Not Revival ….But Repentance!
Read Psalm 51 (Amplified)
Our devotion on this morning is not lengthy in content, yet intense in context. Today, the Lord is summoning us to a call for repentance.
Far too many of us are constantly asking the Lord to revive us, however to revive without repentance will yield to the resurrection of our former ideologies, mindsets and motives.
So, as we further engage into this Lenten Season, it would be to our advantage to seek the face of the Lord for a repentant heart, an alteration in our methodologies, and an enhanced clarification of direction concerning “our BEING vs. our DOING”. SELAH!!!!
(Being who we are called to be….motivated from and reflective of our “inner self”,
Doing.... often reflect the residue of a demonic religious spirit…covenant of works!)
Let’s permit our focus during this period of Lent, to develop and usher us into true repentance. May we receive the transformation that will empower us to express the Kingdom Authority, and Kingdom Vigilance which is required for such a time as this.
