Exhale and Breathe In Deeply

Because…. You’ve Only Just Begun!

No doubt all of you have completed various tasks during your lifetime.  I would just like to remind you that your life still yet holds more for you.  Without regards to your age, educational achievements, or your current economic status, each new day gives you the opportunity to embrace a new concept, idea, investment or venture!

I can remember when I was a child, in preparation for one of my graduation ceremonies in school, we had to learn a song entitled, “We’ve Only Just Begun”.  Although I don’t remember the song in its entirety, I can recall these phrases: “so many roads to choose”; “watching the signs along the way” and “we start out walking but learn to run”.

Philippians 1:6 states Being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.” (NIV).  Therefore, whatever dreams, ideas, projects and the like that God has given to you; (yes, God gave you the thought…you just didn’t conjure it up in your mind!) … He will make available the proper conditions for them to be manifested.  Your current circumstances really don’t matter!  You still have a lot to accomplish.  There are still so many accomplishments for you to achieve….. You’ve only just begun!

Many times we have said that we are waiting on God….but that’s just an excuse whose expiration date is has long past!  Begin TODAY by dusting off that area of your mind that is holding the padlock to every “good work” that has been initiated.  Don’t be concerned about what you are lacking.   Our Jehovah Jireh will provide!

As the lyrics of the song state: We’ve Only Just Begun.

“So many roads to choose”. In reference to this I’ll say….   But as of today; pick one and abide therein.

Watching the signs along our way”.   It is imperative that you stay alert in the realm of the Spirit; God will always give you the proper signs and direct your path.

We start out walking and learn to run”.  Yes… and now is that time when we need to pick up our pace and swiftly be about our Father’s business.

It doesn’t matter how many achievements you’ve already attained.  It doesn’t matter how many  areas appear to present  a “lack or deficiency”.  Whatever excuse you may use… doesn’t substantiate the fact that your future still holds a treasure chest of jewels….waiting to be discovered.

The ball is in your court!  Your future has no limits or boundaries….except those that you establish within the framework of your own mind!   God wants to use you far beyond what you can ever imagine (Ephesians 3:20).

Today is the beginning of your first day of the rest of your life….

And remember…….  You’ve Only Just Begun!!!!

Joy Produces Strength

Joy Produces Strength!

Read Psalm 43 and Nehemiah 8

“……...This day is sacred to our Lord. Do not grieve, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.”

                                                                                                                                 Nehemiah 8:10

Today, Lord may I begin to comprehend that you ARE my joy.   May I realize that my mind must be renewed to the concept, that my ability to remain joyful (full of joy) in the midst of adversity, is one of the battles that must be won.  Consequently, Lord I will totally understand that you and you alone are the nucleus of my joy.  Everything that is necessary for my “JOY” has its basis, its focus and its core emanating from you Lord.

Therefore today I invite you, Holy Spirit to infiltrate my mind, and to release me from every thought pattern that is not God ordained ……. thus permitting me to remain joyful throughout this day.  I decree that I will not allow any circumstance that may arise today cause me to lose my focus.  May I always remain cognizant that joy is not an emotion –but a mindset.

So I thank you now, for your guidance, your direction and the provision of your “joy” - that will be required for this day.  May the joy that you bring empower me and offer to me the foundation which is vital concerning my ability to stand strong today and always.  May I not be a partaker nor the recipient of anything that will allow my mind to wander….. Thus causing ME to surrender my joyous state.  Because I am in control of my thoughts – I choose to focus on only what will bring: joy, peace and happiness.  May I KNOW that because I do have the JOY of the Holy Ghost – no demonic force has the power nor the authority to steal it.

May I never forget that my happiness will ALWAYS be short lived and temporal; simply because it is based upon the things which are “HAPPENING” around me ….. and they are ever-changing. However my joy is seated in my spirit and released through my mind…. And is eternal…..If  “I”  permit it to be so.  Since JOY is a part of the fruit of the Spirit; its charter qualities are eternal.  Therefore the manifestation of joy in my life is a CHOICE that I can determine.

May I continue to reflect on the strength and encouragement of our patriots who walked by faith as they sang:

“This joy that I have, the world didn’t give it and the world can’t take it away.”

Joy produces a Mindset of Strength,

Strength produces a Mindset of Power,

Power produces a Mindset of Victory!

So….Keep your mind focused….. and Walk in VICTORY!!!!!!

What is F.A. I. T. H.?

What Is F. A. I. T. H.?

Note: The word faith is one of those interchangeable words which can be communicated as a noun or a verb.

There is one element that we must possess if we are going to walk in obedience to God.  This is verified in Hebrews 11:6; “But without FAITH it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him”.                       .

Faith involves vision.   Proverbs 29:18a states: “Where there is no vision, the people perish:”

Therefore if we are going to please God; and walk with a purpose – we must exercise faith which is expressed through vision.

One of the goals of the enemy is to get us to doubt the promises of God – and not walk by faith; or/and to have no outlook for the future; no vision.

Therefore to make certain that we continue to walk in our God given vision we must view faith as our: Firm, Assurance, In, Trials & Hardships.

So when I have faith in God; I am able to have the faith of God. When I have the faith in God and the faith of God; He IS my “FIRM ASSURANCE IN TRIALS & HARDSHIPS”!

It should matter not what we may encounter in a given day; if we allow God to be our F.A.I.T.H. we will have the ability to work through every phase of our vision.  We must never forget that the enemy has launched every diabolical plot, plan and scheme for our demise.  However, without regards to anything that he proposes – we have the ultimate victory!  Whatever he does, we must have the firm assurance that he is no match for us –when we stand in the Lord.

If we are going to stand as the victorious warriors that we are; we must daily “gear up” with our spiritual weapons. Now is not the time to become weary in your well doing. Remember your battle may be long – but the key to your endurance is to have F. A. I. T. H. ; express F.A.I.T.H. and above all, to tell others about your “FIRM ASSURANCE IN TRIALS & HARDSHIPS”!

And they overcame ……… .by the word of their testimony;” Revelation 12:11

The Lord Is Listening -But

There’s a Missing Voice!

“… let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name.”  Hebrews 13:15

Have you ever been in a location and heard the voice of someone call your name?  Without even turning around – you knew exactly who it was.   It didn’t matter how many other people were there, when that familiar voice called out to you – you heard it….and you knew who it was.

