God Has Already Heard Me! (part 2)

 And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us; 15 And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.                                          I John 5:14 &15 (KJV)

The above verse was written as one of the concluding verses in a conversation concerning one’s Salvation.  Therefore, if its application is relevant to such a weighty matter as our eternal state of life – how much even the more the concerns of our daily living?

Ungodly fear is a “coat of endless colors” and is usually the reason why we feel as though God hasn’t heard our request when we pray.  So when I pray, because God has already heard me - I now need to recognize that it is the spirit of fear, which is attempting to cause ME to abort God’s plans for my life.  I’ve got to forbid the spirit of fear from dominating, reigning or even sitting passively in any area of my life.  I’ve got to summit my entire being and surrender my authority to no other force or power, than that of the Holy Spirit.  I must ask Him to reveal to me every area where ungodly fear is present.  Every area in my conscience and/or sub-conscience mind where fear may still have a stronghold….. Any area where fear may have been a comfort zone.  Because I do want the manifestation of those petitions that I’ve placed before the Lord, I’ve got to also ask the Holy Spirit to reveal every open door that satan has used to bring fear into my life – as well as the wisdom to shut those entrances.

I John 4:18 tells me that perfect love will cast out, drive away, eradicate and replace fear.  Therefore, I’ve got to work on my “love walk”.  I must learn to walk in the manifested presence of God’s love that will never fail.  God’s love, which is unconditional – must infiltrate my entire being.  I can’t walk around in my own home and community without showing the love of God and expect the spirit of fear to leave my life.  I can’t harbor: pride, jealously, uncontrolled anger, etc. and think that I’m walking in the perfect love of God!  It’s God’s love working in us which produces God’s faith in us – that will drive out that spirit of fear…… which is usually causing the delay in God’s divine manifestations for my life.

So, because I KNOW that God has already heard me; I must realize that everything in the kingdom of darkness, is now going to attempt to make me think that he didn’t…. and to doubt the promises of God.  To PRAY is to; P=place my petitions before the Lord; R= Rest in the Word of God and Rejoice; A= Align my thoughts, words, actions – everything with the Word of God; Y= Yield to the leading of the Holy Spirit.

Therefore, after I’ve placed my Biblically aligned petitions before the Lord ….my job is now to PUSH!  I must, without delay, find a scripture to back up my petitions.  I must PRAY…. But above all I’ve also got to PUSH……

               P = persevere; U= Under; S=satanic; H= harassment!
