Defeated Foe or Confident Warrior…….The Decision is Yours!

“But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:19

If we were to take a quick poll of those who are operating in leadership positions within the body of Christ; we would readily discover that many are operating from the mentally of “defeat” instead of “confidence”.

Today ask yourself from which platform you are truly functioning.  Does your confidence in the promises of God end at the onset of the least little “boo” from the enemy’s camp?  If so… you’re a Defeated Foe!  Has your level of faith still not matured to the state where you can place your petitions before the Lord; according to 1 John 5:14 & 15 and move on?  If not….. you’re a Defeated Foe!   Are you still “hoping” that the situations will change after you’ve confidently made all of your decrees and declarations?  If so… you’re living your life as a Defeated Foe!

A warrior is one who maintains the mindset of victory.  They can’t be conquered!  Even in the event that the outcome of a given situation may appear to show signs of loss – a true warrior always wins!  Why?  Because a true warrior has the mental stability and maturity to remain focused on their target – regardless.  It doesn’t matter the nature nor the source of their opposition, they will remain focused in the midst of any situation.

  • A true warrior knows that they may encounter disappointing situations, but THEY are never defeated …because they triumph in every situation (2 Corinthians 2:14).
  • A confident warrior will have many battle scars – yet they will still say and mean – “Though he slay me, yet will I hope in him; I will surely defend my ways to his face” (Job 13:15).
  • A confident warrior will genuinely believe that their hope and trust are in the Lord. (And now, Lord, what wait I for? my hope is in thee. Ps 39:7).
  • A confident warrior will “Always and ALWAY” (w/o the “s”) – have a Praise in their hearts and a shout in their mouth ( 34:1).
  • A confident warrior never quits – but maintains the tenacity of a bull dog.
  • A confident warrior is NEVER impressed nor surprised by anything that emanates from the enemy’s camp – but views every circumstance as an opportunity for God to do the miraculous and His name to be glorified!

So, I ask again – Which are you… Defeated Foe or Confident Warrior?

Your works, words and lifestyle tell the story!

Turbulence Onboard?? ... Adjust your Altitude!

“Moreover [let us also be full of joy now!] let us exult and triumph in our troubles and rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that pressure and affliction and hardship produce patient and unswerving endurance. And endurance (fortitude) develops maturity of character (approved faith and tried integrity). And character [of this sort] produces [the habit of] joyful and confident hope of eternal salvation. Such hope never disappoints or deludes or shames us, for God’s love has been poured out in our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.”  Romans 5:3-5 AMP

Simply because God has called us to walk in and to live by a lifestyle that is governed by His statues, promises and provision; our walk should be quite different from the walk of most of the people which we encounter on a daily basis.   Our walk should be different because we have learned the art of how to handle those unexpected, yet expected bumps in the road.  Our walk should be different because we have learned that every situation in our lives has been preordained by our Master Pilot – who is always on board.  Therefore, when any type of “turbulence” arises – we only need to adjust our altitude to the degree that will bring us back to stabilization!

There are various types of turbulence which may occur at any given time.  Certain types are only typical to specific elements and environments.  Therefore because we are all different, we will all experience various elements which have been individualized just for us.  The degree of turbulence is dependent upon various factors.  However, it doesn’t matter… whatever the level or type of turbulence that may appear –again; I reiterate:  we only need to adjust our altitude to the degree that will bring us back to stabilization.

When we correlate our lives to an aircraft, sometimes we can experience turbulence because we are “flying to low”.  In other words we have become too comfortable in our current spiritual walk.  We are not advancing… we are simply standing in the same place, in the realm of the spirit.  Therefore God has to “upset our apple cart”.  He has to permit some type of contrary wind to blow to force us to get out of our comfort zone. .. and to progress or advance in our ministry, calling or giftings.

Then there may be times when we experience turbulence because we are flying in the wrong direction.  We have become like Jonah and decided that WE know what’s best… and that God really doesn’t have a clue in this day and age what’s of value!  So He (God) has to permit a little turbulence to get us back on course.  Or we may be flying in the wrong direction because we are not spiritually alert and have not noticed that the winds have shifted in the realm of the spirit.  Our spiritual radars have become out of sync because we are still using outdated technology in the realm of the spirit… symbolic to using a typewriter in 2023!   Therefore, we are not detecting currently released diabolical plots, plans and schemes correctly….we are flying in the wrong direction, at the wrong altitude AND can’t even detect it!

Then, there may be times when we are moving at the correct speed.  The conditions are “A- one”, and a turbulent wind comes for no apparent reason.  During these times our Master Pilot is simply testing us.  Not to see what we will do – for He is omniscient.. and  already knows all things.  His testing is permitting us and our adversary to see the advancements that we have made.  God is giving satan permission to try us as He gave him the permission to try Job.  (Although Job still had a lot of issues!) Yes, sometimes God is permitting us to be placed on an open display for others to see His handiwork in us!

