SCRIPTURES OF THE DAY-11-2-10

Ever follow that which is good. (1 Thes. 5:15) For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps: who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth: who, when he was reviled, reviled not again; … but committed himself to him that judgeth righteously. (1 Pet. 2:21-23) Consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds. (Heb. 12:3) Let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. (Heb. 12:1, 2) Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report: if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. (Phil. 4:8)-BE BLESS AGAPE!!!!

God is my defence. SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY-10-14-10

Christ both died, and rose, and revived, that he might be Lord both of the dead and living. (Rom. 14:9) It pleased the Lord to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the Lord shall prosper in his hand. He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities. (Isa. 53:10, 11) Ought not Christ to have suffered these things, and to enter into his glory? (Luke. 24:26) We thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead: and that be died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again. (2 Cor. 5:14, 15) Let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made that same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ. (Acts. 2:36) Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you, who by him do believe in God. (1 Pet. 1:20, 21)-BE BLESS AGAPE!!!

From the first day that thou didst set thine heart to understand, and to chasten thyself before thy God, thy words were heard. (Dan. 10:12) Thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, whose name is Holy; I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones. (Isa. 57:15 ) The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise. (Psa. 51:17) Though the Lord be high, yet hath he respect unto the lowly: but the proud he knoweth afar off. (Psa. 138:6) Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time. (1 Pet. 5:6) God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble. Submit yourselves therefore to God. (Jas. 4:6, 7) Thou, Lord, art good, and ready to forgive; and plenteous in mercy unto all them that call upon thee. Give ear, O Lord, unto my prayer; and attend to the voice of my supplications. In the day of my trouble I will call upon thee: for thou wilt answer me. (Psa. 86:5-7)-BE BLESS AGAPE!!!

Be not far from me; for trouble is near. (Psa. 22:11) How long wilt thou forget me, O Lord? for ever? how long wilt thou hide thy face from me? How long shall I take counsel in my soul, having sorrow in my heart daily? will not fear what man shall do unto me. (Heb. 13:6) Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. (Rom. 8:35, 37) Be not afraid of them that kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do. But I will forewarn you whom ye shall fear: Fear him, which after he hath killed hath power to cast into hell: yea, I say unto you, Fear him. (Luke 12:4, 5) Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness’ sake: for their’s is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven. (Matt. 5:10-12) None of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy.
