MOVING OUT OF THE TIMING OF THE LORD

This is a satanic weapon used against individuals called into ministry, making a decision to move, or maybe taking a different job. Both David and Saul moved out of the timing of God, to the harm of their destines. Saul tried to do the office of a priest in offering the burnt offering. He was a king over Israel, not a priest over Israel. He acted foolishly and God had Samuel to rebuke him. Samuel said, "You have not kept the command the Lord your God gave you; if you had, he would have established your kingdom over Israel for all time. But now your kingdom will not endure; the Lord has sought out a man after his own heart and appointed him leader of his people, because you have not kept the Lord's command." Then Samuel left Gilgal and went up to Gibeah in Benjamin, and Saul counted the men who were with him. They numbered about six hundred (Read I Samuel chapter 13). Saul disregarded the Lord's word to wait. We are not to touch or do anything that God has told not to touch or do.

In the case of David, although it was his kingly responsibility to conduct a census of the people, it was not the timing of the Lord. Hence, in doing so, not only were there severe personal consequences, but also an entire nation was affected. As we wait in God for our ministry, we must also remember that since our times and seasons are in the hand of God, there is no need to be anxious, rushed, or hurried in the maturation process through impatience. I Chronicles 21:1 says, Satan rose up against Israel and incited David to take a census of Israel. We need to be discerning as to which spirit is speaking to us, and follow the Spirit of the Lord.

Ask God to allow you to move in the anointing of the sons of Isaachar so that you will discern the proper time and season for all things. Decree and declare that you are synchronized and syncopated to the timing of the Lord, moving in His will and with the prophetic "cloud." If God says NO, don't proceed any further! It will harm you, your ministry, and others.