God wants us to be so totally dependent upon His love for us; that we will experience EVERY turbulent situation without even knowing or negatively acknowledging that it has occurred!

We’ve often heard the statement, “Mind Over Matter”.  Although not a biblical statement – it can have biblical implications.  There are various scriptures that refer to “the mind”.  When we learn the process of mind renewal; and when we learn to let the mind of Christ govern us – then… whatever turbulent winds may arise – we will quickly and automatically adjust our altitude …. And continue to soar as an eagle.

In this season let’s be more focused on our spiritual radars.   Ask God for the manifestation of a sharper and keener degree of discernment on today than that of yesterday.    Be determined that as you advance in this season, you will do so….so absorbed in who God is, that whatever occurs, and whenever it occurs, you will peacefully and calmly ride through your turbulent winds.

Stay so in tuned with God your Master Pilot and His love for you, that every negative or turbulent wind will not cause you to fret or become overly concerned….. You will simply adjust your altitude to the degree, that will bring you back to stabilization and you will continue to journey on!

So, whenever the turbulent winds occur always adjust your altitude.  Remember that the first rule of thumb is to maintain your FOCUS and remain calm.  Stay so connected to the Lord that nothing will totally “catch” you off guard.   Next, know that the endurance of turbulent winds is only temporary.   Refuse to worry.  Stand firmly on the Word of God, remembering that HE is always our very PRESENT help in the time of every storm.  Lastly, learn from every storm and turbulent condition how to progress through the next turbulent occurrence (because it will arise!)

Stand Firm …And Doubt Not !

  Stand Firm

…And Doubt Not

“Verily I say unto you, if ye have faith, and doubt not……” Matthew 21:21

Our limited concept of the miraculous power and authority of God can often be compared to that which was housed in the minds of the Biblical disciples. Although they had actually seen the demonstrated displays of Jesus’ power, the Bible states that they marveled and they seemed amazed with the rapid results of Jesus’ spoken words (Matthew 21:20).  What is even more interesting is the fact that Jesus declared, that after all that they had seen – they still lacked in their ability to understand who He was.  Most importantly they didn’t fully comprehend who TEYHEHHhhhhhHEY were because of their relationship to Him.  Jesus responded to their insecurities and named them “doubt”; informing the disciples that even though one has faith – doubt can’t be on board.

Today, we are often encased in that same “prison” of doubt.  Doubt has established invisible barriers around our minds and has prevented us from understanding and really gasping who we actually are in Christ.  We fail to experience the enormous amount of power that belongs to us simply because we permit doubt to: enter in……get a latte….. sit back and get comfortable!

So I present a challenge to you: Refuse to permit this spirit to control your actions any longer.  How is this done? By the continual process of “Identification and Eviction”.  Daily we must move in the confidence that is established in the Word of God.  Therefore, when doubt attempts to surface – acknowledge it; then cancel the effects of its power and evict it by SAYING the Word of God.  Don’t doubt yourself! …And especially don’t doubt the power of the  Word of God.  You must know and remember… If I can think it – (and it’s legal!) I can do it!

When Jesus walked the earth, He did what no other person had ever done prior to His existence.  Why? To give to us the example that we have been empowered by our God to manifest on this earth what other gods of other religions can’t produce.  He was the living example FOR us, to demonstrate TO us, some of the things that we should be accomplishing.  However, we must rid ourselves of doubt.

Doubt comes to:

D – Destroy; O – Override; U – Upset; B – Bind; and to T – Threaten.

To Destroy our dreams and hopes.

To Override God’s power and authority.

To Upset our foundation of faith that has previously been established.

To Bind us by limiting and forbidding our progress.

To Threaten us by making us presuppose the worst. (And then he (doubt) brings in his “roadie” FEAR!)

Make a conscience decision to actually DO what God has placed in your heart, mind and spirit to accomplish.  Come into an agreement with; and a oneness with the plans that the Lord has for your life.

Refer back to the recorded story of when the people were attempting to erect the tower of Babel. The Bible said… and NOTHING shall be impossible for them because they are of one mind (Genesis 11:1-7). If we, as people can accomplish anything that we desire when we become “as one”….. can you imagine what would result if we ever totally became  “as one”… and in total agreement with God (John 17:21)?

So, as of today make a conscious decision to… be bound… not more!  Be deceived ….no more. Take the limits off.  Send the spirit of doubt a memo by: Text, FB, Twitter or Instagram.  Inform him that all future performances have been cancelled!

Inform the spirit of doubt that as of today it has received an eviction notice – effective immediately.  Openly declare that every residual impact is null and void.   Replace this spirit with the Peace of the Lord.  Now…. Begin to BOLDLY walk in your authority!

