Day 3 - The Day of Deliverance

Day 3—The Day of Deliverance

Lord you are my ultimate Deliverer

“JEHOVAH MEPHALTI”

(The Lord my Deliverer - Psalm 18:2)

“Surely you shall deliver me from the snare of the fowler and from the noisesome pestilence” Psalm 91:3

Read Psalm 18 & Psalm 91

The Bible displays are least four concepts for the word deliverance.

Briefly: (1) "to deliver out of the hands of..., to escape." We can find this example in the Hebrew word “Natsal” (Strong's #5337)

(2) "drawing someone to one's self." – “Rhuomai” (Strong's #4506)

(3) "to deliver into the hands of...for the purpose of judgment."  -  “Nathan(Strong's #5414)

(4) "to have ample space between oneself and one's enemies." “Yasha” (Strong's #3467)

Therefore today we can stand assured that whatever our need concerning deliverance;  whatever the circumstance; our Jehovah Mephalti is well able to manifest it and fulfill that requirement.  When we combine the four definitions above we can comprehend that our God will not only rescue of His people from the dominion of satan and the world system, but in the process of rescuing and delivering from, He will draw and deliver us unto Himself.  One commentary summarizes the entire deliverance process as:  “To be removed by God from the hand of the enemy and drawn close to Himself, from which position God places us in confrontation with the enemy on God’s own terms, in order for us to gain victory and defeat the enemy, and to experience freedom from oppression in an ample and secure place.”

As I seek you, Jehovah Mephalti today, I ask you to reveal to me the areas in my life where total deliverance has not yet occurred - as well as any obstacles and road blocks that are still preventing me from obtaining my total victory in those areas.

Today I will embrace every concept of deliverance.  I will also never permit my mind to return to its former state.  Therefore, my deliverance will produce to a lifetime of freedom ….never, ever to be bound again.

I decree and declare that it is so…..  In the name of Jesus – Amen.

Day 2 - The Day of JOY

The Day of Joy

You O Lord are the source of my joy

“El SIMCHATH GILI”

(God my exceeding Joy - Psalm 43:4)

“……...This day is sacred to our Lord. Do not grieve, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.”                                                        Nehemiah 8:10

Read Psalm 43 and Nehemiah 8

Today, Lord may I begin to comprehend that you ARE my joy.   May I realize that my mind must be renewed to the concept, that my ability to remain joyful (full of joy) in the midst of adversity, is one of the battles that must be won.  Consequently, Lord I will totally understand that you and you alone are the nucleus of my joy.  Everything that is necessary for my “JOY” has its basis, its focus and its core emanating from you Lord.

Therefore today I invite you, El Simchath Gili to infiltrate my mind, thus permitting me to remain joyful from this day - forward.  I will not allow any circumstance that may arise cause me to lose my focus.

So I thank you now, El Simchath Gili for your guidance, direction and the provision of your “joy” - that will be required for each new day.  May the joy that you bring empower me and offer to me the foundation to stand strong today and always.

May I continue to reflect on the strength and encouragement of our patriots who walked by faith as they sang:

“This joy that I have, the world didn’t give it and the world can’t take it away.”

“… I’ve got the J-O-Y.. Joy of the Holy Ghost; I won’t let the devil steal my joy, I won’t let the devil steal my joy; I won’t let the devil steal my joy; This joy of the Holy Ghost!”

Lastly, may I not misunderstand the concept of happiness and attempt to substitute it for joy.  I must seek to be governed more by the weightier quality of joy – than the temporal “feeling” of happiness.  May I never forget that the feeling of happiness will always be temporary; momentary; based upon the happenings for the moment.  However, joy is not a feeling; but an eternal state of being; thus having the ability to permanently satisfy and to usher in a state of peace – regardless.

Joy, joy, God's great joy ; Joy, joy, down in my soul
Sweet beautiful soul saving joyl Oh joy, joy in my soul (Author unknown)

I decree and declare that it is so…..  In the name of Jesus – Amen.

A Time of Consecration

As I've previously stated; in our ministry one of the times that we embark upon a consecration is at the beginning of January.  This period extends for 21 days during which we daily focus on a different character quality.

Some will be observing the Daniel Fast. Others, various alternative types of fast during this period of consecration.

I would also like to remind you to seek the Lord for the wisdom and the endurance to fulfill every commitment made unto Him.  Far too often we are doing the same things, year after year; same consecrations, same types of fasting etc .  Then we become discouraged when we obtain the same results as in previous times!

Stretch your faith...step up your game.....  place a demand in the realm of the spirit.

*********************************************

Day 1—The Day of Reverence
I reverence you
“JEHOVAH El ELOHIM”
(The Lord God of Gods - Joshua 22:22)
“As the deer pants for flowing streams, so my soul pants for you, O God. “                                                                                          Psalm 42:1

Read Joshua 22 & Psalm 42

Lord, as I reverence you today - I am aware of the fact that diabolical plots, plans and schemes have been emitted from the kingdom of darkness - in an attempt to lessen my reverence for you.  In this dimension, I must therefore continue to create an immutable foundation, which possesses the necessary components, upon which I will maintain a stable platform.  It is essential therefore, if I am going to increase in the depth off my reverence for you, then …………... I MUST “P.A.N.T.”  -
P - Position & Pour - (Psalm 31:5)
Position myself to be used of God, as well as the continual process of pouring out of myself before the Lord.

