It’s Time To W.A.T.C.H. !
This morning the Lord said WATCH! So, here is the revelation for today:
W – Wait … Wait until you are certain that the directions that you receive are from the Lord.
1 John 4:1 KJV: “Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.”
A - Alert….Remain ALERT in the realm of the Spirit. Don’t become complacent or comfortable - not acknowledging the physical signs that are now very prevalent.
Romans 13:11-14 (The Message Bible)
11-14 “But make sure that you don’t get so absorbed and exhausted in taking care of all your day-by-day obligations that you lose track of the time and doze off, oblivious to God. The night is about over, dawn is about to break. Be up and awake to what God is doing! God is putting the finishing touches on the salvation work he began when we first believed. We can’t afford to waste a minute, must not squander these precious daylight hours in frivolity and indulgence, in sleeping around and dissipation, in bickering and grabbing everything in sight. Get out of bed and get dressed! Don’t loiter and linger, waiting until the very last minute. Dress yourselves in Christ, and be up and about!”
T – TRIUMPHANT – Remember that we are called to be triumphant in EVERY situation. Refuse to succumb to what you observe with your physical senses.
2 Corinthians 2:14 - "Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the Saviour of his knowledge by us in every place."
C – Consequences- Every decision has CONSEQUENCES. Be certain that your decisions are ordained by the Lord….then HE will sustain you.
Proverbs 3:5-6 English Standard Version
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding.
In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.
H – Heed - Take heed to the word of God i
1 Timothy 4:16.
"Take heed unto thyself, and unto the doctrine; continue in them: for in doing this thou shalt both save thyself, and them that hear thee."
Another verse that talks about taking heed is:
Mark 4:24
"And he said unto them, Take heed what ye hear: with what measure ye mete it shall be measured unto you: and more shall be given unto you."
So, to summarize, now is the time to:
Wait on the Lord; be Alert; Triumph – regardless; remember that decisions have Consequences, and take Heed to what the Lord is saying!
And it is so!