Invisible Scars – Are Now Victory Banners!

Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort; Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.”                                                              II Corinthians 1:3&4

When we usually refer to scars, our minds tend to envision some type of mark on the surface of our skin which has resulted from an injury.  Scars can also occur as the result of: surgical procedures, burns, acne and from some diseases (like chickenpox).  Whatever initiated the problem, the fact still remains that there was an abnormal break in or trauma to the skin, which then healed, and now a scar has formed.

We all have scars.  However, some of the scars that we have “earned” can’t be seen.   There are those which have resulted from injuries which have occurred to and affected our hearts and our minds.  Invisible scars.  When we have scars on our skin, we can see them and then we can understand, why we react the way that we do to certain stimuli or in certain situations.  However, when we have invisible scars; in many instances, we aren’t even aware of the fact that they exist!

Scars are constant reminders of yesterday.   Yet, if I can’t “see” the scars, (and I don’t know how to spiritually discern and analyze them) I may not remember or understand my reactions in certain situations. For example, a sever burn on my arm, may have resulted in a permeant scar,  which is a reminder of the traumatic experience.  However, when the scar is internal, invisible I must rely on the Holy Spirit to avail the proper reference point.

No one can bear a scar from an incident that has not yet transpired. Therefore, my scars are those connectors to my past, which reveal areas where the skin was once sensitive, and pain once occurred.  Some scars are permanent.  Yet, when the skin under the scar has healed – there is no more pain in that area.  Although the scar may remain – the pain is gone.

So, it must be with our invisible scars.  Many incidents may have left permanent scars on our minds and in our hearts.  However, we must allow the Holy Spirit to bring healing to our total being – body, mind and spirit.  We will no longer allow our past hurts, failures, disappoints, etc. to remain “open sores” in our lives….only HEALED scars!  We may not have any control over the healing process that occurs in and on our skin.  However, we do have the ability to advance or delay the healing process of our inner being.  (Lesson for another time!)

Ask the Holy Spirit to reveal to you any areas where your invisible scars haven’t completely healed and remain to be like an “oozing wound”.

Invisible scars, once healed can and should be used as victory banners to wave to others – proclaiming the faithfulness of the Lord.  They will also be reminders to us of God’s power to bring healing to those areas which at one time only yielded total despair and devastation.  Scars may remain – but the pain MUST subside….and vanish!

“All praise to the God and Father of our Master, Jesus the Messiah! Father of all mercy! God of all healing counsel! He comes alongside us when we go through hard times, and before you know it, he brings us alongside someone else who is going through hard times so that we can be there for that person just as God was there for us. We have plenty of hard times that come from following the Messiah, but no more so than the good times of his healing comfort—we get a full measure of that, too.”  II Corinthians 1:3-5 (The Message Bible)

Giants DO Fall…..But That’s Only Phase One!

“For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.”  Ephesians 6:12 ESV

Sometimes we get so excited when we have made an accomplishment or gained a victory in the realm that we forget to return to “tie up” the remaining loose ends.

REMEMBER: Nothing in life is unconquerable. Romans 8:37 reminds us of this.  God’s love for us assures us of the fact that we are more than conquerors.  Now..To be more than a conqueror means that I have the assurance, that there isn’t any circumstance which will arise, where I don’t have the power to be victorious!  To be more than a conqueror means that I have learned that every challenge is a challenge because I view it from that perspective.

Therefore, my mind must be renewed to the extent that I have learned to rest in the loving arms of God – REGARLESS!  Without any reservation, I must always remember and know that I can’t be defeated… simply because every battle has already been won. Therefore, every giant WILL fall.

Now… usually the difficulty arises after we’ve stood in faith and caused our “giants” to fall.  After we’ve received major victories and breakthroughs; after we’ve been the recipient of accolades – now is when we must remember….that was only phase one.   In other words; after that giant of sickness has been slain and you’ve been healed; how do you maintain your healing?  After the giant of debt has been slain – how do you maintain your debt free status?  So, whatever your giant – after it has been slain – you must realize that the journey has just begun!

How do we maintain our “giant free” status?  When we refer to the story of David and Goliath we can observe that David didn’t stop by just killing the giant.  He cut of his head as a sign, as a memento, or symbol of victor So - How do I “cut off the head” of my giant?  In other words, how can I make a “statement”… a sign of the victory that my giant is defeated , stripped of its power, rendered useless…and no longer has the ability to return?  How can I stand in the faith that’s required to remain vigilant?   What must I now do to retain all that I’ve accomplished?

Here are some suggestions:

  1. By establishing…. even prior to its defeat, a strategy that will prevent that giant from the ability of re-gaining access in the future.
  2. Making vital amendments to my thinking by: altering the material that I’m reading, watching and listening to…. And most of all the people who are in my immediate circle.
  3. Stay alert in the realm of the Spirit (sharpen your discernment). Speak faith-filled words (no self-sabotage).  Stand on the Word of God – without respect to what you SEE in the natural (Find a scripture to substantiate or validate your deliverance and quote it throughout the day).

