Deuteronomy 3:11
For only Og king of Bashan remained of the remnant of giants; behold his bedstead was a bedstead of iron; is it not in Rabbath of the children of Ammon? nine cubits was the length thereof, and four cubits the breadth of it, after the cubit of a man.

Most Christians have heard of the giant Goliath, but fewer are familiar with Og. Og was the king of Bashan, and a descendant of the giants, who fought against Israel. God delivered Og into the hands of Israel and Moses defeated him.

Numbers 21:33
And they turned and went up by the way of Bashan: and og the king of bashan went out against them, he, and all his people, to the battle at edrei.

Og represents giants that stand in your way as you journey towards your inheritance. Og’s kingdom was on the eastern side of the Jordan, and Israel encountered him before they crossed the Jordan to possess the land of promise.

Deuteronomy 3:3
So the Lord our God delivered into our hands Og also, the king of Bashan, and all his people: and we smote him until none was left to him remaining.

God delivered Og into the hands of Israel. I pray that every Og standing in your way would be delivered into your hands.

Deuteronomy 4:47
And they possessed his land, and the land of Og king of Bashan, two kings of the Amorites, which were on this side Jordan toward the sunrising;

Israel possessed the land of Og. Let every Og be driven out of your life, and let you possess his land.

Psalm 136:20
And Og the king of Bashan: for his mercy endureth for ever:

Let God’s mercy and lovingkindness be manifested in your life giving you victory over every Og.
