God is the most Amazing, and Exciting God to become to know. We at WOSM like to give a whole-hearted “thanks” to all that joined us on the line yesterday with our first “Book Rally”. It was truly an Awakening Experience that we encountered. Just some nuggets to recap of the teaching from “the 40 day fast” by Cindy Trimm.

“It may be hard for an egg to turn into a bird: it would be a jolly sight harder for it to learn to fly while remaining an egg. We are like eggs at present. And you cannot go on indefinitely being just an ordinary, decent egg. We must be hatched or go bad”----By C. S. Lewis

Wherever growth and transformation are not taking place, there is stagnation and death.

The word glory connotes “the full expression” of the potential of an object or person.” The glory of the sun is its heat and light; the glory of a flower is its fragrance and beauty; the glory of a human being is fully expressing our God-like nature; for the glory of God is man fully alive.

“As a believer, you are a shadow of your future self. There is a real you that is more you than you can even imagine; uniquely you that reflects Him. As you are indwelt by the Spirit, you do that more and more”.

Genesis 1:26 (a) (AMP)

26 Then God said, “Let Us (Father, Son, Holy Spirit) make man in Our image, according to Our likeness [not physical, but a spiritual personality and moral likeness]

In conclusion; we talked about the number 40 how it represents the transformation passage. Look at a caterpillar he realizes he is intended for greater things. So he sheds his old life, struggles to a higher place, attaches himself to a leaf, and risks everything to spin a cocoon and wait. My God in the Heavens. He has done his part, now he waits for the Creator of the universe to do His.

Please join us on March 3rd to continue our 40-day soul fast. It’s a life changing experience that you must come and see to be a part of.  Be Delivered, Be Healed, Be Set Free!!!

Day 32 of our “Daily Proverbs Series”. Let’s read Proverbs 21:1-31.

Praise the Lord on this wonderful, peaceful morning. I thank God that we are well over half our way in our “great series” of Proverbs. I pray that you are enjoying this powerful read.

Proverbs 21:1-3, 4, 5 Amplified Bible, Classic Edition (AMPC)

1 The king’s heart is in the hand of the Lord, as are the watercourses; He turns it whichever way He wills.

2 Every way of a man is right in his own eyes, but the Lord weighs and tries the hearts.

3 To do righteousness and justice is more acceptable to the Lord than sacrifice.

4 Haughtiness of eyes and a proud heart, even the tillage of the wicked or the lamp [of joy] to them [whatever it may be], are sin [in the eyes of God].

5 The thoughts of the [steadily] diligent tend only to plenteous, but everyone who is impatient and hasty hastens only to want.

We know in Solomon’s day, kings possessed absolute authority and were often considered to be like gods. This proverb shows, that God has ultimate authority over world rulers. Although they may not have realized it, the earth’s most powerful kings have always been under God’s control. (Isa 10:5-8)

People can find an excuse for doing almost anything, but God looks behind the excuse to the motives of the heart. We often have to make choices in areas where the right action is difficult to discern. Identify the motives of our action is simple; just ask ourselves “Will God Be Please” with the real reason for doing this? Doing good deeds doesn’t empress God when they are done with a conniving, devious and/or manipulative motives.

Sacrifices and offerings are not bribes to make God overlook our character faults. If our personal and business dealing are not characterized by justice, no amount of generosity when the offering plate is passed will make up for it.

Faithful completion of a mundane tasks is a great accomplishment. Such work takes discipline and determination to say the least. We have to make a sound decision to complete what is at hand and know that all that we go through of getting there is well worth the trip.

Day 31 of our “Daily Proverbs Series”. Let’s read Proverbs 20:1-30.

Blessing; I truly believe God is doing something with us in this series; I know for myself, it is definitely an eye opener, making changes to my life, and drawing me closer to God. I pray that it’s a delight unto you as well. Remember we are expounding on various verse throughout our series. You are welcome to share yours.

Proverbs 20:9, 24-25

9 Who can say, “I have cleaned my heart”? or who can proclaim, “I am purified from sin”?

24 Every one of our steps is directed by Him; so how can we attempt to figure out our own way?

25 Those who rashly dedicate something to God are trapped;

only afterward do they realize what they’ve promised.

Proverb 20:9

9 Who can say, “I have cleaned my heart”? or who can proclaim, “I am purified from sin”?

No one is without sin. As soon as we confess our sin and repent, sinful thoughts and actions begin to creep back into our lives.  We all need ongoing cleansing, moment by moment. Thank God he provides forgiveness by his mercy when we ask for it. Make confession and repentance a regular part of your talk with God. Rely on him moment by moment for the cleansing you need.

Proverbs 20:24-25

24 Every one of our steps is directed by Him; so how can we            attempt to figure out our own way?

25 Those who rashly dedicate something to God are trapped;

only afterward do they realize what they’ve promised.

We are often confused by the events around us. Many things we will never understand; we should not worry if we don’t. Begin to Trust God the more, that He actually knows what He is doing, even if his timing or design is not clear to us. Psalms 37:23, gives us assurance of the promise of God involvement in our lives.

This proverb points out the evil of making a vow and then reconsidering it. God takes vows seriously and requires that they be carried out (Deut.23:21-23). We often have good intentions when making a vow because we want to show God that we are determined to please him. Jesus, however, tells us it is better not to make promises to God because he knows how difficult they are to keep. (Matt. 5:33-37)

Day 30 of our “Daily Proverbs Series”. Let’s read Proverbs 19:1-29.