Today God is saying there is a voice missing.  He is saying, “When I listen to the praises of my people..  there’s a voice missing.   When discussions are being held concerning the leading and guiding of spiritual and secular matters… there’s a voice missing.  At the beginning of each new day that I’ve given to you…and my children are offering up a voice of thanksgiving…..  there’s a voice missing.  In the middle of the day, I’ve been waiting… but there’s still a voice missing.  Then at the end of the day; after I’ve taken you successfully through and carefully guided you around every “landmine” that the enemy had waiting to destroy you; I’ve listened…. But still there’s a voice missing.”

Are you that missing voice?  Is your voice the very one that the Lord is longing to hear not only in a devotional time, but in; your home, your school, or on your job?  How about in the mall or at your favorite restaurant?   How about in your neighborhood? Have you been strategically positioned by God in various places because YOU have the voice that’s needed…. But still you refused to use your voice for Him?

The Lord needs us to verbally acknowledge Him more that we have in the past.  As we actually express to Him verbally throughout the day, our feelings of not only gratitude, but of love and adoration – then we will begin to notice that He will be able to more adequately direct and govern our day.

Your voice, your spoken word, has the power to do exceedingly and abundantly more than you could ever imagine.  However, if you don’t release it – it’s useless!  Death and life ARE in the power of YOUR tongue.

Don’t permit the enemy to gain any more ground because your voice is that missing voice!

Be Bold… Be Confident… Be Courageous…. and Be Heard!

Did You Know That You Still Have

Untapped Potential?

…. eye has not seen and ear has not heard and has not entered into the heart of man, [all that] God has prepared (made and keeps ready) for those who love Him [who hold Him in affectionate reverence, promptly obeying Him and gratefully recognizing the benefits He has bestowed]. Yet to us God has unveiled and revealed them by and through His Spirit, for the [Holy] Spirit searches diligently, exploring and examining everything, even sounding the profound and bottomless things of God [the divine counsels and things hidden and beyond man’s scrutiny]. ”                                 I Corinthians 2:9 & 10 (Amplified Version)

Have you ever searched franticly for something only to discover that is was in the first place that you looked?   Much to your dismay and frustration - the item had been in the place where you had left it – just sitting there waiting to be discovered.  Or maybe in your search to find something, you may have even covered it up while searching for it, making it even more undiscoverable.  Then, when you finally stopped, and settled down – you found with ease all that as previously not seen?

Studies have revealed that while 100% of our brain is functioning; most people don’t use the entire 100% to its fullest capacity.  So in the natural…….so in the realm of the spirit.  God has, before the foundation of the world, placed on the inside of you everything that is needed for you to excel in this world.  As he told the prophet Jeremiah: “Before I formed you in the womb of your mother I know you, and set you apart to be a prophet to the nations.” (Jeremiah 1:5)

Are you looking for something which God has already placed on the inside of you?  God has given to us the potential and the ability to excel in every area of life.  We have at our disposal access to the governing forces of this world!  We have at our disposal the ability to voice a command and to bring into alignment everything that is out of order!  God has given to us the advantage of being an heir and a joint heir with His Son! (Romans 8:16-18)  Have you really ever grasped the essence and significance of that statement?  That means that whatever Christ did – I have the permission to do likewise. I even get to further advance and operate with a greater magnitude than He! (John 14:12)

However, many times, because we haven’t fully understood this perception – we go through life functioning and operating from a position of inferiority instead of superiority!  We aren’t aware of whom we are …. more less, of whose we really are.  And what’s even worst, we have no clue of the potential within us that’s lying dormant.  Your physical characteristics and achievements (nor the lack of them!) can’t alter the fact that you still have lying within you untapped potential.

It has been often stated that the cemetery is the richest place that there is. Why? Because millions of people die and take with them unspoken wisdom, undiscovered inventions, unwritten books,… and a plethora of unexposed and untapped potential!  For whatever the reason, people have passed on, and they have never made a significant withdrawal from their internal bank!

Whenever we become aware of something – it then becomes our responsibility to make the necessary amendments.  Therefore – from this point forward, you will be held accountable for your diligent actions concerning the discovery of your untapped potential.

Remember – roots run deep.  Whenever we see a plant… it is anchored by the root system.  We can’t see the roots from the surface (normally).   Nevertheless, they are present and hidden deep within the dirt!   Therefore, in comparison; whatever you can see of yourself, is only a representation of what is on the inside of you.  Without regards to what you’ve already accomplished – there is still untapped potential within you! God has made you and He is the only one who truly knows your full potential.  Ask Him to reveal to you your areas of untapped potential.  Then seek Him for the wisdom to gain access to, and to activate those areas.  Time is running out – but you still have time to get the ball rolling!

Be determined that you won’t allow the enemy to use this strategic maneuver (untapped potential) any longer to in your life.  Be bold and very courageous! (Joshua 1:9)

The best is truly yet to come… and YOU play a vital role in your advancement!

Three Words That Ensure  Your Advancement:

Encourage, Enlighten, Empowered

“Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus….” Philippians 2:5a

During my prayer time one morning, I heard these three words: encourage, enlighten and empowered.   The Lord has said that in this season; if we can embrace the essence of these words…..  permitting their meanings to become as one anchor… we will obtain the ability to stand firmly in any situation and enter into an advanced dimension.

First, I must learn how to truly encourage myself….as David did (I Samuel 30:6). Because of the rapid occurrence of events in the realm of the spirit and in the natural; unless we establish a pattern of daily renewing our minds with the Word of God; depression, oppression, confusion, distrust and the like will attempt to take residence within our minds.  Therefore, we must not allow our attentions to wander, nor our allegiance to the Lord to become altered.  We must maintain an attitude of gratefulness.  Remember to speak over yourself and encourage yourself …..REGARDLESS!

Next, we must daily seek to educate ourselves concerning some subject. Enlarge the territory of your mind! (I Chronicles 4:9 & 10).   Never let a day end without having learning something new.  Be determined that you will learn at least one new thing every day.  When we don’t actively use our minds, because of the inactivity of certain brain cells; we have opened the door to various psychological disorders.  To become enlightened concerning any subject on a daily basis only requires one key element…. Discipline!

