Every Day...A Day of Thnksgiving

“O give thanks unto the LORD, for he is good.” Psalm107:1

Although our attention is normally drawn to the fourth Thursday in November as the annual day to give thanks – we have learned that EVERY day that the Lord blesses us to open our eyes – is a day to give thanks.

As some of you know, I have an acrostic for practically everything!  Usually this one is sent during the month of November, when we celebrate Thanksgiving Day.  However, we’re in a new season, we’re in a new place, and therefore we must be willing to operate from a new platform – which is not bound by tradition.  (Note:Many traditions are necessary to establish a lifestyle of discipline – however we are no longer to be placed in bondage because of them.)

Today, I’m going to extend to those to whom I come in contact with a “Happy Thanksgiving Day”.   I know that this will be the perfect conversation starter to open the door for me to verbally witness for the Lord.  I can also remind others that our celebration of giving thanks doesn’t have to be limited to a once a year celebration.

So remember every day is a day of thanksgiving because we can:

TTRIUMPH (2 Corinthians 2:14)……. Triumph in every situation.

HHOPE (Psalm 3:7) …………………..We have Hope in the Lord

AASSURANCE (I John 5:14)………… Our Assurance is in God

            NNO GOOD THING (Psalm 6:10)

KKINGDOM PRINCIPLES (Matthew 6:10) ….I operate according to KP

SSHOUT (Psalm 47:1) ……………….  I will shout in the midst of it all!

GGIVE (Luke 6:38)…………………… I am a giver, therefore people will reciprocate

II CAN DO ALL THINGS (Philippians 4:13)…The sky is the limit – no boundaries!

           V – VICTORY (Psalm 44:5)…………….. I am victorious!

            I  – INTERCESSOR (Romans 8:26)……. I have a full time Intercessor 24/7/365

N – NO WEAPON (Isaiah 54:17)……Weapons will be formed but will have no victory

           G – GOODNESS (Psalm 23:6)………….. I expect perpetual blessings – forever!

“Every day is a day of thanksgiving!”

Therefore, we as Saints of the Most High God, must learn that as we live according to the Kingdom Principles above, we will walk in the manifestation of Kingdom Benefits.
