Galatians 5:22-25

22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. 24 Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. 25 Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit.

Amen Daughter's So true. I love the song " And they'll know we are Christians by our love" They'll know we are Christians by the fruits we bare.We are an open book a mirror to the world, just looking for one slip of the tongue, one rude act, one little white (so they say). A lie is a lie no matter how big are how small. We have got to be Christians which means to be Christ Like. Some may never go to church, and we may be the only Jesus they see through us. Let our lights (lives) so SHINE before men, that they may see our good works and glorify our Father which is in heaven. We are the light of the world. Shine DAUGHTER'S Shine in a dark dreary, distorted sin sick society. It is sad but we can brighten and bring Love, Joy, Peace and Happiness in the lives of many , and fulfill our Greater Works Jesus was talking about. "And it is so" in the name of Jesus. This is nice. This is how God want us to grow. This is how people should see us. We are known by our fruits. If you see an apple tree, no one has to tell you that it is an apple tree you can tell by the fruit. When Christ dwells in us, we don't have to go around and tell me people that Christ dwells within us. We will live it and walk it and we never have to open our mouth. I love how God make it so simple to get to know Him and love him.
Beautiful illustration. Christ's life on earth reveals his commitment to His Father, his passion for the souls of men and women, his compassion for the hurting, and his unflinching commitment to truth and duty. The Holy Spirit was given to produce the same in us. When the Holy Spirit controls our lives, He will produce this king of fruit in us. In order for the Holy Spirit to produce the fruits of the Spirit we must belong to Jesus Christ. Only those who have new life in Christ can live by the power of His Holy Spirit that has been given to us. (Rom.8) "I believe those who belong to Christ have nailed their passions and sinful nature to His cross and crucified them there" (Gal.5:24) "As a result, this means not doing what my sinful nature craves" but living according to my new life by the power of the Holy Spirit, and being lead by the Holy Spirit in every aspect of my life. (Gal. 5:26) "God isn't finished with me yet" and that is not an excuse for inexcusable behavior. It is a statement of hope, desire, and commitment: I'm not what I was and I'm not what I will be, but God's remaking me- and I'm on my way to glory. As the Spirit of the Lord works within us, we become more and more like Him and reflect His glory, even more. (2 Cor.3:18). And so I am confident that He which has begun a good work in us, will continue His work until it is finally finished on that day when Jesus Christ comes back again. ( Phil.1:16). Lord God Almighty I thank you for giving us your Holy Spirit, that will help us to live and to become all you desire us to be. Thank you for making us a new creature (creation) in Christ Jesus. Getting rid of the old sinful nature, forgetting about the past, and pressing toward a higher calling in Christ Jesus.