Lastly, I must remember that I have already been empowered to accomplish EVERY task that I may encounter.   I must declare that I will triumph in every situation!  (II Corinthians 2:14). God has given to me the power and the authority to successfully triumph in every situation.  However… when I am uncertain concerning this decree; I will permit the enemy to make me think that he has the upper hand.  We have the power…we have already been empowered.  Therefore, we must stand in the midst of any and every situation……commanding it to come into an alignment with what the Lord has said.  Our dilemmas don’t surface because of a lack of power… we have already been empowered!   The restraint on the manifestation of our power could very well be a result of: ungodly fear; a lack of wisdom; a lack of correct information or an improper application of the same.

Therefore, if I encourage myself; become more enlighten; and walk in the empowered state that the Lord has already given unto me…..I can’t be defeated!  When my mind has truly been renewed to this position…… and I used these words as my foundation…… then I have become that feared individual that the enemy’s camp so dreads!!!

“The beginning of wisdom is this: Get wisdom, and whatever you get, get insight.” Proverbs 4:7 (ESV)

Leaders! Be Authentic

LEADERS! Be Authentic!

Don’t Be An Imposter!

“You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot.”

St. Matthew 5:13

There are two substances, which many of us normally experience some type of interaction with on a regular basis.  Although from a distance, one could be mistaken for the other – however, their molecular composition is quite different.

The two substances in question are: table salt and sugar.  While both have the ability when viewed by the natural eye, to share certain characteristics in appearance, color, and shape – the substitution of one for the other would prove to provide catastrophic results!  Both are solvable in hot liquids; yet, one would never desire to add a teaspoon of salt instead of a teaspoon of sugar to their favorite morning mug.  Disastrous result would occur.  On the other hand, if one attempted to use sugar as a preservative – devastation and ruinous effects would be inevitable.

When we refer to our reference scripture, we can observe that Jesus informed his disciples that they were to be the salt of the earth.  Ye are the salt of the earth.  What exactly is the implication of this statement?  Jesus was informing His disciples of the power and the authority that they possessed.  He was using a substance that they were very familiar with…. Salt.  They were neither privy to nor equipped with the modern mechanics or mechanisms of our current era.  Salt was to them the common commodity - containing the multi-faceted ability to serve numerous capacities. Therefore for Jesus to use this analogy, the implication of its impact on the minds of the disciples was extremely enlightening!  Jesus was informing them that they had been entrusted with the ability to bring to the earth every quality that they knew was common to salt.  In essence, they were to bring to the earth Purification, Preservation, and Protection.

In our society, we have too many Leaders who possess the delicate character qualities of the simplistic nature of sugar, rather than those characteristics which are common to the complex durability of salt.  We are faced with the consequences of Leaders who are imposters!  Leaders who desire to display their ecclesiastical titles and the like instead of possessing and exemplifying the fruit of the spirit – IMPOSTERS!  Leaders who are displaying and living undisciplined and ungodly lifestyles – IMPOSTERS!  Leaders who are not attempting to aggressively seek the face of God on a daily basis – IMPOSTERS!  …. And what is even more damaging are those leaders who are confusing others by adding a stamp of approval to compromise – IMPOSTERS!

If we are going to equip the body of Christ with the tools necessary to be salt rather than sugar, we must be the first partakers.  Leaders we must stand up for and adhere to those guidelines for righteous living that are ascribed in our Holy Bible.  It matters not what our judicial system dictates or deems correct.  If their statements are in contradiction with the Word of God – we are to obey God.

Leaders - Stand Up for the Word of God….Trust the authority of God…… and above all don’t compromise or negate your mandate to be the true SALT and not SUGAR.

                                                    NO MORE IMPOSTERS!!!!!

“And now, Lord, what wait I for? my hope is in thee.”  Psalm 39:7

I must always remember that:   God is committed; (via His promises) - TO me.

He has made a covenant - WITH me.

His love has provided a covering - FOR me.

Therefore when I understand the word HOPE – I can affirm that I Am:

   Holding on – Optimistically Pressing….Expecting!

To further explain:

H Holding on

I’m Affixing ….with the tenacity and the grip of a mad bulldog; my every desire, concern and

request to the alignment of God’s word.

“Therefore be ye steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord”

                 I Corinthians 15:58

O - Optimistically

I’m remaining confident.  Refusing to permit fear, doubt and unbelief intervene.  I’m not speaking any negative words… nor permitting anyone else to clutter my space with the same.

“And this is the confidence that we have in Him….” I John 5:14

P - Pressing

I’m pursuing; pushing through and against every obstacle that is attempting to cause me to disbelieve the promises of God.

“And we pull down reasonings and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God, and we take all minds prisoner to the obedience of The Messiah.”  2 Corinthians 10:5

  E Expecting

I’m awaiting; believing; and in excited anticipation of something that I haven’t seen the

         manifestation of – yet.

“We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair”.

                  2 Corinthians 4:8

So, it doesn’t matter how the circumstances may appear; nor the opinions of others nor the evidence which is stacked against me……

“I am Holding on, Optimistically, Pressing…Expecting” God to bring into manifest the benefits of every seed that I’ve sown, which is ready to be harvested.

“I am Holding on, Optimistically, Pressing…Expecting” to see a change in the lives of my unsaved and uncommitted loved ones - in response to the prayers that have been prayed on their behalf.

“I am Holding on, Optimistically, Pressing…Expecting” God to use me in a fashion that I have not previously known.

Lastly, “I am Holding on, Optimistically, Pressing…Expecting” God to do exceedingly and abundantly above all that I could ever ask, think, or imagine……and to do it through His power that is at work within me!

And HOPE maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.  Romans 5:5

Get on your mark......

Get On your mark……Get set……WAIT!

But those who trust in the Lord will find their strength renewed.  They will rise on wings like eagles; they will run and not get weary; they will walk and not grow weak. Isaiah 40:31 (GNT)

The waiting game!  For many of us, life seems to have given us a first class seat in this section of time called “waiting”.  We seem to always think that we are ready to advance to our NEXT place.  We seem to think that we are focused and in the correct lane….that we are disciplined and in the correct position ….yet we still haven’t heard the correct sound that signals us to move forward……so we WAIT.

Waiting is a word that’s familiar to everyone – across the board.  From the youngest infant to the oldest adult: the rich, the wealthy, the poor, the educated and unlearned – everyone has had their dealings and experiences with this period of time called “waiting”.