A - Align -  (Proverbs 3:5; Psalm 51)
Align my entire being (inclusive of my thoughts, actions and motives) to the obedience of everything that God has decreed for ME.

N - Nourish - (II Timothy 2:15)
Discipline myself to the concept of “daily” nourishing my spirit man by the studying and APPLICATION of the same.

T - Turn - (Psalm 101:5; 2 Timothy 2:22)
Turn away from any and everything that doesn't assist in the growth, maturity, or maintenance of my entire being.

So as I begin this 21 day consecration, Lord I openly acknowledge the fact that I will be launched into a position of reverence for you that will place a demand on my faith channels.
Lastly, I will permanently eradicate and no longer tolerant anything that compromises my reverence for you.

I decree and declare that it is so…..  In the name of Jesus – Amen.

The Spirit of Goliath

The Spirit of Goliath

“Your servant has struck down both lions and bears, and this uncircumcised Philistine will be like one of them, since he defied the armies of the living God.” I Samuel 17:36

We, the body of Christ must continually be on guard for the endtime release of familiar spirits.  Although their approach may be enhanced or altered to reflect our current times – the underlying spirit is the same as before.  One of these is the spirit that I’ll call the spirit of Goliath.

This spirit will attempt to taunt, boast, and present an appearance of supreme rule over the body of Christ.  It will attempt to paralyze the body of Christ and to infiltrate our minds with fear, doubt and disbelief.  It will also attempt to challenge, mock and to belittle through repeated verbal proclamations.  Unless this spirit is recognized; we the endtime body of Christ will begin to become subject to and submissive to the boundaries which it will impose.   We will gradually begin to be plagued by thoughts of hopelessness, feel defeated and worry - because of the constant onset of negative situations emulating from this spirit.

However, we have been already been given the “Ability & Authority” capsulized with the wisdom from the Holy Ghost, thus enabling us to conquer every demonic force (Matthew 10:1; Luke 10:19).  The power that engulfed David (I Samuel 17) and empowered him with the wisdom to defeat the lion and the bear had already prepared him to successfully stand and slay Goliath.  We also have defeated our lions (things that have attacked us from the ground) and our bears (attacks which have approached from above).  Therefore we have passed the test and are ready to kill this “Goliath Spirit” without hesitation.

Lastly, we must also remember that in this season, the attacks are geared more to our minds than to any other areas of our being and our lives.  If this or any spirit – other than the Holy Spirit can intervene into our thought patterns for just a brief moment we risk defeat!

The attacks are just beginning and will become more intense in the future.  However we must never forget that– THE BATTLE HAS ALREADY BE WON!  We only have to remain focused, and adhere to our instructions from the Lord concerning the maintenance of our daily walk with Him.  Set you affections, your cares and your attentions more on the things which are above….  Above your present level of operating….Above what you currently think that you are capable of accomplishing.

Remember that the sky isn’t the limit…you have no limit!  In this season, you can achieve anything that you can ask or think! Refuse to become intimidated by anyone or anything.  You ARE more than a conqueror!  So place everything that is contrary to what God has decreed, under the subjection of the power that reigns within you!

Slay that spirit of Goliath at its onset, maintain your focus, keep your affections on Kingdom Principles….and you won’t have to be overly concerned about succumbing to the power of this or any other demonic force.

“Therefore, prepare your minds for action, keep sober in spirit, fix your hope completely on the grace to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ.”  I Peter1:13 NASB

The Voice Of Silence

The Voice of Silence

One of the most rewarding and intimately fulfilling experiences that one can embrace is their relationship with the Lord.  Furthermore, as this bond begins to become more “seasoned”, our fellowship with the Lord transcends the “outer court” experience – and will embrace the natural and mature fellowship - which is characteristic to that of a “holy of holies” occurrence.   Within this dimension, one will learn to truly appreciate their relationship with the Lord.  They will enjoy the conversations with him which are not relative to this realm, but are held “spirit to spirit”.  In other words, these conversations occur on such an accelerated level, that information is transferred more quickly than the brain can receive, process and transmit the words to your mouth! Consequently, you learn that it’s useless to even attempt to speak to Him with your natural mouth.  So you just settle down and allow the “mouth of your spirit” to communicate with the Lord.

