Heavenly Father , God of Abraham , Isaac and Jacob , We place our hands on the head of our children ( place your child / children / grandchildren name here) as Jesus did in his earthly ministry.
May they know You early in their life. May they learn to hear your voice and obey your commandments.
We ask you , Lord God , to bless our sons and daughters in their going out and coming in . may you send your angels before our sons and daughters to prepare their way. To protect them all from all harm and danger , to be their rear guard.
Bring them godly friends and prepare the spouse intended for them who will love our sons and daughters second only to you .
Bring them the blessings of Abraham to be their portion . May they prosper and do well , may everything they touch be blessed by God.
Bless their heart, soul and body to be consecrated to the purpose of God. May the grace and peace of God rest upon our children / grandchildren.