Remember EVERY giant will fall…but when it falls… their big brother is waiting for an opportunity of revenge and looking for every open door or unsecured window!

“Then goeth he, and taketh with himself seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter in and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first. Even so shall it be also unto this wicked generation.” Matthew 12:45

Brokenness = Maturity

Brokenness = Maturity

My sacrifice, O God, is a broken spirit; ……. Psalm 51:17

Simply put….God desires to take you to an added dimension in Him.  However you are still lacking the required maturity. This normally occurs as the result of an area in your life that is still not totally broken before the Lord.

When we refer to various Biblical patriarchs we can observe that they all had to experience a season of brokenness prior to being used mightily for the Lord.  One of the keys to brokenness is to place the flesh under subjection through fasting.

In our modern culture here in America, we have expanded the concept of fasting to incorporate the meaning of “the abstinence of”……whatever. We are, in many instances not referring to food; but abstaining from various activities, mindsets and behavioral patterns.

However, when we refer to the Hebrew word used in the Bible for fasting, TSOM (pronounced ts-oom), it means to cover the mouth.  Then the Greek word, nesteia (pronounced nace-ty-oo), means to abstain from food.  So we could conclude that both the Old and New Testaments place the emphasis on “food”.  (Although some have expanded the meaning to incorporate food for our mind and spirit as well as our body.)

Could the reason why true brokenness hasn’t occurred be that we’ve attempted to alter its original definition?  Could it be that we have replaced instead of enhanced?  Without regards to any additional concepts – fasting must; according to the Biblical definitions; at some point include an abstaining from food.

God needs us to be totally free IN Him – to be totally used OF Him.  He needs and is requiring of us a deeper relationship WITH Him.  He is requiring that our minds operate from a level of maturity which is representative of one who is broken from any and everything that doesn’t resemble Him.

Consider these types of fast as you deepen your relationship with the Lord.

Elijah’s Fast – I Kings 19

Widow’s Fast – I Kings 17:8-16

Paul’s Fast – Acts 9:9

Daniel’s Fast – Daniel 1:8-14; 10:3

John’s Fast – John 1:6 &7

Esther’s Fast – Esther 4

This IS the season of breakthrough.  God has broken through, broken out and broken up everything in the realm of the spirit that has been a bondage, a noose or an anchor.  He has broken through diabolical plots and plans.  He has cleared the atmosphere of every lingering spirit that has once held us captive.

Now we must do our part.  We must align, renew and fortify the spirits of our minds; thus permitting them to become broken; and now mature enough to reap supernaturally all of the benefits which we now possess.  An immature unbroken spirit will not have the ability to advance in this new dimension.  God has begun to shower those who are ready; those who are mature enough to reap this harvest.   However, many will not even have the maturity to be able to comprehend or to understand fully this move of God…and sadly to say – they will not even have knowledge  of, or have the ability to comprehend this new season!

In this season maturity is the key.  God needs to use YOU to do great exploits….. but you still need to obtain a level of maturity that only true brokenness has birthed!

To Receive Your “Suddenly” Breakthrough…

Don’t Miss The Sound!

“And when you shall HEAR the sound of marching in the top of the mulberry trees, then you shall advance quickly.”  I Chronicles 14:15

We are still under the guidance of our “Suddenly” God.  The Lord, our Baal Perazim (the God of Breakthrough) is yet confirming His position in our current battle.  Just as He was with David, He is reminding us that His wisdom still supersedes that of the adversary.  Just as He broke through for David – He is suddenly breaking through for us.  However, there are always guidelines that we must adhere to in order to receive our “suddenly”.

When reading this story in II Samuel we discovered that Baal Perazim required David’s response to be quick and at precisely the right time.  Let’s consider the plateau from which David operated.

  1. David had to know the voice of the Lord.
  2. David had to remain alert and attentive in the realm of the spirit.
  3. David had to already have his weapons and be positioned offensively.

When we attempt to correlate this story to our daily lives, we must remember that:

  1. David sought the Lord for direction prior to the onset of the battle.
  2. The Lord went before David and “Broke Through” the front line of the enemy’s defense.
  3. Whatever the Lord has done before, He still has the power to do again.

I found it interesting that David was told to LISTEN for a certain sound. If we are going to know exactly when to advance, conquer and reclaim our territory; then we must critique or fine tune our ability to recognize a specific sound. Far too often we are listening to and follow the wrong sound!  David’s specific sound was the sound of marching.  Are you aware of the sound that God is using in your life as a form of confirmation?

