Afterwards Joshua and the Israeli army returned to Gilgal. During the battle the five kings escaped and hid in a cave at Makkedah. When the news was brought to Joshua that they had been found, he issued a command that a great stone be rolled against the mouth of the cave and that guards be placed there to keep the kings inside. Then Joshua commanded the rest of the army, "Go on chasing the enemy and cut them down from the rear. Don't let them get back to their cities, for the Lord will help you to completely destroy them." Joshua 10:15-19
There is a responsibility for you to do. Your job is to keep resisting and refusing the enemy activity in your life. You job is to keep doing battle with the enemy. Chase that spirit(s) out and don't let it return. That is the done by submitting yourself unto God, rebuke the devil and he will have to flee in the name of Jesus.
Get rid of everything in your house and around your possessions that represent illegal satanic activity, and don't let it back in your house. This means the physical house that you live in, with your house address and street name AND your body. Keep the unclean spirits from returning to the place where you have chased it from, and replace its presence with the Word of God and the Holy Spirit. Don't forget to pray, praise and worship also. Continue to have fellowship with the saints. The Lord will help you to complete victory over the enemy.

So Joshua and the Israeli army continued the slaughter and wiped out the five armies except for a tiny remnant that managed to reach their fortified cities. Then the Israelis returned to their camp at Makkedah without having lost a single man! And after that no one dared to attack Israel Joshua 10:20,21
When the enemy see you fighting like this, and recognizes what kind of power is fighting with you, realizing you have a pastor, the saints and the heavenly hosts backing you up, he knows that he is a defeated foe. He knows that he cannot bring you into bondage over this area of your life again.