One morning, while having one of these conversations, the Lord asked me, “What do you hear?” I responded, “I don’t hear anything”.  Again he said, “What do you hear?”   I replied, “Nothing”.   Then, a third time he asked, “What do you hear?”  Well by now, by this time, I’m thinking about Peter!   I’m thinking… Okay, .I’m really missing something here!  So I waited for a while, then I replied, “I hear silence.”  The Lord replied, “YES!...so you do hear something.  You hear silence.” Then he said, “Now, listen pass the silence.  What do you hear?”  As I listened more intensively, I answered, “I hear conversations”. (Even though the language wasn’t a spoken language that I was familiar with – it seemed as though I could understand exactly what was being transmitted). ….  Yes, he responded, “Always remember that in times of “silence” the enemy is diabolically planning, strategizing, and regrouping.  Therefore, use those times that appear to be silent wisely”.

“Listen”, He said, “For the voice…the Voice in the Silence. The voice that will signify the shift in the wind.  Listen for voice of distractions.  Acknowledge them...but learn not to entertain them.”  He further said, “As you listen to the voice in the silence of the wind, you will be able to distinguish the sounds of the wind.  Listen for the wind within the wind.”

To Listen in the realm of the Spirit……… Is To…..

L = Look and Learn; Look beyond his realm into the multifaceted dimension where God’s sovereign authority is evident. Then LEARN how to walk in the liberty of the Lord. (2 Corinthians 4:18)

I = Ignite Your Expectation (Proverbs 10:28)

S = Settle Your Spirit (Romans 12:1 & 2)

T = Temper Your Mind (Philippians 2:5)

E = Exercise Your Kingdom Authority (Matthew 28:18)

N = Nurture Your Information Received (Matthew 7:6)

As endtime Leaders (and Saints), we must know how to listen...not just for the voice of the Lord, but with a discerning ear for the Voice of Silence.   God has equipped us and established us as His ambassadors to properly discern the times.  Just as he led His people through the wilderness with a cloud and a pillar….He’s still leading us through our endtime wilderness (natural & physical).  However, we must know how to LISTEN. As we adhere to the proper listening techniques, we will know how and when it is the appropriate time to move His people (and ourselves) to their next place (and our next place) in Him.

Watch Your Midwives!

“Now also we beseech you, brethren, get to know those who labor among you….”

 I Thessalonians 5:12

Warriors who stand against the kingdom of darkness must at all times know those to whom they have given the power and the authority to assist them in their birthing processes. The role of a midwife is an extremely vital position. This person has the ability to give life or to cause death, to enhance or to diminish, to encourage and bring hope; or to cause confusion and bring total despair, to your future.

In the book of Exodus, chapter one we are given an account of the creditability of the midwives. The Bible states that the midwives feared God! In the dimension that we have now embarked, as an endtime warrior, you must exercise extreme caution in the acceptance of one who desires to serve you in the role of a midwife. (The role of a midwife is not gender sensitive.) You must only permit those who have the ability to understand the true reverential fear of God, to be entrusted with the safeguarding of your vision. Some of you have had the OPPORTUNITY to excel to various heights and positions…. but have not done so. You haven't made these accomplishments, because your midwife has slaughtered your dreams and visions. Just at the point when you were in the proper position, at just the time when the midwife was supposed to assist you into bringing your vision, dream etc. into total manifestation - because your midwife was not assigned to you by God, you gave birth,- but your midwives were used by the enemy to intervene.  Your midwife killed your new born dreams or visions.  They were used by the enemy to introduce the spirit of fear  - which caused you to walk in doubt and unbelief.

Therefore, some of you will now have to adjust and amend the positions of those to whom you thought you could trust. It is imperative that you always seek the guidance of the Holy Spirit before enlisting the eager assistance of those desiring to assist you in ministry.

Remember - a warrior is a warrior at all times. Why? Briefly, the strategic mindset of a warrior is always focused, and purpose driven.  A true warrior will never permit their mind to stray from their divine call and destiny!  A true warrior knows no defeat.  A true warrior has learned to triumph in EVERY situation.

Therefore, as warriors, we must always bear in mind that the enemy is ever attempting to gain access to us. We are most vulnerable when we are embarking upon a new venture. This is why we must be ever so selective when accepting one into our confidence….as they respond to our need for a midwife!

To Be Continued!!!

Priority Number One

Priority Number One

As we focus daily on our God given assignments and obligations, we must be certain that we don’t lose sight of our ultimate goal.   Therefore it doesn’t matter what our giftings or callings are, nor our area of “expertise”; we all have been given an assignment that greatly outweighs everything else. Far too often, we become so involved in doing the work of the Lord; that we permit the call to distract us from “THE CALL”. In other words we become so engulfed with doing the work of the Lord that we lose sight on our ultimate goal.  We must always remain cognizant of our number one priority.  Its relevancy hasn’t been altered.   Today the need and the demands are even greater now than ever before.   What should be the major underlying focus of every Christian? It should be the ability to be an effective, influential, innovative, skillful Soul Winner!

On a regular basis we must inventory our spiritual data base and do a little housekeeping.  It is necessary that we replace antiquated methods with those whose application will make an impact on the unsaved.  We can’t forget to seek the face of the Lord for His guidance and direction to obtain the strategies that will be effective.  We can’t forget that we should ALWAYS be advocates for the Kingdom of God. We can’t forget that everything we’ve endured has qualified us; and given us vital evidence to substantiate God’s love.  We can’t forget that there are still those – who if they heard some of our victories – would be drawn to the Lord.  Be transparent when the Lord directs you to be so.  Remember…..For the believer - Soul Winning is priority number one…..Always!!