Next, the sound was in a designated place - the tree tops.  Not on the ground, nor in the air, but in the top of the mulberry trees.  This fact reminds us that the specific sound will resonate from a specific, designated destination….. to the ear of one who has the sensitivity and the discernment to hear!

So, because Baal Perazim had already preceded David, he (David) was able to be victorious.

Our God is still operating as Baal Perazim today.  He has broken through the front line of defense in our enemy’s territory and is permitting us to recover all!  But we must LISTEN for our specific marching orders.

Don’t permit there to be a delay in receiving your “suddenly” blessings because you didn’t hear or recognize the voice of God concerning His specific instructions; advising you how and when to advance - and recover all!

Just as David did…. Seek the face of God, Listen for the Sound, and March your way to victory. Expect your “Suddenly Blessings” to manifest…. TODAY……SUDDENLY!!!!!!

Identity Crisis

Identity Crisis

“But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a dedicated nation, [God’s] own purchased, special people, that you may set forth the wonderful deeds and display the virtues and perfections of Him Who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.  I Peter 2:9 AMP

Today, if we were to take a poll; we would discover that far too many people who profess to believe the Bible to be God’s unadulterated Word; don’t fully comprehend its total message.   Therefore as a result, the entire world is suffering and operating at a level which is inferior or subordinate to its ultimate ability.

We, the body of Christ, appear to be impaired by not knowing the power nor the authority that we possess. We have been limited in our abilities simply because we don’t know who we really are.  In others words, we have been constrained by an “Identity Crisis”.

An identity crisis can occur when a person, or a group of people fail to recognize the relevancy of their innate characteristics and proceed to function from a position of their mental comprehension.  Their lives are governed from the sensory ream instead of the spiritual ream. Thus, those people who are supposed to be displaying the superior characteristics of being the head; are exhibiting the inferior features of the tail.  Those who are called to be that light which shines so brightly in EVERY situation or circumstance; attempt to blend into this world and its customs, ideologies, and methodologies.  Therefore, WE have hindered ourselves simply because …as Hosea expresses; we have a lack of the knowledge of who we are…. And we are being destroyed!

I would like to challenge you today to think, walk and talk “outside of your box”.  God has begun to catapult us into our wealthy places.  He has begun to permit the return… with interest… of all that we have lost.  However, unless we break this mold of the Identity Crisis; we will not have the ability to maintain our returns.  Refuse to walk in the footprints of yesterday.  Be determined to advance your current status daily.   Change something, enhance your vocabulary and increase yourself in some capacity daily.  Seek the wisdom of the Holy Ghost for guidance.  Remember, God has a great work for YOU to accomplish. However, you must begin to suffer no longer from the effects of an Identity Crisis; but to walk as God’s authoritative voice in and on the earth…. Knowing who you are, Whose you are and What you are called to accomplish!

No More Free Rides!!!

No More Free Rides!!!

Although many of you have read this prayer on other occasions, however, simply because we are now in a new place, it is necessary to address this spirit of fear in relationship to our current stature.  We can no longer permit this spirit to enjoy free rides and unlimited access to us.   We must never become overly confident concerning the influence of this spirit.  Seek the face of God; asking Him to reveal any residue that might yet remain.  Also, ask Him to reveal to you an enhanced dimension of this spirit that you have not previously experienced, but are now equipped to conquer!

*********************************************************************************

                                                                                               FEAR BE GONE!!! ©2003

Father God in the name of Jesus, I denounce the spirit of fear in my life.  As of this day, I forbid the spirit of fear to dominate, reign or sit passively in any area of my life.

Holy Spirit, I surrender right now to you my entire being.  I ask that you reveal to me now every area of my life where ungodly fear is present.  Every area in my conscience or sub-conscience arena where fear may have a stronghold.  Any area from my past where fear has been the comfort zone.  Reveal every open door that satan has used to bring fear into my life.

Lord God, your word declares that your perfect love will cast out, drive away, eradicate and will replace fear.  So Father, I come to you now and ask that you reveal to me your perfect love in every area of my being.  Your love that will not fail.  Your love that is unconditional.  Your love that is incomprehensive to my natural man, - but is conceivable in the spirit realm.

Father, as I have asked the Holy Spirit to reveal the entrances where fear has entered, I ask you for the wisdom needed to close every open door. I decree those doors closed, shut, sealed - never to be opened again.

I will now begin the process to renew my mind – daily.  I will develop a new appetite which desires your decreed will for my life – freed from every diabolical hindrance.

I thank you Father God for my new found freedom in you now that the weight of fear is gone. Hallelujah!

 In Jesus’ Name.  Amen!

It’s Been Revealed

It’s Been Revealed

“But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.” I Corinthians 2:10

We are now in the “season” when it is imperative that we push pass our previous limitations.  Many of these boundaries and the mindsets have been established in us by those whose knowledge and experiences with God were “shallow”.  We must not continue to “pour the new wine” into “old wine skins”.   Simply because we are operating from a different plateau and a new dimension; we must continually seek the face of God if we are going to be effective and operate in the wisdom of God.