Although we don’t always view it as so, when we are waiting, we are actually saying, “I haven’t given up….. I’m still anticipating that something is going to happen”.

So as we wait in the physical realm, in the realm of the spirit we must remain:

W - Watchful.  Maintain your attentiveness; stay on the lookout.  Don’t fall asleep! (I Peter 5:8)

A -  Active.  Remain active!  Mark time if you must – but do something! Don’t permit your spirit to become lazy, lethargic or discouraged.  (Proverbs 6:6)

I  -   Imaginative.  Never allow your creative abilities to cease.  There are still new inventions to be discovered!  Just because you are waiting in one area doesn’t mean that

you can’t progress in other areas.  (I Corinthians 2:9)

T – Truthful .  Continue to uphold your level of integrity in word and in deed.  Don’t begin to  lower your standards nor your expectations just to simplify matters or to appease

yourself or others.   (II Corinthians 8:21)

Against popular belief… the waiting game does have its positive aspects.  However, it’s our decisions, our expectations (or the lack of them!), and our creative ability that will permit us to use this time of waiting to our advantage.

So, relax….make a lemon smoothie from the lemons rather than attempting to drink their natural juice and complain about its tartness…. And enjoy where you are…. For now.

Settle Your Spirit,,,,

Settle Your Spirit….

Have Patience in the Hallway

Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer. Romans 12:12

There are times when God has chosen to display His attribute of “silence”.  Now, although this character quality isn’t listed or written in any of the information concerning our Father; if you know Him to any extent; you can identify this as one of His traits!

So, what have you personally learned from God’s silence?  I have discovered that when we are in the “hallway” God chooses to test our ability to find our way to the next room.   When one door is nailed shut…. And we are waiting for another to open – we are in the “hallway”.    When we have difficult decisions to make and God is silent – we’re in the “hallway”.  When you’ve fasted, you’ve prayed and you’ve sown your seed for your need…. Yet God is silent…. You’re in the “hallway”…. Despite your cries and pleas….. God is STILL not saying a word!  And, the dilemma that intensifies our agony is the fact that we have no doubt that God CAN move in an instant!  So what’s happening? Why isn’t God moving…. Or at least saying SOMETHING?

It is in these times that we must realize that God is attempting to mature us and teach us how to PATIENTLY trust His word – even when we don’t hear His voice.  He is attempting to elevate us to our next place in Him.   In other words when we find ourselves in the hallway; we should immediately realize that we’re being tested.  God has placed us in a “proving ground” to enlighten us, and to inform our enemy of our growth since our last visit to the “hallway”.  We are daily growing and advancing to new heights in the Lord.  Yet these increases are internal; can’t be seen – but can be shown.  So what other way can our adversary know that we’ve grown in the Lord, except by the fact that when he tempts us with prior weaknesses ….and we don’t yield as we previously would have?

Therefore, as I’ve often said, “Don’t expect God to answer you when you’re being tested – because the teacher never talks during a test.”  God knows all things, so our testing isn’t to reveal to Him information that He isn’t aware of.  Our testings are for us...and the adversary.

How do we learn to be patient in the hallway?

1. By openly acknowledging that God loves me and IS working all things for my good.  (Romans 8:28)

2. Finding a scripture to use as a focal point of strength and encouragement.  Read it regularly throughout the day. (Philippians 4:13)

3. Refuse to speak doubt filled, fear related words.  (Proverbs 18:21)

4. Remember that you will not progress to your next level until you’ve passed the hallway test.  (God doesn’t have a “No child left behind policy”!) Therefore, you will repeat this same test; year after year … until you can walk through the hallway; without pacing and wring your hands; without telling everyone that you’ re “going through & to pray for you”!  Now is the time to give God a “crazy” praise!  No tantrums….. But maturely and patiently walking to the next door, and waiting for God to open! (Psalm 34:1)

So when God is silent, stand on what you know about Him.  Don’t permit the enemy to make YOU further delay the process by focusing on your “hallway” conditions.  Remember.. in the natural, things appear quite differently than they really are.  Never permit your faith in God to waver – regardless.  If we would begin to stand on the promises of God in the difficult situations, then we would realize that when we are in the hallway, that’s the prime time to sow seeds of encouragement to others.  Although doubt and fear will definitely  attempt to discourage you –  be determined that you will rest in the comfort of your knowledge of our omniscient, omnipotent Father ….and His promises to never leave nor forsake you.

(Faith + Trust+ Hope) – (Fear, Doubt, Unbelief) = PATIENCE!

But if we hope for what we do not see, we wait for it with patience.” Romans 8:25 ESV

Praise God….Now?  Are You Serious?!!

…….when the people gave a loud shout, the wall collapsed;……  Joshua 6:20

When do you feel is the best time to praise the Lord?  Well, believe it or not….your response to that question will reveal the level of your spiritual maturity!  Far too often our focus in difficult situations is geared towards the incorrect focal point.  In the times of adversity, we permit that dynamic trio; fear, doubt and unbelief, to make their grand appearance….Even returning for a curtain call!

We must always and alway (no “s”); remember that God has already – prior to the onset of our uncanny situations; made available to us the most powerful weapon that has ever existed.  Every living creature is equipped with this weapon.  Although, because many people use this weapon incorrectly its effectiveness is greatly diminished.  The weapon in question is our mouth.  With one’s mouth and its ability of articulation; we can declare the victory or defeat of an entire nation.  The Bible verifies such in Proverbs 18:21, by stating that death and life are in the power of the tongue.

So back to the original question…. What’s the best time to praise God?   Well…When we obtain the ability to grasp the totality of God’s love for us – then we will be able to do a Psalm 34:1….and bless the Lord at all times.   We will understand that regardless to our current circumstances; He is only perfecting and grooming us into who He created us to be.

So in the midst of every adverse occurrence; at the onset of every contrary wind; in the heat of every battle; and when you feel as though conditions couldn’t possibly get any worst…… these are the ideal times to open up your mouth and to give your God some praise!  We must never forget that the enemy’s game plan is to cause us to focus more on what we can see with our physical eye….. (which is temporal and subject to change);…than on the promises of God (which are eternal & immutable)

Now, there is a method by which we will be able to maintain our focus in the midst of the chaos.  We must daily fortify, strengthen, and intensify our spirit man.  We must reprogram our actions.  We must in the times which are less stressful, reinforce our minds with positive confessions and prepare for the next attack…. Because it will come!  We all have heard someone blurt out a few “profane” words when they’ve become stressed or overwhelmed.  That same mouth can be trained and that mind disciplined to understand that God is yet working out EVERYTHING for our good.  Therefore instead of cursing – we would be praising!

