W.W.W. (Walking While Waiting)
The Lord is good unto them that wait for him, to the soul that seeketh him. Lamentations 3:25
Today, the Lord wants us to be reminded, that as we are anticipating the manifestation of His divine intervention in our situations, we are to continue to be diligent in our current assignments. We must continue to “Walk While Waiting”.
To walk according to the dictionary is to MOVE at a regular pace by lifting & setting down each foot in turn; never having both feet off of the ground at once. Therefore, walking implies an action. As we are waiting for the Lord’s intervention, we are not to become idle. We must continue to escalate our level of faith. When both of my feet are in the same place – at the same time – I have ceased to move. When I’m not moving – I’ll become stagnant, complacent and begin to wither. As we wait, we must keep up our momentum. We can’t permit fear, doubt nor unbelief to enter our spirits. We must continue to trust the wisdom of God.
As always, I have an acronym. To wait is to:Walk Around In Trust
So in the natural, so in the realm of the Spirit! Remember – faith without works (an action) is still dead - nonproductive. Usually, the Lord is permitting us to wait because He is waiting for US! Although we think that we are ready to receive what we are waiting for; our omniscient Father knows our true level of maturity.
Lastly, our verse for today reminds us to seek the Lord. As you wait on the Lord, I encourage you to seek Him with an enhanced devotion to Him.
Therefore, as I seek the Lord I’ll:
Willingly Advance In Transforming (My thoughts, actions and motives) - Ezekiel 36:26
Work Aggressively Increasing Territories (Spiritual & Natural) - Proverbs 16:9
AND….
Walk Around In Trust!!!!
“Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful.” Hebrews 10:23