One prime example can be illustrated as we read our key verse for today.  Most people can accurately quote the preceding verse, verse 9 (“But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.”); and they have stopped at that verse for years.  However, if we just advance to the very next verse, we will view the entire concept from a different perspective.

God wants us to always remain cognitive of the fact that we must not rely on our own wisdom (the wisdom of man) – but walk fully confident and aware of who He truly is (His wisdom).  He has revealed to each of us His intents, concepts and precepts – but only according to the level of our maturity in Him.  His desire is to unfold to us daily new revelations of Himself; as well as new strategies – end-time strategies….. but are we positioned to receive?  Are you still drinking milk when you should be able to tolerate a solid food?  Or as Hebrews 5:12 states, “In fact, though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you the elementary truths of God's word all over again. You need milk, not solid food!” (NIV)

The door is now open, and access has been granted.   What cannot be seen or imagined in the physical realm – has been revealed and can be observed in the realm of the spirit.  The sky isn’t the limit – for in this perpetual season… there is no limit to what God will do for YOU.  Recondition or reprogram your mind to accept that fact – there is not limit!  There is also an open portal. A portal being an opening in the realm of the spirit; which permits access from one realm into another.  Therefore, we are now privy to God’s favor in a fashion that we have not previously known!  Hallelujah!!  However there is a key factor that must be used.  The key in this season is to not cancel or sabotage your own destiny by the WORDS that you are speaking!  Ask God to daily renew your mind with end-time concepts and precepts….end-time strategies and end-time wisdom.  Then, as your mind is renewed; your vocabulary will reveal the same.

In this perpetual season….. we must remember that the stage has been set.  “Revelation” has been made available to us and has laid the foundation.  “Illumination” has availed her wisdom …… therefore, it’s time for “Manifestation” to erect her pillar and to take the center stage!

“Glory to God, who is able to do far beyond all that we could ask or imagine by his power at work within us;”   Ephesians 3:20 (CEB)

Former Habits, Mindsets, Desires, Actions ….

Are They Dead or Dormant?

Read Ephesians 6:10-18

As we progress and grow towards becoming that “profitable” servant; we should discover that many of our ungodly habits and desires appear to no longer be present…which is a great accomplishment.  However, as my Grandmother would say, “Every shut eye ain’t sleep”.

The Lord wants to deliver us from everything that would hinder our walk with Him.  Yet in many instances, we have mistaking thought that we have been delivered from a particular spirit when we really haven’t. Sometimes we’ve eliminated the fruit – but not the root.  For example, we may have seemingly had an issue with: uncontrolled anger, envy, or extreme competition. However, we may not realize that these are only the fruit which have been produced.  The seed or master spirit here may be jealousy or pride.  So I may have dealt with the fruit – yet the root is still lying dormant within me – waiting….sometimes for years to manifest itself again in a different type of fruit.  (I’m really trying to keep this as elementary as possible… I know that some of you have no clue as to what in the world I’m referring to!  However, just hang in there…put this one on the shelf and come back to it later! LOL!)

So, we must ask the Holy Spirit to reveal to us any of the areas in our lives where we think that we have received a “healing”, or deliverance.  We must make certain that whatever appears to no longer be prevalent in our lives, is truly dead….and not just still sitting around….dormant.   (Now…if you are one of those “perfect” people who really can’t see any areas in your life that need to be altered – let me help you a little. Your number one culprit is pride!)

Therefore, because we are living in these endtimes, we can’t make assumptions.  We must make certain that total deliverance has occurred in various areas of our lives – and that we are truly dead in those areas.  We can’t afford to have an issue surface at an inopportune time   – that we thought was gone!  When we are aware of an unresolved issue in our lives; then we can avoid the “triggers” until we are totally delivered.  However, if we aren’t aware of the fact that an issue is still on board – the results could prove to be disastrous!

Lastly, the Lord is telling me to remind/inform you that deliverance will not be obtained through professional counseling.   It matters not whether the counseling is rendered by a Spiritual (Born again) or Secular Counselor.  The victory over spirits will not be obtained through counseling! It requires deliverance not counseling.  Attempting to counsel a spirit is synonymous to applying a band-aid to a broken leg and wondering why it won’t heal; or why it healed improperly!

However, once an ungodly spirit is dead (and not dormant); once we have been delivered from it …. then we can seek the proper secular counseling; if it is still necessary. (Luke 11:24-26)

So just be certain that issues that you once encountered; without regards to how major or minor they may seem to be; … have truly been bound; which means to be stripped of their power and rendered no longer effective.  Be certain that they have been cast out….. and that they are not merely lying dormant….. awaiting an opportunity to surface ….at just the WRONG time!