Lastly, remember that we are to praise God “IN” all things… not necessarily “FOR” all things. Praise is the weapon that is readily accessible to us and can travel with us wherever we desire it to.  Praise is that weapon that totally confuses the enemy…. And above all praise is that weapon that acknowledges that God is still in control and that He is never going to leave me nor forsake me.

In my former church, used to sing a song entitled “Hallelujah Anyhow”.  The song tells us to hold our heads up high when life’s troubles come our way …. and say “Hallelujah Anyhow.  Another song was “Give Him The Praise”.  The refrain (or the vamp) said, “In the good times, praise His name, in the bad times do the same; in EVERYTHING, He’s the King of Kings; so give Him the praise.  Although they might not have realized it, but as the older saints sang those songs – they were instilling in their minds; and aligning their spirits, with the foundational principles which are required to successfully defeat every adverse situation.   They knew that the time to shout the greatest was in the midst of the battle – and not just at the end.

So… when you think… “Oh I just can’t praise God now”.  Yes…. I’m serious….. that is the very time when you MUST open your mouth and acknowledge Him to be the Lord of Lords.

When you are in the midst of a seemingly unbearable, unconquerable situation….Open your mouth and PRAISE The LORD!

When you have been disappointed….. Open your mouth and PRAISE The LORD!

When you are feeling disgusted or frustrated…… Open your mouth and PRAISE The LORD!

When you have been betrayed….. Open your mouth and PRAISE The LORD!

When sickness seems as though it just wants to plague your body and cause it not to come into an alignment with the Word of God……. Open your mouth and PRAISE The LORD!

WHY????  Because your praise will confuse the enemy…. And validate to him that you are still trusting in the Lord….REGARDLESS.  You are reminding the enemy that every diabolical occurrence that he has thrown/ or is throwing your way doesn’t have the power nor the authority to prosper (Isaiah 54:17)! ….And you are reminding the enemy and all of his cohorts that he and they can’t steal your praise!

So …. at the very time when it would seem the most inopportune – GIVE GOD THE PRAISE…. And watch your walls begin to collapse!!!

Identity Crisis

Identity Crisis

“But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a dedicated nation, [God’s] own purchased, special people, that you may set forth the wonderful deeds and display the virtues and perfections of Him Who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.  I Peter 2:9 AMP

Today, if we were to take a poll; we would discover that far too many people who profess to believe the Bible to be God’s unadulterated Word; don’t fully comprehend its total message.   Therefore as a result, the entire world is suffering and operating at a level which is inferior or subordinate to its ultimate ability.

We, the body of Christ, appear to be impaired by not knowing the power nor the authority that we possess. We have been limited in our abilities simply because we don’t know who we really are.  In others words we have been inhibited by an Identity Crisis.

An identity crisis can occur when a person, or a group of people fail to recognize their innate characteristics and proceed to function from a position of their mental comprehension.  Their lives are governed from the sensory ream instead of the spiritual ream. As a result, those people who are supposed to be displaying the superior characteristics of the head; are exhibiting the inferior features of the tail.  Those who are called to be that light which shines so brightly in EVERY situation or circumstance; attempt to blend into this world and its customs, ideologies, and methodologies.  Therefore, WE have hindered ourselves simply because …as Hosea expresses; we have a lack of knowledge of who we are…. And we are being destroyed!

I would like to challenge you today to think, walk and talk “outside of your box”.  God has begun to catapult us into our wealthy places.  He has begun to permit the return… with interest… of all that we have lost.  However, unless we break this mold of the Identity Crisis; we will not have the ability to maintain our returns.  Refuse to walk in the footprints of yesterday.  Be determined to advance your current status daily.   Change something, enhance your vocabulary and increase yourself in some capacity daily.  Seek the wisdom of the Holy Ghost for guidance.  Remember, God has a great work for YOU to accomplish. However, you must begin to suffer no longer from the effects of an Identity Crisis; but walk as God’s authoritative voice in the earth…. Knowing who you are and whose you are!

It's A Control Issue

It’s A Control Issue

Who’s REALLY in Control???

“…But He endured the cross” Hebrews 12:2

In a previous post, I briefly mentioned a powerful trio that I stated we would see again.  I’ve discovered that the implementation of this trio is one of the keys that will unlock the door to success in every arena.  The three words in question which compose the trio are: Patience, Focus and Endurance. I would like to encourage you to research these words, apply their meanings to your everyday life, and you will observe a vast difference.

One of the areas where a number of people need the most developing is patience.  We have a tendency to stand beside a microwave and become disturbed that it’s taking too long!  I would even dare to say that most of the adversities that we have encountered have been because we have attempted to advance at the incorrect time.  We became like Sarah and Abraham (Genesis 16)….and produced an Ismael!    Patience = Trust.  The display of patience (or the lack of it) is an outward indication of our inward countenance.  Who’s really in control?  If the correct person is in control – we can do as David did and wait on the Lord (Psalm 40:1).

However, as I wait – I must not lose sight of where I’m going. I must remain FOCUSED!! Regardless of any detour signs, apparent road blocks, potholes, and bumps along the way – I must stay focused!  I must remember that all of these have been assigned to me because the enemy is trying to distract me….and God is attempting to advance me to my next place.  However, if I can’t maintain my focus now – why should I be given more?  So I ask the question again…. Who’s really in control?   My ability to remain focused in the midst of chaotic situations will tell the story!  (Philippians 3:14)

Endurance! The word alone informs me that I’m going to meet opposition. My ability to reach my goal is contingent upon my ability to remember that I’m not running a “50 yard dash”!  I must learn to “pace” myself, not become overwhelmed and never quit. Our race is long, our journey through high mountains, and low terrains.  Alone – but not lonely.  Difficult but not impossible.  Who’s really in control?  Your ability to endure – as a good soldier – will reveal the answer. (II Timothy 2:3)

These three words when properly applied, will allow us to be anchored in, and to discover God’s true design for our lives.  The strength of my durability (endurance) relies on my ability to not become frustrated (patience) and to keep my eye on my God’s appointed destination (focus) for me.

