Psalm 150 Names of God Bible (NOG)

Psalm 150

Hallelujah!

Praise El in his holy place.
Praise him in his mighty heavens.
Praise him for his mighty acts.
Praise him for his immense greatness.
Praise him with sounds from horns.
Praise him with harps and lyres.
Praise him with tambourines and dancing.
Praise him with stringed instruments and flutes.
Praise him with loud cymbals.
    Praise him with crashing cymbals.

Let everything that breathes praise Yah!

Hallelujah!

  • In my reading this scripture, it brings back when I first seriously received Christ in my life, when I was real, God had already planted a praise down on the inside of me, He was waiting for me open my mouth and let it out. I used to be God like really here in front of everybody; wow that’s not me; but one day I was in service it all came out, and it seems as if I couldn’t stop. Real praise began to develop and was then I understood why I praise. Truly it’s because of Who He Is, also it’s what He has done, his magnificent acts, salvation through His Son; but the most of WHO HE IS; because if we don’t know Who He Is, we lose the authentic treasury within what He has done.

“Upon what account this tribute of praise is due, upon many accounts, particularly, 1. The works of his power (Ps. 150:2): Praise him for his mighty acts; for his mightiness’s (so the word is), for all the instances of his might, the power of his providence, the power of his grace, what he has done in the creation, government, and redemption of the world, for the children of men in general, for his own church and children in particular. 2. The glory and majesty of his being: Praise him according to his excellent greatness, according to the multitude of his magnificence (so Dr. Hammond reads it); not that our praises can bear any proportion to God’s greatness, for it is infinite, but, since he is greater than we can express or conceive, we must raise our conceptions and expressions to the highest degree we can attain to. Be not afraid of saying too much in the praises of God, as we often do in praising even great and good men. We cannot speak hyperbolically of God; all the danger is of saying too little and therefore, when we have done our utmost, we must own that though we have praised him in consideration of, yet not in proportion to, his excellent greatness”.

Who must pay this tribute? (Ps. 150:6): Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.

  • Yes LORD this is one of my favorite scripture in the BIBLE AMEN. The 150 chapter of Psalms.

  • AMEN hallelujah to God be all the glory now and forever more

  • Praise Going In And Praise Coming out
    Apostle Trina Davis said:

  • Praise him as the author and finisher of our faith. He is our Living Water, Bread of Life, and The True Vine and much more...

  • Amen!!! Pastor

    Pastor Robert Napper said:

This is another way of giving Thanks though praise. Praising God is thanking Him for everything in your life.  Praise originates from the person of God
On the other hand True worship is to engage oneself in the act of
reverence and devotion to acknowledge the honor, dignity, greatness of character, and the high rank of Deity.
Worship exposes the sin of our lives.
    Worship leads to participation

    Praise is what I do!

  • The true praise of God will not just be in church but we will give God the praise when we see His the fulfillment of God goodness. Praising God with song and instruments we can also praise God with life of love and joy (1 John 4:19) with our faith (John1:7), the victory over Satan (Eph.6:10-18) a spiritual hunger or the Kingdom and righteousness (Matthew 6:33), being devoted to the word (Ps. 119), the love of God poured into our hearts by the Holy Spirit (Rom.5:5), proclamation of the gospel (Rom. 1:16) and with an expectation of His imminent return (Tit. 2:13). I wanted to share something else I read it says that praising God can take place in a  variety of ways 1. praise is a keynote in the corporate worship of God's people. 2. both in the corporate worship setting and in other places, the singing of psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs is a way to express praise to God. Why do we praise the Lord? Because of the goodness, splendor, majesty, and beauty of God.
