In Ephesians chapter 6 we find the spiritual armor that we are to gird ourselves with. In verse 17 it talks about one of the best weapons we have access to in the word of God referred to as the helmet of salvation. The sword of the Spirit is also a powerful weapon, it enables us to quickly and keenly discern spirits, thoughts, and intents (Hebrews 4:12). Somebody out there besides God knows who you really are. God will not have His people without knowing the sheep from the goats. He will allow those that are walking with him to examine your fruit, whether they are good or bad. Or, howelse can He expect His shepherds to properly feed and take good care of His sheep? The shepherd is responsible for not letting the sheep being attacked by wolves. In regards to people, we are to protect the sheep from having a wrong spirit to be over the people. We are to protect the flock of God like we would our natural children, by interceeding and making sure the enemy does not harm or lead astray. If we see something amiss in our midst we are to resolve it right away, so the enemy can not come in among us to destroy, kill, and steal from us. GUARD YOUR PART OF THE WALL!
