Jesus Challenges the Pharisees’ Traditions

15 Then some Pharisees and experts in Moses’ Teachings came from Jerusalem to Yeshua. They asked, “Why do your disciples break the traditions of our ancestors? They do not wash their hands before they eat.”

He answered them, “Why do you break the commandment of God because of your traditions? For example, God said, ‘Honor your father and your mother’ and ‘Whoever curses father or mother must be put to death.’ But you say that whoever tells his father or mother, ‘I have given to God whatever support you might have received from me,’ does not have to honor his father. Because of your traditions you have destroyed the authority of God’s word. You hypocrites! Isaiah was right when he prophesied about you:

‘These people honor me with their lips,
but their hearts are far from me.
Their worship of me is pointless,
because their teachings are rules made by humans.’”

  • Whoooh Jesus, my God in the Kingdom. This is so much confirmation of what God was sharing with us last night in our night devotion. We must destroy, loose, expel, and cast out all of those traditional ways, habits, cycles, cliches, and old paradigms that we were taught, and learned as a child, and in a religious setting. We must eliminate and let God's perfect love cast out all FEAr(Faith Eliminates All religion)out of our lives. We must self-examine ourselves all day, just like a computer scan, that we do not honor God in our lip sync battle, and our hearts(subconscious minds) are far away from him. Lord, strip us all from everything that is old and full of magnets, spoiled, and contaminated, that hinder us from being one with you. Bless you and thank you Prophetess Lapresha for seeing God in sharing this daily word with us. HalleluYAH!
