Scriptures: Revelations 2:10 KJV: "10 Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer : behold , the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life."
Revelations 3:10 KJV: "10 Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth."
What is perseverance?
The Authorized Version of the King James Version Bible Printed in 1611 dictionary stated the following about perseverance:
perseverance
PERSEVE'RANCE, n. L. perseverantia. See Persevere.
1. Persistence in any thing undertaken; continued pursuit or prosecution of any business or enterprise begun; applied alike to good or evil.
Perseverance keeps honor bright.
Patience and perseverance overcome the greatest difficulties.
2. In theology, continuance in a state of grace to a state of glory; sometimes called final perseverance.
What is faith?
According to the Baker's Evangelical Dictionary of Biblical Theology, Faith is, "Belief, trust, and loyalty to a person or thing. Christians find their security and hope in God as revealed in Jesus Christ, and say "amen" to that unique relationship to God in the Holy Spirit through love and obedience as expressed in lives of discipleship and service."
Message: On today, I wanted to encourage everyone to exercise their perseverance faith that God has blessed them with. it is God who increases our faith and gives us faith. It is God who has commanded us and challenged us to persevere during these last and evil days. You can make it, because God has Blessed you with everything you need in order to persevere. Now is the time for you to exercise your perseverance faith, knowing that no matter what trials and tribulations one has, you can overcome them, because God has given us everything to do this.