So, value the importance of one lost soul.   Make an appointment with God to discuss the enhancement of your soul winning tactics.  Seek him for the boldness, wisdom and opportunity to be an effective witness – wherever and whenever the occasion occurs.  Simply because God has delayed His return – He is giving US one more day to assist in the enlargement of His family.

Your number one priority is to be an effective Soul Winner.  However, today’s soul winners must be Spirit lead; Spirit filled and above all be Spiritually motivated!

“…… he that winneth souls is wise.” Proverbs 11:30

But if the watchman see the sword come, and blow not the trumpet, and the people be not warned; if the sword come, and take any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at the watchman's hand.  Ezekiel 33:6

Was That God's Voice?

Was That God’s Voice?

“and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice.  And a stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him: for they know not the voice of strangers.” John 10:4 &5

Many of you have asked me from time to time questions concerning the ability to distinguish the voice of God from your own thoughts and from the noise of the enemy.

As the end of time as we know it draws nigh, we have to maintain an alertness that will not permit the advancements of modern technology to further nullify or desensitize our natural abilities.  When we look in retrospect at those who have lived in previous generations – we will observe that they possessed the ability to express more wisdom than the average person does today.  Our ancestors may not have had all of the “gadgets” that we now have, but they had the ability to use their natural senses in ways that are not common to us.

Just to side track for a minute.  We must be aware of the attack that has come against the verbal communication skills of our younger generation.  One of the end time strategies of our adversary is to get them to become so dependent on their devices that their brains lose their desire to communicate verbally.  Therefore, now we have a generation who can sit for hours – in the same room – and not verbally say a single word to each other!  But….will text each other instead of verbally talking. Can you see the strategy?  If they don’t value their ability to verbally communicate with one another, how can they comfortably verbally communicate with God?  How can they comfortably communicate with the spirit world if they can’t talk to those whom they can physically see?  Will they have the ability to SPEAK to their mountains? Will they lose their ability to use any of their communication skills?  Let’s do our part and opt for verbally talking instead of texting when ever possible.

However, to be able to recognize the voice of God we must learn more about Him, and build a relationship with Him.  This is accomplished by spending valuable time in His presence and studying His word to the point that we will know exactly who He is.  When you were a child, no doubt there were times when your parents may not have been present.  However, because you had spent time in their presence and had come to know them, you know whether you could or could not adhere to certain behavior patterns.  You knew your limits because you knew your parents.  No one has to teach a baby how to distinguish the voice of their mother.  Why?  Because they have spent time in her presence on a regular basis; therefore they know her voice.

How can a bank teller know an authentic bill from a counterfeit?  Because they have studied the appearance and texture of the real thing to the degree that they “know it”. So, how can we know the voice of God? By studying the real thing until we “know it”!  When we truly know God, then we will know His voice.  When we truly know God, we will know what behavior patterns are in accord with who He is.  When we truly know God; neither our thoughts, nor the noise of the enemy will sound the same as His voice in our ears… nor feel the same in our spirits.  When we truly know God, we will know what He desires, what He agrees with and what He want us to accomplish.

Yielded...But Not Broken

Yielded ….. But Not Broken

“Not of works”....  Ephesians 2:9

The Lord wants to be in total control of our lives.  However, for the most part, far too many of His faithful followers haven’t received the boldness which is required to operate from a platform of being broken.  They are faithful in the “doing” while lacking in the “being”.  In other words we are basically still living our lives from the position of observing the law (the covenant of works); instead of allowing the Holy Spirit to accomplish His work though us.

We have yielded our thoughts, actions and words to the LEADING of the Holy Spirit which is a great achievement… for a new convert.   When I “yield” in a given situation; I remain in control and decide the outcome of that situation.   When I am yielded, I will faithfully and in all sincerity: pay my tithes, “assemble myself with other believers”, study and read my Bible, etc.  However, because I am only yielded – I am still basing my relationship with the Lord on all of these things that I am “doing”.

When I become that broken vessel …. I have matured to the place where I am no longer in control at all.  Therefore my mind has been renewed to the extent that I will move in instant obedience to the voice of the Lord.  A broken vessel truly “Takes no thought for tomorrow” when they receive a command from the Lord. A broken vessel doesn’t worry, fret or become overly concerned about the outcome of situations or circumstances.  A broken vessel has learned the art of resting in the assurance of the unconditional love of the Lord – regardless.

A yielded vessel will know that they’ve heard the voice of the Lord; but may delay in obeying…

A broken vessel will know that they’ve heard the voice of the Lord and w/o giving it a second      thought - instantly obey.

A yielded vessel will still “stake claims” on their material possessions….

A broken vessel will say, “Lord EVERYTHING that I have is yours” - ….they will freely release  ANYTHING that they possess when the initial instruction comes from the Lord.