So, it’s truly a control issue.  How did Christ endure all that He encountered?  It was because He KNEW that His Father was really in control of His life and that the outcome of every situation would bring His Father glory (Romans 8:28).

Who is really governing the control center of your mind as you make the decisions concerning your daily life? Do you…without a shadow of a doubt even KNOW who’s really in control of your life?

As the saying states; “Actions speak louder than words.”  Again I ask the question;
Who is really controlling your life?………..Your reactions during your next seemingly impossible situation, your reactions when faced adversity, your reactions when: betrayed, falsely accused, or ridiculed; will surely reveal the true “Chief Commanding Officer”.

Remember:  your ability to remain patient, to focus and to endure….  will reveal the truth!

Victory Banners.....
or
Invisible Scars
“Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort; Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.”                                                              II Corinthians 1:3&4
When we usually refer to scars, our minds tend to envision some type of mark on the surface of our skin which has resulted from an injury.  Scars can also occur as the result of: surgical procedures, burns, acne and from some diseases (like chickenpox).  Whatever initiated the problem, the fact still remains that there was an abnormal break in or trauma to the skin, which then healed, and now a scar has formed.

We all bear scars.  However, some of the scars that we have “earned” can’t be seen.   There are those which have resulted from injuries which have occurred to and affected our hearts and our minds.  Invisible scars.  When we have scars on our skin, we can see them and then we can understand, why we react the way that we do to certain stimuli or in certain situations.  However, when we have invisible scars; in many instances, we aren’t even aware of the fact that they exist!

Scars are constant reminders of yesterday.   Yet, if I can’t “see” the scars, (and I don’t know how to spiritually discern and analyze them) I may not understand my reactions in certain situations.

No one can bear a scar from an incident that has not yet transpired. Therefore, my scars are those connectors to my past, which reveal areas where the skin was once sensitive and pain once occurred.  Some scars are permanent.  Yet, when the skin under the scar has healed – there is no more pain in that area.  Although the scar may remain – the pain is gone.

So it must be with our invisible scars.  Many incidents may have left permanent scars on our minds and in our hearts.  However, we must allow the Holy Spirit to bring healing to our total being – body, mind and spirit.  We can no longer allow our past hurts, failures, disappoints, etc. to remain “open sores” in our lives.  We may not have any control over the healing process that occurs in and on our skin.  However, we do have the ability to advance or delay the healing process of our inner being.

Ask the Holy Spirit to reveal to you any areas where your invisible scars haven’t completely healed and remain to be like an “oozing wound”.

Invisible scars, once healed can and should be used as victory banners to wave to others – proclaiming the faithfulness of the Lord.  They will also be reminders to us of God’s power to bring healing to those areas which at one time only yielded total despair and devastation.  Scars may remain – but the pain MUST subside….and vanish!

“All praise to the God and Father of our Master, Jesus the Messiah! Father of all mercy! God of all healing counsel! He comes alongside us when we go through hard times, and before you know it, he brings us alongside someone else who is going through hard times so that we can be there for that person just as God was there for us. We have plenty of hard times that come from following the Messiah, but no more so than the good times of his healing comfort—we get a full measure of that, too.”  II Corinthians 1:3-5 (The Message Bible)

Which Quality Does Your Life Portray

A Lighthouse or “Lite” House?

“The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.”  John 1:5

The light within the lighthouse is always shining.  However, its light is only visible when there is an absence of; or a limited availability of sunlight.   Sailors would often rely on the lighthouse for various reasons.  Perhaps as a ray of hope or as a focal point to guide them or to warn them of dangerous conditions at night or when the weather was cloudy and visibility wasn’t  too great.  So, although the light from a lighthouse would shine just as brightly in the day; its light was totally irrelevant…until darkness appeared.

We have been called to be the lighthouse for the world today.  The unsaved can be compared to a sailor who is lost at sea …in the dark.  They, the world, are wandering around looking and hoping to find some refuge and comfort for their minds.  They are looking for answers.

The dilemma is this; instead of those who are called to be the lighthouses, standing as the lighthouse; far too often, we stand as a “Lite” house.  The word lite refers to something which contains a low or lesser amount of a substance than the original item.  Therefore a lite house would not contain the power to withstand the storms of life; and would therefore succumb to the pressures of this world.  A lite house is one who professes Christ with their mouth; but their works and lifestyle example a completely different revelation.

Consider the following:

  • A person who exemplifies the qualities of a lighthouse will stand in faith believing in the promises of God.  However, the person who is  a lite house will give in and think that God won’t fulfill His promises.
  • A person who exemplifies the qualities of lighthouse will continue to pay their tithes and offerings regardless to their circumstances.  However a lite house will make excuses and stop when financial problems arise.
  • A person possessing the qualities of a lighthouse will have the ability to stand and to be a bold, living witness for the Lord without regards to their surroundings or to the circumstances.  However, a lite house will lack the boldness, stamina and loyalty to God which is required be a to living example in every situation.
  • A person who mirrors a lighthouse is one who will have to realize that they are called to stand alone, above the crowd, and to be “in” this world; but not “of” this world.  While a  lite house will lack the maturity and the devotion to the Lord to resist the pleasures and mindsets of this world.

And the list could continue.  However we must remember that the Lord needs us to stand in these last days and to be true lighthouses for Him.  The darker the night the brighter the light.  In other words…. as this world becomes darker and more of the endtime diabolical plans of the enemy are daily released; we, the true lighthouses must shine brighter.

Lastly, we must remember, that if our lights are to be seen…. We must be willing to be in the midst of the darkness… and yet shine!

(Note: those of you who know me, know that I’m old school and love a good hymn every now  and again! This one I remember from my childhood.)

Let the Lower Lights Be Burning

Lyrics By Philip Bliss

Verse 1

Brightly beams our Father’s mercy, From His lighthouse evermore,

But to us He gives the keeping, of the lights along the shore.

Refrain:

Let the lower lights be burning! Send a gleam across the wave!

Some poor struggling, fainting seaman… You may rescue, you may save.

Verse 2:

Dark the night of sin has settled, Loud the angry billows roar;

Eager eyes are watching, longing, For the lights along the shore.

Trim your feeble lamp, my brother; Some poor sailor, tempest-tossed,

Trying now to make the harbor, In the darkness may be lost.

