The Lord has been speaking to me heavily regarding the birth pains the Body of Christ is experiencing for a while now. I have received words about the calling forth of intercessors who would act as midwives and birth forth the new.

On Saturday night September 23, 2017, I went into a vision and saw the Body of Christ giving birth to something. Then all of a sudden when the Church gave birth, I came out of the vision and I could tangibly feel two things in my hand and realized I was holding twins! As I sought the Lord for the meaning of this encounter, He began to say to me that this is a year of birthing out twins and receiving double in the midst of tribulation and this coming Feast of Tabernacles will begin to mark a new season even in the midst of tribulation.

Tribulation is birth pangs that can only come when you are pregnant! Several twins will be released in this season as the synergy of the Word (Truth), Spirit (John 4:24) and goodness and mercy (Psalms 23) are working together. What the Lord brought to my attention concerning "twins" and "double" was that I was able to tangibly feel and possess what was in the spirit.

Double Portion Inheritance

The "double" represents what was given to the firstborn as their inheritance (Deuteronomy 21:17). The firstborn received a double portion not of the father, but of his other siblings because of the responsibility the eldest brother was given as the successor. The firstborn was the first fruits of the father's strength.

There is birthing of a firstfruits company that will carry the responsibility of seeing the next generation come to maturity. This double also speaks of double fruitfulness where this generation will manifest the evidence of the invisible substance of faith (Hebrews 11:1). The name Ephraim means "double fruit" and I received several words over the last few months regarding Ephraim. Here is an excerpt from a word I received to reveal what I believe the Lord is saying:

Ephraim and Manasseh

The meanings of the names Ephraim and Manasseh will be key to our advancement in this next Hebrew year, 5778. Joseph had these sons before the famine in Egypt came and they were a sign to him. His firstborn son's name Manasseh means "he made me forget all my toil or hard times and my father's house" (Genesis 41:51). The root word to Manasseh means "to forget and forgive a debt and to remove deception."

Ephraim's name means "to be fruitful in the midst of trouble" (Genesis 41:52). Manasseh was born first, yet the order of these months Ephraim is first and I believe it is a sign us. The fruit we are about to produce in the midst of troubled times will be proof to us that the pain of the past has been forgotten and its ability to deceive us into thinking we cannot overcome has been removed!

Bethlehem: The Place of Fruitfulness

The Lord was born in the place called Bethlehem, which was also referred to in Genesis 35:19 as Ephrath, "a place of fruitfulness". The Word became flesh and was birthed and "tabernacled" among us and we beheld His glory (John 1:14). Therefore this season is a picture of birthing and making the invisible visible and tangible. Just as Mary gave birth to Yeshua at the place of fruitfulness, a remnant bridal company is about to be birthed out of a place of double fruitfulness or Ephraim, as a firstfruits company carrying the responsibility of the firstborn.

Birthing and the Glory Realm

The Lord is about to bring forth the reality of the glory realm in such a way that the bride will begin to mature and look just like Yeshua! Just as Yeshua said when you see Me, you see the Father (John 14:9), the bride will declare, "When you see me you will see Yeshua!" This will not be because of her greatness, but it will be a result of complete submission to His will and death to self where they do not see us, but only Him (Galatians 2:20). She will be so hidden in the bosom of her Bridegroom that she will not be found. His life will become her life as she comes into the reality that her life is hidden IN HIM (Colossians 3:3).
