Acts 16:16-18
King James Version (KJV)
16 And it came to pass, as we went to prayer, a certain damsel possessed with a spirit of divination met us, which brought her masters much gain by soothsaying:
17 The same followed Paul and us, and cried, saying, These men are the servants of the most high God, which shew unto us the way of salvation.
18 And this did she many days. But Paul, being grieved, turned and said to the spirit, I command thee in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her. And he came out the same hour.

He command in the name of Jesus and that same hour got set free, power and authority in the name of Jesus, we must never forget that as believers
Paul was not playing, he command that spirit out in Jesus Name & It exited her body!! Wow, AMEN AMEN AAAGGGAAAPPPEEE!!!
Praise the Lord ,Jesus ! Apostle Paul became such a anointed man of God! He knew his authority in Jesus and was obedient .
Once again, We need to recognize these unclean spirits, rebuke them and pray them away.
we have the same power and authority.
Paul commanded the spirit to come out of her.......He had the authority and power from God
When we begin to truly understand the authority given to us noticeable change will become evident. We have been given great authority to cast out devils but we must walk in faith and confidence in that authority and not be fearful. Paul no doubt had become sick and tired of the demons and spoke with authority of a chosen vessel. When we get sick and tired of being sick and tired, then we will be speak with such authority.
I imagine that spirit(disruptive) finally worked Paul's last nerve and he pulled out the big guns "I COMMAND THEE IN THE NAME OF JESUS TO COME OUT OF HER... He spoke with power and authority in JESUS name. We to have that same authority..