Refrain:

Let the lower lights be burning! Send a gleam across the wave!

Some poor struggling, fainting seaman… You may rescue, you may save.

So be determined that you will be a true lighthouse, one who will stand strong and shine the brightest in the midst of every “dark” situation….. And one who will never permit their light to go out!

Don't Be Superficial...

Don’t Be Superficial…….

Don’t Just Read… Absorb & Apply

“And don’t for a minute let this Book of The Revelation be out of mind. Ponder and meditate on it day and night, making sure you practice everything written in it. Then you’ll get where you’re going; then you’ll succeed.”  Joshua 1:8 (The Message Bible)

While studying the Word of God is vital for today's leader, meditation is essential.  Meditation is compared to a form of rumination.  There must be a "chewing" and a digestion of the Word of God if we are to avail ourselves to the embedded power, wisdom and vision that the Lord desires for us.

To obtain a deeper insight into meditation, consider the digestive system of a cow. This same process is applicable to meditation.  The quality of your Christian life and the level of your spiritual maturity will largely be determined by what you think about.   We in America have a saying, "You are what you eat."  Absorption and transformation can begin only after we have masticated the word of God.  This process is initiated through meditation.

Please note, I don't have ANY reference here to transcendental meditation which involves totally clearing your mind, chanting and incantation.  Our reference is solely to spiritual meditation.  Not just any spiritual meditation, but only that of which we seek to gain ALL of our power, strength and insight from God the Father….That which has been demonstrated by Jesus, His Son… and imparted to us through the Holy Spirit …. Period!

We place far too little value on the material that we permit our minds to meditate upon.  We fail to realize that if we think on the things that we have been instructed to think upon (Philippians 4:8); then we will have available to us the discipline to make a positive impact wherever we go.  We are called to be living testimonies. People may hear what we say; but they see what we do. Therefore if our actions are not God motivated – it’s because our minds are not meditating upon the correct information.

Leaders, the revelations that we had obtained "yesterday" are not going to equip us to effectively minister and endure the end time attacks of our adversary today. We must daily meditate on the word of God.  Not for the sake of vain glory, arrogance, nor self-promotion; but for growth, wisdom and endurance.

Meditation is a vital…usually overlooked weapon, that will equip us with the end time strategies and tactics that we MUST have in our arsenal as we continue to stand undefeated against our adversary and every diabolical attack!

“I will meditate on your precepts and fix my eyes on your ways.”

Psalm 119:15 (ESV)

No Need To Worry.....

…No Need to Worry.... You have the Keys

And I tell you, you are [a]Peter [Greek, Petros—a large piece of rock], and on this rock [Greek, petra—a [b]huge rock like Gibraltar] I will build My church, and the gates of Hades (the powers of the [c]infernal region) shall [d]not overpower it [or be strong to its detriment or hold out against it].19 I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; and whatever you bind (declare to be improper and unlawful) on earth [e]must be what is already bound in heaven; and whatever you loose (declare lawful) on earth [f]must be what is already loosed in heaven.

Matthew 16:18 & 19 (AMP)

In our lives today, we are constantly encountering various situations that are not under the jurisdiction of our immediate control.  I’m certain that most of us could establish a never ending list of such.   We must remember that these situations are those which have been permitted and allowed to confront us.  Every obstacle or adverse situation that we encounter in life can be viewed from at least two perspectives. We can view these situations as being presented by the enemy in hopes of opening the door to fear, doubt and unbelief; or these same situations can be perceived as those which have been permitted by the Lord to serve as opportunities where He will gain the ability to reveal His divine guidance, direction and protection.

When we encounter adverse conditions, we must remember that God has given to us keys in the form of His word.  These keys will equip us with an immediate access to His divine intervention.    For example; we have been given the key to unlock the entrance into that area of our mind that still must be renewed concerning ungodly fear.  When we truly unlock our minds and permit them to become freed by comprehending the love of God; we will never again walk under the umbrella of ungodly fear.  This type of fear is often manifested through a spirit of pride.  Why? Because “I” feel as though “I” can/can’t handle or “I” can/can’t control what is occurring.  When I excuse God from the picture, I have diminished, decreased and eradicated the intervention of His divine authority & power.  I have unconsciously decided that my problem or situation is of a greater magnitude than my God!  I have also decided that God’s love isn’t powerful enough to bring me through my current dilemma.

Therefore, it doesn’t matter what I encounter I must make a conscious decision that I won’t worry – nor become fearful, perplexed, confused, or dismayed…simply because I have the keys!

When I observe my spiritual key ring there is a master key labeled “FOCUS”.  I must learn to F.O.C.U.S.

F= “First things first” (Matthew 6:33)

O= Only Believe (mark 9:23)

C= Count & Cast (James 1:2 & I Peter 5:6&7)

U= Unbelief (Mark 9:24)

S= Stand (Ephesians 6:10)

To focus is therefore to: keep first thigs first; only believe the Word of God – nothing else; count it all joy and cast every care on the Lord; uproot unbelief; and lastly STAND on the promises of God!

So, how do I focus in the midst of adversity?

  1. By hiding the Word of God in my heart…. Prior to the onset of negative conditions.
  2. Daily quoting and saying out loud the Word of God.
  3. By refusing to quit!

Whatever adverse situation is presently prevalent or currently existing in your life is only an attempt by the enemy to distract you; to divert your attention; and to challenge your knowledge of the Lord.  However remember….you never have to bow to the lesser authority of worry…. Because you have the master key called FOCUS!

Exchanging My Happiness for Joy

You O Lord are the source of my joy

“El SIMCHATH GILI”

(God my exceeding Joy - Psalm 43:4)

“……...This day is sacred to our Lord. Do not grieve, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.”                                                        Nehemiah 8:10 (Read Psalm 43 and Nehemiah 8)

Today, Lord may I begin to comprehend that You ARE my joy.   May I realize that my mind must be renewed to the concept, that, my ability to remain joyful (full of joy) in the midst of adversity, is one of the battles that must be won.  Consequently Lord, I will totally understand that YOU and You alone are the nucleus of my joy.  Everything that is necessary for my “JOY” has its basis, its focus and its core emanating from You Lord.

