Pride is to the kingdom of darkness what humility is to the kingdom of light. In fact, pride is the foundation upon which the kingdom of darkness is built. Pride is a declaration of independence from God because it produces a wrong opinion of self being superior. The spirit of pride caused Satan to believe that he could be God (See Proverbs 11:2; 16:18; 29:23). "But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble" (James 4:6); "Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up" (v. 10). Grace is that God gives us that we don't deserve. Mercy is God doesn't give us what we do deserve. If you are lifted up in pride, you will surely fall if you don't repent now. God knows how to humble us. The last thing that will happen if we continue in pride is being sent to the lake of fire that burns with sulfur and brimestone for eternity. YOU GET TO DECIDE TO REPENT BEFORE GOD AND BE FORGIVEN OR GO TO HELL! The Father desires you to come to him and he will pardon your sins. Will you come to Jesus while you still have time? I pray that everyone will answer with a resounding YES!
