It’s “BLESSimony” Time!!!
“Oh give thanks unto the Lord for He is good and His mercy endure for ever.” Psalm107:1
We all know that the favor of the Lord is always surrounding, covering and protecting us and all that belongs to us. (Psalm 5:12)
Have you ever considered the fact that the Lord protects and hides what is rightfully ours? When we are walking uprightly before God, He allows our Angels to supernaturally “hide” us and everything that concerns us.
Here is a prime example. I went to the ATM machine that was located within a local neighborhood store to make a withdrawal. Upon leaving the store and reaching my destination, I discovered that I didn’t have the money that I thought I had withdrawn. So, I figured that I had made a mistake and not withdrawn the amount that I was looking for. I checked my receipt to discover that I had withdrawn the funds! Thinking that maybe I had dropped the money I decided to go back to the store and retrace my steps. (CRAZY FAITH!!!) I went back to the store, retraced my steps….no money. Well, just before I left the store, I decided to go back to the ATM machine. Guess what??? The money was still at the ATM machine, hanging out of the machine…I had never taken all of the money out of the machine!!! Now this is a very hectic, heavily traveled neighborhood store. But no one saw that money… and no one else had used the ATM prior to my coming back. The money was just sitting there – in plain view waiting for ME to come back to retrieve it!!
God protects and hides what belongs to us. Even in our carelessness. God didn’t allow anyone else to go to the machine to make a transaction. He didn’t allow anyone walking pass the machine in this very active store to see the money just sitting there. And, He allowed me to walk in faith to go back to look for it and not just assume that it was gone!
I would like to encourage everyone who is reading this to realize that what God has for you – it is for you! No one can take what belongs to you….even when you are negligent!
Walk in faith, keep your focus and watch what God will do just for you. I’ve learned to appreciate everything that God does. No matter how great or how minute, our God is always working everything out for our good!
“The Lord is our protector and glorious king, blessing us with kindness and honor.
He does not refuse any good thing to those who do what is right. Lord Almighty, how happy are those who trust in you! “ Psalm 84:11-12 (Good News Translation)