Therefore today I invite You, El Simchath Gili to infiltrate my mind, thus permitting me to remain joyful throughout this day.  I will not allow any circumstance that may arise today cause me to lose my focus.   I will exchange and replace every temporal emotion in my mind.  I must realize that, that mindset, has its foundation in happiness – which is based on the “happenings” at any given moment.  Simply because joy is centered in the spirit of man – as I delight myself in You – my spirit will be at peace; and I will obtain the ability to receive all of the benefits of having a joy filled life – regardless.

So I thank You now, El Simchath Gili for Your guidance, direction and the provision of Your “joy”.  The joy that You bring will empower me and offer to me the foundation to stand strong today and always.

Since your word has informed me that joy is a part of the fruit of the spirit; I will seek to produce the same.   I will continue to daily alter or amend my appetite in the realm of the spirit.  I will provide the proper spiritual nourishment which will ensure that the fruit which my spirit produces is not lacking in the area of joy.   I will become more aware of the fact that I must exchange those things which bring happiness with those which bring joy.   As I continue to mature in you; this will become a natural process.

Finally, may I never cease to reflect on the strength and encouragement of our patriots who walked by faith as they sang:

“This joy that I have, the world didn’t give it and the world can’t take it away.”

Walk in Integrity …and Don’t Forget!

And she made a vow, saying, “Lord Almighty, if you will,…… then I will …..”

                                                                                                                      I Samuel 1:11

The Bible has an array of illustrations regarding people who have asked the Lord for something in a time of distress or great demand; vowing to give Him something in exchange for His divine intervention into an adverse situation.  Far too often when we feel as though we are in a dire or a desperate situation, sensibility isn’t weighed – and…. If we don’t remain  focused….. we will pledge to practically anything.  Then, when we begin to “see the light at the end of the tunnel…” we will realize the magnitude or the in-depth nature of the commitment.    That’s when people begin to renege on their pledges. However we must realize that a vow is a vow; a pledge is a pledge.  We seem to forget that we serve an omniscient God who knows our every intent even prior to the thought entering into our minds!

God never, ever forgets His promises to us.  Whatever He has promised will be manifested.  People everywhere are now beginning to attest to this …as God has begun to turn the tables in our favor.   God is now allowing us to receive as soon as – or before we sow (Amos 9:13)!  He is returning to us all that has been: stolen, misappropriated, swindled, or even lost through our own ignorance (Joel 2:25).  The day of restoration IS finally here!  Hallelujah!

However, let’s not forget the vows that we’ve made to the Lord during our “winter seasons”.  It doesn’t matter the type of opposition that you’ve encountered.   The opposition may have been spiritual, emotional, financial or physical.   It doesn’t matter.  Every vow that we’ve uttered unto the Lord must be kept (unless He has released you from it.. which is extremely rare!).

So as the favor of the Lord brings forth the manifestation of good health, wealth, riches and abundance ….. in every area:

Don’t forget to maintain your focus by studying your Word and spending time with the Lord… don’t get distracted!

Don’t forget to pay your tithes & offerings (increasing both!)

Don’t forget to allow humility be your cloak,

Don’t forget to be a giver, but to use wisdom in your giving.

Don’t forget that God has blessed you so that you in return have now obtained that ability to bless someone else.

Don’t forget to make good on your promises to the Lord – without regards to its difficulty or inconvenience.  Whatever it was…  “Just Do It”!

Lastly, don’t forget your promises that were made God…..simply because He will never forget the promises that He has made to you.

Remember: A promise is a promise; integrity is honorable and the true intents of your heart will be revealed by your actions!

“When you vow a vow to God, do not delay paying it, for he has no pleasure in fools. Pay what you vow.”  Ecclesiastes 5:4 ESV

“If you make a vow to the Lord your God, you shall not delay fulfilling it, for the Lord your God will surely require it of you, and you will be guilty of sin”.         Deuteronomy 23:21 ESV

Did You Keep Your Word…. Or Did You Lie Again???

“Are You Still Committed?”

“A winner makes commitment. A loser makes promises.”  (Anonymous)

“Jesus said to him, “No one who puts his hand to the plow and looks back is fit for the kingdom of God.” Luke 9:62 ESV

The Bible has a lot to say about being committed.  If a poll were to be taken, I’m sure that most people would consider themselves to be loyal, devoted, faithful – committed.  However, to be considered as one who has earned the ability to be classified as committed doesn’t come without an extremely high price tag!

Many have declared that this year, they would excel and accomplish more than in previous years.  Whether written or verbally proclaimed and mentally affirmed – many commitments were initiated at the beginning of the year.  We are now in the third quarter of the year; and most of those “commitments” have been diminished to empty promises.  In other words …. We’ve lied ..AGAIN!!!

Luke 9:62 refers to be committed – “And Jesus said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.”   As does Ecclesiastics 5:5; “It is better not to make a vow than to make one and not fulfill it.”  (Only two of many scriptures that deal with commitment.)

So, let’s become committed to be more committed!   In other words, we must – if we are going to maintain our effectiveness; begin to place more value, on the demonstrated displays of those things which the Lord has assigned to us.  Far too often we “pick and choose” our level of commitment and limit it to what we deem important or more convenient.  However, we must remain cognizant of the fact that God doesn’t invest anything in us that is worthless.  He has handpicked, and strategically tailor made the plans for our lives.  He has given to us all so many more giftings and anointings than most of us are permitting to be manifested in our lives.  Now, our job is to become “committed” to the cultivating, grooming and maturing procedures which are required; that will cause every seed within us to begin and continue its growth process.

There is no better time to begin that now.  Many will read this and agree – but will you be one of the ones who will actually be committed enough to change?  It was once spoken that the graveyard contains some of the richest soil.  Why? Because most people die without staying committed enough to their cause to produce the dreams, and aspirations which the Lord has given to them.

To remain committed I must: Change, Obey, Meditate, Mature, Invest, Travail, Trust, Endure and Demand!

Let’s not arrive at the end of next quarter without displaying some sign that we are becoming more committed to producing all that the Lord has entrusted and meticulously placed within us.

When I stand before God at the end of my life, I would hope that I would not have a single bit of talent left, and could say, "I used everything you gave me.” Erma Bombeck

“If a man vows a vow to the Lord, or swears an oath to bind himself by a pledge, he shall not break his word. He shall do according to all that proceeds out of his mouth.” Numbers 30:2
