You must never worship any God but Jehovah; obey only his commands and cling to him. "The prophet who tries to lead you astray must be executed, for he has attempted to foment rebellion against the Lord your God who brought you out of slavery in the land of Egypt. By executing him you will clear out the evil from among you. If your nearest relative or closest friend, even a brother, son, daughter, or beloved wife whispers to you to come and worship these foreign gods, do not consent or…Continue

God's goodness is expressed in creation and experienced in salvation. The psalmist proclaims the goodness of God as great and as eternal. God is the true essence of goodness, the Author of unlimited, undeserved generosity.
Though God alone is truly good. Scripture encourages believers to seek goodness by modeling their lives after Christ Jesus. For the Christian, goodness is not simply the absence of evil; it is righteousness accompanied by acts of kindness. As…

How Do YOU Measure Success?
“Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart.” Psalm 37:4
The word success is one of those words whose meaning is understood or established by the intent of its user. Therefore, because everyone has pre-determined differently their own set of aims, goals and purposes – we can agree as well as disagree on what we deem to be…Continue

And the children of Israel did evil again in the sight of the Lord; and the Lord delivered them into the hand of the Philistines forty years. And there was a certain man of Zorah, of the family of the Danites, whose name was Manoah; and his wife was barren, and bare not. And the angel of the Lord appeared unto the woman, and said unto her, Behold now, thou art barren, and bearest not: but thou shalt conceive, and bear a son. Now therefore beware, I pray thee, and drink not wine nor strong…Continue
Use Your Kingdom Authority!
Behold, I have given you authority, …….over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you. Luke 10:19
The only way to avert the successful attacks of the enemy in our lives is to become informed of the tactics that he is using. Most of the time we will tend to respond to a specific attack by using physical weapons; rather than to initiate a diabolical…Continue

Joshua now instructed his men to remove the stone from the mouth of the cave and to bring out the five kings - of Jerusalem, Hebron, Jarmuth, Lachish, and Eglon. Joshua told the captains of his army to put their feet on the king's necks.
You need to kill the chief spirit in your life. If you don't destroy this spirit, that same chief will go back, form another army, regroup himself, and come back again. He is a captain, and captains are trained to form armies. This is why you must…Continue

Afterwards Joshua and the Israeli army returned to Gilgal. During the battle the five kings escaped and hid in a cave at Makkedah. When the news was brought to Joshua that they had been found, he issued a command that a great stone be rolled against the mouth of the cave and that guards be placed there to keep the kings inside. Then Joshua commanded the rest of the army, "Go on chasing the enemy and cut them down from the rear. Don't let them get back to their cities, for the Lord will…Continue

As the men of Israel were pursuing an harassing the foe, Joshua prayed aloud, "Let the sun stand still over Gibeon, and let the moon stand in its place over the valley of Aijalon!" And the sun and the moon didn't move until the Israeli army had finished the destruction of its enemies! This is described in great detail in The Book of Jashar. So the sun stopped in the heavens and stayed there for almost twenty-four hours! Joshua 10:12-13

And as the enemy was racing down the hill to Beth-horon, the Lord destroyed them with a great hailstorm that continued all the way to Azekah; in fact, more men died from the hail than by the swords of the Israelis Joshua 10:11

The Voice of Silence
One of the most rewarding and intimately fulfilling experiences that one can embrace is their relationship with the Lord. Furthermore, as this bond begins to become more “seasoned”, our fellowship with the Lord transcends the “outer court” experience – and will embrace the natural and mature fellowship - which is characteristic to that of a “holy of holies” occurrence. Within this dimension, one will learn to truly appreciate their…Continue

Then the Lord threw them into a panic so that the army of Israel slaughtered great numbers of them at Gibeon and chased the others all the way to Beth-horon and Azekah and Makkedah, killing them along the way Joshua 10:10.
Did you see that, killing them along the way? The killing of this enemy is a process, you need to be submitted to authority, being taught the Word of God, being taught how to pray and how to intercede. It doesn't always happen overnight.

The men of Gibeon hurriedly sent messengers to Joshua at Gilgal. "Come and help your servants!" they demanded. "Come quickly and save us! For all the kings of the Amorites who live in the hills are here with their armies." So Joshua and the Israeli army left Gilgal and went to rescue Gibeon. "Don't be afraid of them," the Lord said to Joshua, "for they are already defeated! I have given them to you to destroy. Not a single one of them will be able to stand up to you." Joshua…Continue
