Apostolic Anointing at it's best

Apostle:

The word apostle means, “One sent as a messenger.” “Consider Jesus, the apostle and high priest of our confession” (Hebrews 3:1).

Jesus was sent by his Father to save the world (John 3:17).

When applied to the twelve (13) original apostles it means that they were chosen by Jesus and sent into the world in his name and bearing his message.  The apostles had various other duties and responsibilities to include but not limited to witnessing the resurrection (Acts 1:15; 4:33) and regulatory governmental policy and procedures in the house of Jehovah (Yahweh).  Essentially, an apostle has three criteria:  must be sent by another, sent in reference to a particular mission, and sent with sufficient power to accomplish the mission.

The Twelve Apostles:

1Jesus summoned His twelve disciples and gave them authority over unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal every kind of disease and every kind of sickness. 2Now the names of the twelve apostles are these: The first, Simon, who is called Peter, and Andrew his brother; and James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother; 3Philip and Bartholomew; Thomas and Matthew the tax collector; James the son of Alphaeus, and Thaddaeus;(Matt 10:2NIV) The thirteenth apostle was Matthias (Acts 1:26 HIV)

26 Then they cast lots, and the lot fell to Matthias; so he was added to the eleven apostles.

Apostle Paul was the 13 Apostle(Acts 9:1-31).

Timothy was the 14 Apostle(Acts 16:1)

[ Timothy Joins Paul in Lystra ] Paul arrived in the city of Derbe and then went to Lystra, where a disciple named Timothy lived. Timothy’s mother was a Jewish believer, but his father was Greek.
Barnabas walked in the Apostolic Anointing, that he was very close with all the Apostles(Acts 9:27).
Silas walked in the Apostolic and Prophetic Anointing Realms(Acts 15: 22-40).

Any prophecy should be confirmed independently (2 Corinthians 13:1), and any prophecy should line up with Scripture, "the sure word of prophecy" (2 Peter 1:19-21).  The prophet operates best in the teamwork with the Apostle (Chief Apostle Paul and Prophet Silas). A prophet is not just someone with a prophetic anointing, but a recognized ministry to the Kingdom of God