A yielded vessel is still in the process of being molded, reshaped and refashioned.   A yielded vessel is still developing into a vessel that has been stripped of every nonessential ideology, concept and precept.  Then once stripped, this vessel can now be broken by the power of the Holy Spirit and refashioned to used totally by Him for His glory.

To be effective in these last days; we can no longer be just yielded vessels.  It’s a new day! The Lord doesn’t desire for us to only be yielded.   We must become broken vessels by Him for Him.

Broken vessels are vessels of virtue; broken vessels are vessels of valor and above all; broken vessels are vessels of Victory!

See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.  Isaiah 43:19

Your Message is Vital!

Your Message is Vital

“……. For he who is least among you all is the one who is great.” Luke 9:48

Far too many people are striving to be bigger in ministry.  They lean to the misconception that greatness is measured by the multitude and not magnitude. However when we search the scriptures, they will reveal that when God decrees to use someone to make an impact; nothing can hinder His decision.

Therefore, for those of you who are overly concerned about the size of your ministry; or the seemingly lack of opportunities to be used of God – fret not!  Remember:

  • The Minor Prophetical Books in the Bible are just as relevant as the Major Books.
  • Gideon’s army was reduced from 32,000 to 300.
  • The thief on the cross a famous “no name” (so was the woman at the well)
  • Jabez – was only mentioned in one book of the Bible – but rendered a well-known prayer
  • ·       Ehud -  was used greatly by the Lord - and no one really knows him by name, (Judges 3)

And this list could continue on for a few pages.

Whatever the Lord has given to you to say or to do is vital to the success of someone.  Think not that your message, your testimony, your words of encouragement or your past experiences are irrelevant.   Everything that you have encountered is of significance to someone and has not happened to you by circumstance.

One little light, in a darken room, will illuminate the entire room.  Never permit the enemy to convince you that you or your ministry, are immaterial or unimportant.  Our adversary is very strategic and doesn’t waste time attempting to interfere with nonessentials!  Therefore, if he is hounding you with discouragement, disappointment and the like – it’s only because he knows that you are “standing on the tip of an iceberg”.  Therefore you must realize your potential – and accept his “nonsense” as a sure confirmation of God’s intended plans and purposes for your future.

So whatever message that the Lord has given unto you – speak it boldly.  God’s Word is not validated by the amount of people who hear it.  His Word has the ability to impact 100 or 1000… or 10.  Your message… if it is from the Lord … is vital…. So boldly speak it regardless!

“Though your beginning was small, yet your latter end should greatly increase.” Job 8:7

Then Jesus answered and said, “O faithless and perverse generation, how long shall I be with you? How long shall I bear with you? Bring him here to Me.  And Jesus rebuked the demon, and it came out of him; and the child was cured from that very hour.  Then the disciples came to Jesus privately and said, Why could we not cast it out?   So Jesus said to them, “Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.” Matthew 17:17-20

…Not more Word….But More Wisdom

“Lord may I daily walk in a state of wisdom that operates above my physical age, and experiences.”

El De’ot”

(The God of Knowledge - Proverbs 19:8)

“Wisdom is the principle thing, therefore get wisdom and in all of thy getting, get understanding.” Proverbs 4:7

Read: Proverbs 4 & James 1

To have obtained information, yet lack the knowledge and the understanding of its application; is equivalent to walking in a rain storm; carrying a closed umbrella; and complaining that you are now soaking wet!  Many Christians today are experiencing a since of being “overwhelmed” by the circumstances and the occurrences of their daily lives.  Most are truly devoted Saints - who can tote, quote and know who wrote the Bible.  However, they have not received the wisdom for proper application of the God’s word.

So today Father, I will no longer be content in my current state.  I refuse to be one who has simply memorized your Word – but lack the wisdom that is embedded within your Word.  I ask that you El De’ot, reveal to me the hidden treasures of your Word.   I understand that I can no longer afford to walk in ignorance concerning the application of your principles.  You have given me a work to accomplish. I have the tools, I have the plans, and I have the true desire to continue to walk in your divine guidance.  However, the missing element which is now vital, is a degree of your wisdom which is equivalent to or which surpasses the amount of your Word that is within me.

El De’ot, May I always remember that for every minute that I am not aggressively applying your wisdom, “I” am permitting a delay in the manifestation and the execution of your plans for my life.   “I” am opening the door for diabolical distractions. “I” am giving fuel to kingdom of darkness and giving it permission to release and execute its plans…… Simply because “I” have not intensely sought you for wisdom.

Therefore, I will plunge into you and seek your wisdom at any cost.  The degree of your wisdom which I have already attained, mandates that I push through EVERY obstacle, and pursue not to get more of your Word – but a fuller understanding of the Word that I have already obtained.

I will, I must, and I can; with a renewed tenacity seek the guidance and direction that is only procured from you; My omniscient Father…. My God of knowledge… My El De’ot.

