    I believe that the unclean spirits feared Jesus because He is the Messiah, savior of humankind, He is ALL and knew all THROUGH GOD. They knew and were stopped in their tracks. Jesus was asked why couldn't I heal him and Jesus said it had to be done by prayer. Through the Lord Jesus Christ His wisdom, knowledge, anointing, dominion, healing, all carried over, was extended out through His people to touch lives more and more.

    I believe that the unclean spirits feared JESUS because they knew that he was the son of GOD and he had all Authority and power over them. JESUS can also heal the sick and raised the dead and make the blind man see and JESUS was able to do so much more with the people of GOD.So no one can do greater works then JESUS CHRIST.

    The unclean spirits was afraid of JESUS because he had power and authority over them and they knew that their end had come when they saw him.
    When JESUS SAID GREATER WORKS SHALL WE DO HE MEANT THAT WE WOULD CARRY ON THE WORK THAT GOOD SET BEFORE US FOR A LONGER PERIOD OF TIME

    Hello Chira,

    I agree with your statement when you've noted, "...He was raising up an army of disciples who also had the power to cast them out."  Plus, I also want to note that you've made an interesting point in terms of social media and we being able to reach a larger audience.

    Hello Taschia,
    I believe that God has given us the same ability to do the same work. He doesn't want us to "WORK" in fear when dealing with these unclean spirits. That's why He has given us the spirit of "sound mind" so we can produce a good work.

    These unclean spirits feared Jesus because He walked in the authority of the God. Jesus didn't fear these spirits. He didn't ask, beg, or negotiate with these spirits. He gave a command and the word was final. Moreover, we must remember that God has given each of us the authority to trample on the heads of serpents. Authority and the greater works means that we’re able to:
     Heal the sick
     Cast out demons
     Exercise our power to speak against the darkness over our lives. This is a part of our works when employed by God.

    Unclean spirit fear Jesus because of His power and authority. When He say greater works, I believe he meant we have the ability to the same works just more of them through the power of the Holy Spirit.

    Jesus had power and authority. The unclean spirits fear Jesus because he had power and were afraid

    what Jesus may do. Jesus wanted to see the people  that was sick being made hold and with unclean spirits We shall do greater works in the spirit realm, Jesus says. He knew his time was not long on earth.
