  Documentaries have revealed if a sizable asteroid struck the edge of Mexico the following eight things would occur: A tsunami with twenty-foot high waves- moving 500 m.p.h. to America. It would wipe out everything on the coasts and then go inland for about 50 miles. All ships (e.g., cruise ships, fishing, and military) in tsunami's path would be destroyed. It would heat the atmosphere 280 degrees, sending metal up to reheat, then back down. The earth (land) temperature would rise from normal to as high as 700 degrees. The only survivors would be in mountains underground until the areas cool off. Particles would cover the earth and darken the sun for weeks or months. The food supply would be gone- starvation, pestilence, and drought kill millions.

  These scenarios are found in the Book of Revelation:

1. The destruction of the ships (Rev. 8:9).

2. The water is undrinkable (Rev. 8:10-11) the PH balance is changed.

3. The darkening of the sun and moon (Rev. 8:12) -dust clouds.

4. The hailstones of fire (Rev. 8:7) metal reheating, going up and coming down.

5. The heat of the earth (Rev. 16:9)

6. The earth moves off its axis (Isa. 13:13)

7. Men are hiding in the mountains (Rev. 6:15-16) they are deep in the ground where it is cool.

Notice how these judgments are parallel to the repercussions of an asteroid. Where will this asteroid strike? There are several major seas and gulfs in the world:

1. The Pacific Ocean

2. The Atlantic Ocean

3. The Mediterranean Sea - Black Sea

4. The Persian Gulf

5. The Bering Sea

6. Indian Ocean

7. South China Sea

8. Gulf of Mexico

9. Caribbean Sea

10. Artic Sea

  The areas around Israel: The first possibility is the Mediterranean & Black Sea. An asteroid would wipe out Israel (a coastal nation), Egypt, Lebanon. These nations exist until the end (the battles of prophecy indicate this- Dan 11:45). Ships of Chittim come against antichrist (this is the region of Cypress- Dan. 11:30).

  The second possibility is the Persian Gulf (the oil region). The kings of the east go across the Euphrates River (the river dries up- Rev. 16:12). The spirits are loosed from the Euphrates River (Rev. 9:14). The antichrist will be over the oil places of Medina (Dan. 11:24). The antichrist kingdom experiences darkness (Rev. 16:10). The kingdom of the beast (10 kings) experience darkness, and heat gnaws tongues! (Rev. 16:9-10). Here are the main points: The king of the north is active (Dan. 11:40). The king of the south is active (Dan. 11:40). The kings of the east are active (Rev. 16:12). The west is missing in the future.