This is a Wonderful and a Peaceful day on this day. Bright Morning, Glorious Afternoon and a Delightful evening. Thank You Lord!!!

As we are traveling through Proverbs there is so much to intake, so much to gather and even taking hold of; Nevertheless; we must take the initiative and learn of the wisdom and knowledge along with understanding in which God is speaking to us. Knowledge is good, but there is a vast difference between “knowledge” {having the facts} and “wisdom” {applying and/or implementing} those facts to life. We may amass knowledge, but without wisdom our knowledge is useless. We must learn how to live out what we know.

Proverbs 19:1-8

1 Better to be poor and live with integrity than a fool with a foul mouth.

2 Surely there’s no advantage for a person without knowledge,

and whoever moves too quickly misses the turn.

3 Foolishness diverts the course of life, yet the heart rebels against the Eternal.

4 Wealth attracts many friends, but the poor are soon separated from theirs.

5 A false witness will not escape punishment, and one who breathes lies will not go free.

6 Many try to win the favor of a generous person, and everyone is a friend to someone who gives gifts.

7 If a poor man is hated by his relatives, it is even more likely his friends will avoid him too! Anyone who is calling after them is not to be found

8 Whoever gains a wise heart loves his own soul, and whoever preserves understanding experiences true goodness.

In chapter 19:1-8 Summing up:

Integrity is far more valuable than wealth, it will take you far more than any sizable amount of money. Let’s us remember whom we are serving, and if we are tempted in being involved in a crocked scheme to get ahead, think again, because you will pay sooner or later.

In spite of the dangers, we often rush into the unknown. Many of us marry without knowing what to expect of our partner or of a married life. Even in employment we look at $$$ signs instead of searching for something that we have a passion for, Ministry is about the same, we see something, that in-fact may look great but come to find out it’s not what God intended. My God. But God will help, see us through it all; Romans 8:28; All things work together for the good, (paraphrasing). That’s why it’s so important to develop a sincere relationship with God, to guide and lead us into all truth.

It is good to love yourself? However, this proverb does not refer to the self-centered person who loves and protects his or her selfish interests and will do anything to serve them. Instead, it encourages those who really care about themselves to seek wisdom. Be Delivered, Be Healed, Be Set Free!!!

Day 29 of our “Daily Proverbs Series”. Let’s read Proverbs 18:1-24.

I pray everyone had a wonderful and delightful valentine weekend. We have our significant other, families, friends, acquaintance and/or colleague that we showed our special love to; however, there is no greater love than our Jesus Christ that went to the cross for you and I; we must demonstrate and exemplify Him Genuine Love at all times.  This Proverb is a powerful as the others, read, meditate, and read again.

Proverbs 18:13-17 The Voice

13 To respond to a matter before you hear about it

    shows foolishness and brings shame.

14 The human spirit can endure a long illness,

but who can survive a crushed spirit?

15 Clever people go after knowledge to obtain it,

and wise people attune their ears to hear it.

16 The right gift at the right time can open up new opportunities

and gains access to influential people.

17 The first ones to tell their side of a story seem right

    until cross-examined by their peers.

Within these summarizing statements there are three (3) basic principles for making sound decisions:

Get the facts before deciding on anything that you are about to do, say or take off into a new adventure.

Be open to new ideas, that’s why it’s good to have someone that will truly listen, having an open mind that can give Godly Spirit advice.

If in a position of counselling, we must be wise to have the knowledge of both side; this can be tricky and it must be handle with wisdom and understanding.

All three principles center around seeking additional information, it may be hard at times but we will obtain all that we can, to arrive at the right place.

We are on day 28 of our “Daily Proverbs Series”. Let’s read Proverbs 17:1-28.

God is so Great, Awesome, and He is ready to enlighten us with His Wisdom, Knowledge and Understanding. Are you ready to receive on this day?

Proverbs 17:1-3

17 Better to gnaw on a bit of dry crust in peace than to feast in a house full of stress.

2 A wise servant will be put in charge of a child who behaves badly and will take a share of the inheritance like one of the family.

3 Silver is purified in the crucible, gold in the furnace, but motives of the heart are judged by the Eternal.

My God this says so much, this is the truth, there is nothing like having Peace, unspeakable Joy and Peace. Ok that’s out…lol..It takes intense heat to purify gold and silver, similarly, it often takes the heat of trials for the Christians to be purified.

Sometimes while in a trial or test we can’t see what is going on, most if not all the time we are focus on “what is happening” God show us what is actually in us. My God in the heavens. He begins to clear out anything that gets in the way of complete trust in him.

1 Peter 1:7 says “The trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold  that perished, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honor and glory.

Title: Connection Time: Who and What are you Connected To?

John 15:1-17---The Voice Bible

Connect – to join, link, to fasten together, unite, or bind. To cause to be associated, as in a personal/business and spiritual relationship: to connect oneself with a group of like-minded persons;

Think about a bunch of grapes, as you are taking notice of them look at the vine that the grapes are on. I see a strong, unbreakable and indestructible vine, the color looks very health; which then the strong vine; the durable vine is connected to an in-between vine; which is not as thick or heavy as the main vine; however it carries it’s weight; the in-between vine has little stubs (if you will) and they are in position in various direction, but yet connected; they are in position to bring forth the grapes; to bring forth the fruit of the vine; which is there to keep the grapes, hold up the grapes, keeping them intact, they are in position, connected all together.