Confrontation is a Must

Read: Nehemiah 4

When we observe the photographs of the warriors and soldiers who were engaged in battle, we will notice that their armor and/or protective gear only covered the front of their bodies.  Therefore, they were only prepared to have a face to face encounter with their enemy.  Their armor offered minimal or no protection for their backs.  They had to keep their enemy in front of them and never permit their enemies to approach them from the back – as this would surely cost them their lives.  Their attitude wasn’t passive, their mindset was sure, and their weapons were in hand.

Today, we must remember that we are still builders of the wall.  As we continue to build our impenetrable, impermeable barrier; we must also maintain the stamina which is required to boldly and confidently confront every force that will oppose us.  We can’t just sit around, and forget that we are constantly engaged in a war!  We must have the mindset that “I” will stand up and attack any and everything that is not “God ordained”.

Therefore, I must always bear in mind that my spiritual armor must remain intact at all times.  I can’t for one iota lose sight of my enemy.  I must observe his tracks, and confront him BEFORE he makes his next move!  It is imperative that my attack to not reactive – but proactive.  I must also know my weapons and how to use them - if my confrontation is to make an impact.

So to summarize (Read II Corinthians 10:1-6):

Confrontation is the most effective when it is initiated in the realm of the spirit.

Confrontation is strategically implemented when it is motivated by the spirit.

Confrontation is a vital requirement for every successful endtime saint of God.

Confrontation mandates that I gird up the loins of my mind.

Confrontation refuses to permit any: idea, motive or action which is contrary to God’s written Word to manifest its self in my presence.

I must remember….Whatever I fail to confront – receives my stamp of approval!

LEADERS! Be Authentic!

Don’t Be An Imposter!

“You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot.”  St. Matthew 5:13

There are two substances, which many of us normally experience some type of interaction with on a regular basis.  Although from a distance, one could be mistaken for the other – however, their molecular composition is quite different.

The two substances in question are: table salt and sugar.  While both have the ability when viewed by the natural eye, to share certain characteristics in appearance, color, and shape – the substitution of one for the other would prove to provide catastrophic results!  Both are solvable in hot liquids; yet, someone would never desire to add a teaspoon of salt instead of a teaspoon of sugar to their favorite morning mug.  Disastrous result would occur.  On the other hand, if one attempted to use sugar as a preservative – devastation and ruinous effects would be inevitable.

When we refer to our reference scripture, we can observe that Jesus informed his disciples that they were to be the salt of the earth.  Ye are the salt of the earth.  What exactly is the implication of this statement?  Jesus was informing His disciples of the power and the authority that they possessed.  He was using a substance that they were very familiar with…. Salt.  They were neither privy to nor equipped with the modern mechanics or mechanisms of our current era.  Salt was to them the common commodity - containing the multi-faceted ability to serve numerous capacities. Therefore for Jesus to use this analogy, the implication of its impact on the minds of the disciples was extremely enlightening!  Jesus was informing them that they had been entrusted with the ability to bring to the earth every quality that they knew was common to salt.  In essence, they were to bring to the earth Purification, Preservation, and Protection.

In our society, we have too many Leaders who possess the delicate character qualities of the simplistic nature of sugar, rather than those characteristics which are common to the complex durability of salt.  We are faced with the consequences of Leaders who are imposters!  Leaders who desire to display their ecclesiastical titles and the like instead of possessing and exemplifying the fruit of the spirit –They are IMPOSTERS!  Leaders who are displaying and living undisciplined and ungodly lifestyles – IMPOSTERS!  Leaders who are not attempting to aggressively seek the face of God on a daily basis – IMPOSTERS!  …. And what is even more damaging are those leaders who are confusing others by adding a stamp of approval to compromise – IMPOSTERS!

If we are going to equip the body of Christ with the tools necessary to be salt rather than sugar, we must be the first partakers.  Leaders we must stand up for and adhere to those guidelines for righteous living that are ascribed in our Holy Bible.  It matters not what our judicial system dictates or deems correct.  If their statements are in contradiction with the Word of God – we are to obey God.

Leaders - Stand Up for the Word of God….Trust the authority of God…… and above all don’t compromise or negate your mandate to be the true SALT and not SUGAR.

                                                          NO MORE IMPOSTERS!!!!!

Slow down…Be Kind!

Slow down…Be Kind!

“Kindness can only be sown from a heart that is tender.”

“Elohay Chasdi”

(The God of my Kindness - Psalm 59:11)

Love is patient, love is kind…... I Corinthians 13:4

Read Psalm 59 & I Corinthians 13

It has been said that our actions speak louder than our words.  The Bible states, “Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as Christ God forgave you.” (Ephesians 4:32 NIV).   I should always remain cognizant of the fact that if I constantly maintain a disposition of unforgiveness; I will be prevented from possessing the ability to express kindness to others.

