The Origen Of The Seven Pillars Of Wisdom

In Proverbs 9:1 Wisdom Hath Builded Her House, She Hath Hewn Out Her Seven Pillars. The Same Wisdom That Spoke In Chapter 8 Speaks In This Chapter. There She Was Represented As Manifest In All The Works Of God In The Material Worlds. Here She Is Represented As The Ruler Of What She Has Built; She Is Seen Building A House, Making A Banquet, And Sending Out Her Maids To Invite Guests To Partake Of Her Bounties. She Is Pictured Here As A Builder, Sculptress, Butcher And Gracious Hostess. Wisdom Is Personified Here In Chapter Eight and Nine As Well a). Searches b) Hates c) Counsels d) Advises e) Builds etc…

Proverbs 8:
1) Prudence: I Wisdom Dwell With Prudence, And Find Out Knowledge Of Witty Inventions (Verse 12). Prudence Here Is Defined As Practical Wisdom Or Wisdom In Action, Choosing The Best Means To An End. Hence, Witty (Shrewd, Practical) Inventions. Whoever Is Wise, Let Him Understand These Things; Whoever Is Discerning, Let Him Know Them. For The Ways Of The Lord Are Right, And The Righteous Will Walk In Them, But Transgressors Will Stumble In Them (Hosea 14:9).
2) Knowledge & Discernment: The Prudent See Danger And Take Refuge, But The Simple Keep Going And Pay The Penalty. The Reward Of Humility And The Fear Of The Lord Are Riches, Honor And Life. (Prov 22:3, 4).
3) The Fear Of God: The Fear Of The Lord Is To Hate Evil, Pride, And Arrogance, And The Evil Way, And The Forward Mouth, Do I Hate. (Verse 13). Wisdom Hates What God Hates. The Highest Virtue Is Humility (Submission To God), And Thus Wisdom Hates Pride And Self-Exaltation Above All.
4) Counsel: Counsel Is Mine (Verse14). Listen To Counsel And Accept Discipline, That You May Be Wise The Rest Of Your Days. Many Plans Are In A Man's Heart, But The Counsel Of The Lord Will Stand. (Prov 19: 20, 21).The Spirit Of The Lord Shall Rest Upon Him, The Spirit Of Wisdom And Understanding, The Spirit Of Counsel And Might, The Spirit Of Knowledge And Of The Fear Of The Lord;" We Should Seek This Spirit Of The Lord To Have These Things (Isa 11: 2).
5) Sound Wisdom: By His Knowledge The Deeps Were Broken Up And The Skies Drip With Dew. My Son, Let Them Not Vanish From Your Sight; Keep Sound Wisdom And Discretion, So They Will Be Life To Your Soul And Adornment To Your Neck. (Prov 3: 20-22). This Is To My Father's Glory, That You Bear Much Fruit, Showing Yourselves To Be My Disciples (John15:8). “Righteousness, Justice And Equity”. These Are The Ways That We Can Be Wise In Our Daily Behavior. These Are The Great Prophetic Themes. The Emphasis Here Is On Action Rather Than On Casual Armchair Religion.
6) Understanding: I Am Understanding. Wisdom [Is] The Principal Thing; [Therefore] Get Wisdom: And With All Thy Getting Get Understanding (Prov 4: 7). Buy The Truth And Do Not Sell It-- Wisdom, Instruction And Insight As Well. (Prov 23:23).
7) Power: It Is Good That You Grasp One Thing And Also Not Let Go Of The Other; For The One Who Fears God Comes Forth With Both Of Them. Wisdom Strengthens A Wise Man More Than Ten Rulers Who Are In A City. Indeed, There Is Not A Righteous Man On Earth Who Continually Does Good And Who Never Sins (Ecclesiastes 7: 18-20). A Wise Man Is Strong; Yes, A Man Of Knowledge Increases Strength (Prov 24:5). Wisdom From God Helps Us In All Circumstances. Wisdom, (Advice From God) Would Be Especially Useful In War. When The Israelites Fought Their Wars, They Won When The Lord Led Them In Battle; But When They Fought The Battles In Their Own Strength Without His Help, They Failed And Lost Many Lives. God Must Guide Us In Everything Or We, Too, Will Fail.
