Choose Life and Live

Deuteronomy 30:15-20 Regardless of where we are in life: we all can agree that we are called by God to Choose Life and Live or Choose Death and Die. I chose Life so that I may compel and others to Christ. In this passage, Moses final plea to the Hebrew people is to Choose Life to the people and their descendants may live loving the Lord their God, obeying him and holding fast to his precepts and laws. By following God's commandments it will have fruitful impact on future life. You will gain life and live, but if you choose otherwise you will reap repercussion and suffer. With this being said, I came to terms in my life over 20 years ago to Choose life and live. I like to live the life that I sing, teach, and speak about. I found out that the best example of a fruitful life in Christ is to live it not just speak it. I'm Clide Evette Wilson Lane originally from Coffeeville, Ms. where I was birth and reared up until December 18, 2013 then my daughter and I moved to Water Valley, Ms. In 2008, we forces with the Kingdom Movement Community Church in Coffeeville, Ms where I serve as faithful member, greeter, and minister of the youth and young adult department. Since I've been under my pastor's leadership, teaching and preaching my faith has strengthen, and my spiritual life has grown tremendously. Elder Marcus Dudley has taught us how to believe in God and study his word that we may learn how to fight the forces of the enemy. In 2007, my life took a pivot turn in an unexpected way that I never anticipated. I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer and wow was I blown away. I cried yes I cried, but choices had to be made, so therefore it was me and God and the enemy. This is when I had to put on my whole armour and fight like the true warrior that I am. My pastor and my church went in prayer like never before and we made it through Praise God. Then in 2010 I had a reoccurrence of Breast Cancer which God healed and delivered me from. Since these occurrences I don't take life or God for granted. Each and every day I wake up I thank God for the breath of life that he give me to see and experience a new lease on life. This gives me a chance to witness to others about the goodness, grace and mercy and how he still save heal and deliver. Out of all I still Choose Life and I'm living my life like it's golden. I've had an opportunity to speak at different cancer events to testify and tell the goodness of God. I'm here as a new kid on the block seeking to learn and be taught on how to really seek God's face in the midst of storm. Sometimes we as minister fall weak and we have to be encouraged. Stay true to his word and stay true to self and others.
