Evangelist Treva Renee Gordon was born in Detroit , Michigan . She grew up in River Rouge, MI and her parents are Steve and Joan Sanders. Her mother passed away in 2003.
From the 1st – 6th grade, Evangelist Gordon overcame several learning challenges. As a result she was placed in special education. Her testimony has been as a child and growing up, she never felt smart enough or good enough. But God!
Evangelist Gordon later joined the military and served for 3 years as Motor Transportation Specialist (truck driver). There in the Army, she met and married the love of her life Robert Gordon. They have 3 children –Robert 17, Tevin -11, Robyn -8.
Evangelist Gordon loves to spread the Good News.
In 2004, she was miraculously healed by God after giving birth to their 3rd child. Diagnosed with Toxemia, hope seemed dim. But today she is a living testimony.
She is an entrepreneur….she is a business owner. She is the publisher of Convenient Shopper Magazine, since 2005. She is a motivational speaker. In 2011, she started a prison ministry called Team Purpose.
In 2012, she completed her 1st marathon (26.2 miles). Her favorite scripture is Phil. 4:13.
Evangelist Treva Gordon is also a playwright and her new play titled Deception “Fooled By A Feeling” is touring to 7 cities throughout 2013 and 2014. This play features Pastor Wess Morgan, Tina Brown, Lavon Bracey and Jeff Gilyard.
She is a graduate of Austin Peay State University with a B.S. degree in Corporate Communications and marketing. Remember when I mentioned that she was in special education from 1st through 6th grade. She graduated from APSU with honors. God can!!!
Her testimony of healing will air on the 700 Club in 2013. She is the founder of Leading Ladies, Leading Ladies conference, and Leading Ladies Book. In 2013, she is organizing Kansas Leading Ladies. Her last conference was held in Michigan with Dr. Dorinda Clark Cole. It was a great success. She also traveled back home to speak to more than 600 youth at her former high school.
In past years, she has worked extensively as a TV/Radio Personality hosting her own radio and television talk shows. In 2011, she was awarded the Citizen of the Year Award by Omega Psi Phi Fraternity. She is the founder of Clarksville Unity Day, she is also an artist and songwriter. Her first song Devil U’s A Lie. She has served on numerous boards and assisted several non-profits to include: Young Daughters of Destiny, LEAP, The Lighthouse, Manna Café, Nia Association and more!!!!