Just Shift to Autopilot

Just Shift to Autopilot

I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye.                                                                            Psalm 32:8

An autopilot system is a system used to guide a vehicle without the assistance of the pilot.  I found it interesting that this system is usually only used when the pilot needs to climb, descend or hold an altitude while following a specified route of flight.   Then, there are also instances when the pilot is instructed from the control center to switch to autopilot; thus permitting the complete control of the plane to be in the guidance of someone else.  However, a plane must have this system in tact prior to take off – if the pilot is going to have the ability to use it.

There are times in our lives when it is reassuring to know that we are never left alone to guide and to manage the operation our lives.  When we are climbing to new heights we never have to fear or to become alarmed – just shift to autopilot.  When we are confronted or faced with situations where our visibility is uncertain – just shift to autopilot.  When we need to maintain a certain altitude – we only have to just shift to autopilot.

When the plane is using the autopilot system – the pilot is experiencing trouble free, worry free, hands off flying.  We, in our lives also can take advantage of this type of “cruise controlled” living.  However we must have in our control center the master pilot; … one who has the ability to have full knowledge of every situation that may occur.  When we place our lives in the capable hands of our omnipotent, omnipresent, immutable Father - it then becomes His responsibility to control and to orchestrate the occurrences of our lives.   He is the only one who has the ability to reassure us that we will weather every flight successfully.

So, for smooth sailing, even on a clear day when all appears to be going well; just shift to autopilot.  Also, always remember that our autopilot has an additional feature.  He has no limitations or restrictions.  The turbulent conditions in our lives never become too difficult for Him to handle.  Whenever we feel the need – we can just make the shift.   He is always just one pray, one call, one thought away.   Don’t attempt to fly “solo”.  Thrust yourself into the capable hands of God Almighty….just shift to autopilot!

John 14:27 ESV “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.”

Remember.... It's A Process!

Remember …..It’s A Process!

“Despise not the day of small beginnings……”  Zechariah 4:10

One vital piece of information that we must remember is that mighty oak trees are birthed from tiny acorns; and an apple orchard from one apple seed.   In other words, remember…it’s a process!

The embryotic stages of any living creature must be carefully guarded and protected to assure its ability…. once it reaches the stage of maturity; to successfully reproduce.  Each stage of development is vital.

Sometimes we tend to forget that ministry also has its stages of development.  We forget that our spiritual walk has stages of development.  So don’t permit the spirit of abortion to have the victory in your life or ministry. Remember: Every one of us is unique – therefore our journey will not be a carbon copy of anyone else’s.    We must learn the art of being confident in whom we are in the Lord; using only His plumb line as our guide.  Far too often we feel as though because our ministry or our spirit walk is progressing slowly or not even showing any signs of progressing – that we should just give up.  However, growth initiates from the inside out.   It’s a process.

When I was a school teacher, in our science class the children would plant seeds.  Sometimes they would want to throw the containers away when they didn’t see anything happening.  However, as they continued to care for them, they would eventually see a tiny sprout coming out of the soil…. And the excitement would begin!  They would then be able to see the evidence of the work that was already taking place under the surface.  We as adults, many times seem to forget those simplistic lessons that we’ve learned as children.  We tend to forget that the visible manifestation of anything is secondary…. And everything is a process.

Life is a waiting game.  However, when we have ENDURED as a good soldier (2 Timothy 2:3) – we will reap the harvest.  God has promised that we will reap in DUE season - however, only if we don’t permit that spirit of abortion to be victorious (Galatians 6:9).   God CAN’T lie (Numbers 23:19).  Therefore learn to wait on the Lord (Psalm 27:14; Isaiah 40:31).

Remember…It’s a Process.  You must go THROUGH each stage of your process….because tomorrow’s success will stand tall on today’s perseverance!

Go With the Flow!

Go With the Flow!

“See, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? …. “    Isaiah 43:19 NIV

Don’t fight the change! Saints….especially those of you who are actively serving in Leadership; it is imperative that   you become more characteristic of the flow of electricity.  The electrical current will follow down the path of least resistance.

I’m sure that most of you have noticed the recent atmospheric occurrences which have transpired.  Therefore, because there has been a major shifting in the realm of the spirit; we are in a new place.   We are therefore experiencing and sensing the “newness” all around us.  We must remember that change is attempting to materialize in all things and in everything which concerns us.  The Lord is saying, “Don’t fight the change….just go with the flow!”.

Many times we will gladly welcome change - in some areas, but resist it in others.  “Don’t fight the change”.

Ok…. let’s refocus our minds back to thinking about electricity.  Why do people get shocked?  One of the reasons is that they interfere with the flow of the electrical current.  The Lord has permitted the release of a new flow; a different type of flow.  Saints, stay in the flow!  Avoid getting shocked!

Years ago, there were occurrences when we would to listen to a radio station or television broadcast and we would hear a sound that we called static.  This sound is produced because something has interfered with the natural flow of the sound waves or the current.  The sound of static is not the problem.  The sound of static is the indication that there was a problem.  The problem is that something has caused a stillness; an interference; or a break in the flow of the electrical current.  In other words, the static is relaying to us that there has been a change in the flow.  Something is resisting, fighting against and interfering with the natural flow.   The static is communicating that something needs to be altered.

