The Church of Jesus Christ is approaching seasons of unprecedented power and authority. Even as it was prophesied that the manifold wisdom of God would be made known to the principalities by the Church (Ephesians 3:10), we stand on the very precipice of just such a moment in time. It can be defined as the visible increase of His heavenly, peacemaking ability through Eminent Domain.
Eminent Domain
Recently during a conversation I had, surrounding challenges to certain nations, Haiti, and the issue of demonic covenants came up. The question specifically had to with the agreements with darkness made by earthly governments, particularly nations such as Haiti. Immediately two words leaped out of my spirit: Eminent Domain!
Though I was loosely familiar with the term, it struck me to pursue its meaning in greater depth. The first definition I found went something like this: The right of a government or its agent to expropriate or change the use of land. Which is to say, whatever uses have been determined by one agency can be redefined by another with greater authority.
This means anything natural governments invoke or declare can be reversed. There is a higher government with greater rights! God's government is capable of re-ordering land use according to the design and purpose of the "original owner." God has the preeminent right of Eminent Domain.
The promise being released to our hearts says there is no permanence in any authority but God's. Everything else is subject to change. No matter what they do or who they represent, there is only One capable of establishing unchangeable things.
Thus, from a purely legal standpoint, we have an authority to re-order land uses. This includes nations, cities, and regions of any kind. As ambassadors, the people of God are the agency of Heaven, complete with delegated powers. Both ancient and new covenants are subject to the absolute will of Heaven for which we are given the mandate to declare, "Your Kingdom come on Earth as it is in Heaven." "Change of use" decrees are coming!
Personal Application
The same can apply to the individual Believer and anything connected to their destiny. The Kingdom of darkness would like to leverage your past over you, but God is invoking the right of Eminent Domain. Only He has ultimate claim over your life and person and since He has the right to expropriate, the enemy has no legal recourse.
The Holy Spirit is wanting to make clear that His "change of use" orders for the expropriated land of your life is the only legitimate and permanent ones. Though the enemy would use previous covenants to suggest a bond, there is no permanence in them. By extension, claims against you have been nullified – no guilt or shame has right of access.
Even so, principalities and powers do everything to convince us of the inevitable increase of darkness. By invoking rights of precedence and history, they hope to entrench their authority, yet the Spirit says, "Everything that can be shaken will be shaken." Everything will be shaken including demonic ownership claims against cities, lands, and people.
"Now this, 'Yet once more,' indicates the removal of those things that are being shaken, as of things that are made, that the things which cannot be shaken may remain." (Hebrews 12:27)
This promise deals directly with the enemy's effort to make us believe in the permanence of evil. Both from the standpoint of nations and individuals, the kingdom of darkness clings to a slim illusion, a hope they can somehow retain the last word. Their boast rests in the misplaced optimism that nothing really changes and that "all things continue as they were from the beginning of creation" (2 Peter 3:4). Certainly, this is a lie which even Isaiah declared to be null and void.
Nullifying Covenants
The prophet leverages on the reality of Eminent Domain as he faces the obstinate pride of wicked men in his generation. Like evil we see in every age, it possesses a twisted mindset of invincibility. It is intrinsic in the web of lies fueling their arrogance which God will destroy! Again the Spirit of Christ declares the end saying:
"Also I will make justice the measuring line,
And righteousness the plummet;
The hail will sweep away the refuge of lies,
And the waters will overflow the hiding place.
Your covenant with death will be annulled,
And your agreement with Sheol will not stand;
When the overflowing scourge passes through,
Then you will be trampled down by it." (Isaiah 28:17-18)
Isaiah's pronouncement outlines the determination of the government of Heaven and God's ultimate intent. His edict stands in stark contrast to their boast summarized by way of their "covenant with death" (Isaiah 28:15). Yet, God is invoking the right of Eminent Domain saying, "There is no refuge and no hiding place distant enough for you."
Likewise, no edict, decree or covenant will stand in the light of what approaches the earth. These are the days of Elijah where dry bones are becoming as flesh.
Hope to the Nations
Thus in the spirit of faith, we declare to nations such as Haiti: The spirit of renewal and restoration is ready! Arise, shine, for your light has come! Let the hopelessness and the shroud of darkness hovering over the families of nations feel the power of shaking, as the imminent and eminent right of Heaven's Domain overshadows the earth. Our God possesses the absolute right of Eminent Domain.
"He shall have dominion also from sea to sea, and from the river unto the ends of the earth." (Psalms 72:8)

Nothing in the earth realm or spirit realm happens unless permission is given by God. We succumb to the devices of the enemy if we do not walk in the divine authority that is given to us by God. Because of tragic events in life some of us began to connect, walk in and believe in ourselves so the darkness and lies settle in and they are trapped by strongholds. These strongholds keeps us in bondage because we can not see God anywhere because of the darkness that have covered us. It is like a cataract on your eye. You know there is light but due to the cloudiness, or a film that blocks it you can not see. The same in the spirit the distortion of darkness comes and make it hard for us to see and without sight we are in darkness but when the Word of God comes in and removes the film we are back in the light again. We can see again once the film is gone because we have light that comes in. For example when we look at a apple the light waves reflect of the apple and hit the light-sensitive retina at the back of your eye that is when you see the color. The same in the spirit when the light waves reflect off the Word of God your spiritual retina will show you the light so you can come out of darkness.
