“P.E.A.C.E.”

How can I still have peace?

It doesn’t matter what you’re encountering….you can still have peace.  However, you must realize that God has given to you a strategy that must be implemented.  You must also realize that peace is not the absence of adversity – but a mindset.

So… How can you renew my mind to the extent that you can receive God’s solution and apply it to every situation?   The following can assist.

P -“Presence” - If we invite the presence of God to intervene; (Exodus 33: 14)

E -“Endure”   - If we endure as a warrior, not whine like a wimp; and view

our situation as an open door and not a dead end;

                                (James 1:22; II Timothy 2:3)

A -“Ask”        - If we ask God for guidance and the proper strategy to

                       successfully outwit the enemy in every situation... and don’t just

                       do what “WE” think is best;  (Proverbs 3:5-7)

C -“Cry”         - If we cry out to the Lord first– and not to other people;

         (Psalm 30:2)

E -“Expect”   - If we expect and accept. Expect God to give you a strategy –

                          Therefore, keep an open ear  - knowing that we must accept

                          the process.

                               (Philippians 4:13; Psalm 86:11; Psalm 25:5)

So….YES! We can still have PEACE in the midst of it all…..But the key is to:

Invite in the PRESENCE of God;  Be determined to ENDURE; ASK God for help; CRY to Him and EXPECT Him to change US even when the situation doesn’t APPEAR to be changing.

  • Recently my daughter and I reflected on how God’s presence can light our way through life’s hardest battles. We discovered that when you let His presence fill your life, fear quietly slips away and peace takes its place. Even in the deepest darkness, I believe His peace sweeps in, bringing the promise of victory. Whatever your path holds, you are never alone. God walks beside you, offering comfort and hope.