Saints, (especially Leaders), don’t become the cause of static in your ministry.  Don’t fight the change.  Go with the flow of the Holy Ghost.  Our increase in every area of our lives can only be received when we are pliable enough to go with the flow and not become our own hindrance.

Don’t wait for the lack of sound … or the sound of static…… Flow along the path of least resistance in the realm of the Spirit.  This flow will not be familiar to your natural man or mindset; but within your spirit you will receive an affirmative confirmation that it is from the Lord. This flow will require major adjustments.  However your successfulness as an endtime warrior is dependent upon your ability to swiftly adapt and adjust to the new flow.

When uncertain – enter into a season of consecration to receive specific instructions.  Remember go with the flow of the Holy Spirit – whether it be upstream or across stream!  Just as in the natural – when we go against the current or the flow….we will receive an indication that we’ve interrupted the flow.  That indication is referred to as a “shock”.  There may be times when the Lord will need to send us a spiritual shock to bring us to a state of alertness.

Let’s listen to the Lord.  Let’s avoid interrupting or causing an interference in what the Lord is now permitting to transpire.  Let’s get in the current…...prevent getting shocked.   Let’s just go with the flow and be guided by the eye of the Lord!

“I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye.”

Psalm 32:8

Encourage, Enlighten, Empowered

Encourage, Enlighten, Empowered

“Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus….” Philippians 2:5a

During my prayer time one morning, I heard these three words: encourage, enlighten and empowered.   The Lord has said that in this season; if we can embrace the essence of these words…..  permitting their meanings to become as one anchor… we will obtain the ability to stand firmly in any situation.

First, I must learn how to truly encourage myself….as David did (I Samuel 30:6). Because of the rapidity of events in the realm of the spirit and in the natural; unless we establish a pattern of daily renewing our minds with the Word of God; depression, oppression and the like will attempt to take residence within our minds.  However we must not allow our attentions to wander, nor our allegiance to the Lord to become altered.  We must maintain an attitude of gratefulness.  Remember to speak over yourself and encourage yourself …..REGARDLESS!

Next, we must daily seek to educate ourselves concerning some subject. Enlarge the territory of your mind! (I Chronicles 4:9 & 10).   Never let a day end without having learning something new.  Be determined that you will learn at least one new thing every day.  When we don’t actively use our minds, because of the inactivity of certain brain cells; we have opened the door to various psychological disorders.  To become enlightened concerning any subject on a daily basis only requires one key element…. Discipline!

Lastly, I must remember that I have already been empowered to accomplish EVERY task that I may encounter.   I will triumph in every situation!  (II Corinthians 2:14). God has given to me the power and the authority to successfully triumph in every situation.  However… when I am uncertain concerning this; I will permit the enemy to make me think that he has the upper hand.  We have the power…we have already been empowered.  Therefore, we must stand in the midst of any and every situation……commanding it to come into an alignment with what the Lord has said.  Our dilemmas don’t surface because of a lack of power.  However the restraint on the manifestation of our power could very well be: fear; a lack of wisdom; or a lack of correct information.

Therefore, it I encourage myself; become more enlighten; and walk in the empowered state that the Lord has already given unto me…..I can’t be defeated!  When my mind has truly been renewed to this position…… and I used these words as my foundation…… then I have become that feared individual that the enemy’s camp so dreads!!!

“The beginning of wisdom is this: Get wisdom, and whatever you get, get insight.” Proverbs 4:7 (ESV)

Check Your Connections!

Check Your Connections!

“Surely the Lord God will do nothing, unless He revealeth His secret unto His servants the prophets.” Amos 3:7

Would you like to know the newspaper headlines for tomorrow?  What if your country’s security intelligence forces had the proper connections in advance to focus on where the next terrorist attack would occur …. Or the next major local catastrophe?  It doesn’t matter the situation; proper preparation requires that I get connected to the correct source.  When I am properly connected I can advance to my next place in the realm of the spirit; in peace and harmony…. On time!

The Lord loves us to the extent that He doesn’t want us to become alarmed or caught by surprise with the negative occurrences which will transpire in the future.  He has promised to inform us of His intentions. However we must avail ourselves to those to whom He has given the ear to hear His prophetic voice.  It is imperative in this season that we get connected to those who can authentically represent and relay the voice of the Lord concerning the future.  We must get connected to those who have truly been anointed by God and have the ability to communicate to us His specifics concerning future events.

As I have so often said, the time to prepare for the calamity is prior to its occurrence. Our successful survival is dependent upon our ability to be proactive– rather than reactive; to be prepared rather that caught by surprise when major tragedies occur.  So now is the time to connect or to re-connect.

  • Get connected to someone who can correlate their insights concerning the future to the Word of God.
  • Get connected to someone who has a proven positive track record.
  • Get connected to someone who is willing to teach and lead by example; rather than just prophesy.
  • Above all, get connected to the person (or persons) that the Lord is leading you to - not necessarily the person that is the most popular – but the person with whom the Lord validates within your spirit.

