Ephesians 1:4
4 just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love,
This scripture just resounded to me early this morning. That we should be holy and without blame before Him IN LOVE! IN LOVE!
When we are IN LOVE with our Savior we will do whatever He desires Because Love causes us to do everything! We will re arrange our schedules to make time for the one we are IN LOVE with. We will even change habits that we think are not pleasing for the we LOVE. We will ensure that we connect with the one we LOVE daily. Because our thoughts are constantly wondering what is he or she doing right now. We will ensure that we express our LOVE daily. That’s what being IN LOVE is all about. It’s like a dance that you get lost in because you are in the arms of the one you LOVE.
Jesus talks to the disciples about LOVE he states in John 14:15 If you love me, keep my commandments.
Also in John 14:21 Whoever has my commands and obeys them, he is the one who loves me. He who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love him and show myself to him.”
Love and obedience are dependent upon each other. When the two are combined we are then transformed because our obedience is not a matter of duty but of LOVE.
1 John 5:3-For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not burdensome.
Its not burdensome because we stand before Him IN LOVE with Him.
In Revelation 2:4- He commends them on many things but the He states 4 Yet I hold this against you: You have forsaken the love you had at first.
LOVE is essential to our relationship with Christ. We are made perfect in LOVE! Even Paul spoke about the importance of LOVE in stating without LOVE we have nothing.

13 Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal. 2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. 3 And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned,[a]but have not love, it profits me nothing.
I encourage you to Fall IN Love with the one who loved you first!