We can possess proper and powerful tools; however without the intervention of our God given connection(s), our production will be limited or possibly non-existent.    For example; one may purchase the finest electrical equipment possible.  However if they have no means of receiving an electrical current; if they can’t get connected to a working power source; their tools are useless!

So in this season… check your connections.  It is possible that the hindrance that you are encountering could simply be that it’s time to amend those to whom you are connected.  Sometimes we are trying to fix and patch up something that has served its purpose and needs to be discarded, replaced or upgraded.

As we approach the ending of this year begin to survey your connections.  Ask the Lord for the wisdom and the grace to “clean house” in the realm of the spirit.  Examination your connections   and terminate those that the Lord deems are no longer beneficial.  Trust in the Lord ….He has never, nor will He ever steer you to the wrong connections.

“Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.  Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:  And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.”   I John 4:1-3

Dead or Dormant???

Dead or Dormant?

Read Ephesians 6:10-18

As we progress and grow towards becoming that “profitable” servant; we should discover that many of our ungodly habits and desires appear to no longer be present…which is a great accomplishment.  However, as my Grandmother would say, “Every shut eye ain’t sleep”.

The Lord wants to deliver us from everything that would hinder our walk with Him.  Yet in many instances, we have mistaking thought that we have been delivered from a particular spirit when we really haven’t. Sometimes we’ve eliminated the fruit – but not the root.  For example, we may have seemingly had an issue with: uncontrolled anger, envy, or extreme competition. However, we may not realize that these are only the fruit which have been produced.  The seed or master spirit here may be jealousy.  So I may have dealt with the fruit – yet the root is still lying dormant within me – waiting….sometimes for years to manifest itself again in a different type of fruit.  (I’m really trying to keep this as elementary as possible… I know that some of you have no clue as to what in the world I’m referring to!  However, just hang in there…put this one on the shelf and come back to it later! LOL!)

So we must ask the Holy Spirit to reveal to us any of the areas in our lives where we think that we have received a “healing”, or deliverance.  (Now…if you are one of those “perfect” people who really can’t see any areas in our life – let me help you a little. Your number one culprit is pride!)  We must make certain that whatever appears to no longer be prevalent in our lives, is truly dead….and not just still sitting around….dormant.

Therefore, because we are living in these endtimes, we can’t make assumptions.  We must make certain that total deliverance has occurred in various areas of our lives – and that we are truly dead in those areas.  We can’t afford to have an issue surface – that we thought was gone!

Lastly, the Lord is telling me to remind/inform you that deliverance will not be obtained through professional counseling.  Spirits can’t be counseled! Attempting to counsel a spirit is synonymous to applying a band-aid to a broken leg and wondering why it won’t heal; or why it healed improperly!   However, once a spirit is dead (and not dormant)….then we can seek the proper counseling. (Luke 11:24-26)

So just be certain that issues that you once encountered; without regards to how major or minor they may seem to be;… have truly been bound and cast out….. and that they are not merely lying dormant….. awaiting an opportunity to surface ….at just the WRONG time!

Don't Miss The Sound!

Don’t Miss The Sound!

“And when you shall HEAR the sound of marching in the top of the mulberry trees, then you shall advance quickly.”  I Chronicles 14:15

The Lord, our Baal Perazim (the God of Breakthrough) is confirming His position in our current battle.  Just as He was with David, He is reminding us that His wisdom still supersedes that of the adversary.

When reading this story in I Chronicles (or II Samuel) we discovered that Baal Perazim required  David’s response  to be quick and at precisely the right time.  Let’s consider David’s responsibility.

  1. David had to know the voice of the Lord.
  2. David had to remain alert and attentive in the realm of the spirit.
  3. David had to already have his weapons and be positioned offensively.

When we attempt to correlate this story to our daily lives, we must remember that:

  1. David sought the Lord for direction prior to the onset of the battle.
  2. The Lord went before David and “Broke Through” the front line of the enemy’s defense.
  3. Whatever the Lord has done before, He still has the power to do again.

I found it interesting that David was told to LISTEN for a certain sound. If we are going to know exactly when to advance, conquer and reclaim our territory; then we must critique or fine tune our ability to recognize a specific sound. Far too often we are listening to and follow the wrong sound!  David’s specific sound was the sound of marching.  Are you aware of the sound that God is using in your life as a form of confirmation?

Next, the sound was in a designated place - the tree tops.  Not on the ground, nor in the air, but in the top of the mulberry trees.  This fact reminds us that the specific sound will resonate from a specific destination.

So because Baal Perazim had already preceded David, he (David) was able to be victorious.

Our God is still operating as Baal Perazim today.  He has broken through the front line of defense in our enemy’s territory and is permitting us to recover all!  But we must LISTEN for our specific marching orders.

Don’t permit a delay in your recovery because you didn’t hear or recognize the voice of God concerning His specific instruction; advising you how and when to advance - and recover all!

Just as David did…. Seek the face of God, Listen for the Sound, and March your way to victory.