So Lord, I ask that you reveal to me anything within me that is yet hindering me from the ability to show compassion, gentleness and thoughtfulness to EVERYONE.  May I not be bias in my actions, but develop a renewed mindset that has become yielding to the extent, that I have the ability to communicate your unconditional love to everyone that I encounter.

May the spirit of pride never mask its self in me, thus manifesting in an: unkind, arrogant, haughty, rancorous, vindictive, egotistical, overly confident, heart.  May I never forget, because   of my own pain, hurt or “convenient amnesia”; the countless acts of kindness that you have displayed and are yet displaying to me.   May I operate daily from that platform.

May my desire to show kindness become more than a mere desire; but become an automatic response especially to those who are not expressing that character quality to me.

May I rapidly mature to the extent that I will become aware of every selfish motive that I still possess…. and actively make the necessary amendments.  May I also realize that I need not “feel” like being kind….. to produce the action. because it is a mindset.

Therefore, I decree, as of today; that I have made a conscience DECISION to be kind. Holy Spirit I ask that you bring to mind strategies that will permit me the ability to outwit the enemy when he attempts to provoke me to be unkind.

Thanks  “Elohay Chasdi” for every expression of kindness that you have extended to me…. and may I now ….in every situation reciprocate the same.

Who Opened That Door?

Who Opened That Door?

“Be not deceived” Galatians 6:7a

There is a saying here in America that states, “All that glitters is not gold.” In other words, everyone and everything that appears to be authentic at a glance; is not always what it or they seem to be. This is particularly true in the realm of the spirit.  Someone or something may seem to emit a certain “weightiness” in the realm of the spirit; however, a closer examination will reveal the truth.  Don’t be deceived by what your physical eyes may behold!

The spirit of Deception is running more rampantly, and rapidly than in previous times.  We must therefore enhance our ability to quickly discern the authentic actions of the Lord; apart from the imposturous, deceptions of our adversary.

We must also remember that every open door was not opened by the Lord.  Every new opportunity is not always the answer to your prayer! In our attempt to advance, we must not become anxious. Trust the Word of God and wait for Him.  God will never, ever permit or present to us an open door or an opportunity - which in any fashion cannot be aligned with His recorded promises.  The Lord will never open a door whose entrance will lead us to compromise nor negate our relationship with Him….. nor will He ever present us with an opportunity where we must compromise our allegiance to Him.  It is imperative that now, more that ever we KEEP OUR FOCUS!!!

In I John 4:1 we are reminded that we must not merely accept what appears to be ordained of God. “Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.”

Accompanying advancement and elevation are the introduction of an array of open doors.  Therefore, prior to entering into any open door, be certain of its validity.  Prior to entering into any open door, be certain that you maintain your “alertness” in the realm of the spirit.  Be anxious for nothing!  God’s open doors are accompanied by His peace and His assurance.  When uncertain about embarking or venturing into a new area; WAIT and seek the face of God.

Always remember that far too often, the adversary desires to make YOU sabotage your own destiny by enticing you to move in the incorrect timing.

So, again, I reiterate … prior to entering into any open door, proceed with caution, stay alert and above all, you must know who has opened the door!

“Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the Lord.”  Psalm 27:14

Where is God?

Where is God?

“The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God……….”     Psalm 14:1

When we consider the word “heart” we can observe that it is composed of several smaller words.  To name a few we have: he, ear, art, and hear.

  1. That reminds me that there is an “ART” to way that God composed my heart.
  2. “HE” must always govern my “EAR” so that I will “HEAR” exactly what I should permit to enter my “HEART”.

So now … Where is God?  What place or position have I given to Him with regards to my heart?  What is flowing from my heart?  Do my actions imitate those which openly declare that there is no God?  Have I purposed in my heart to permit it to be governed by what I’ve heard from Him?

Well,…. as one proceeds throughout their day; their response to whatever they may encounter; will reflect the position of authority and obedience that God reserves within their heart.  We must daily ask ourselves, “Are my: attitude, disposition, reasonings, decisions, temperament, etc. controlled by a heart that may indicate to others “There is No God”?”

I must have an ear to hear the voice of the Lord so that I will have the ability to guard my

HEART.  Far too often we have permitted our own opinions or the opinions of those who we thought were leading us correctly, to clog our spiritual ears.  Therefore we have permitted our hearts to be governed by our own thoughts – and by what WE reasoned to be correct.  We’ve made foolish decisions; and usually repeated the some mistakes over and over.

To advance to the position where I can operate from the plateau which is governed by the wisdom of God; I must hear and recognize His voice.  To hear His voice I must open the ears of my heart.  To recognize His voice I must know (understand) His Word and spend time in His presence.

Again I ask the question, “Where is God”?  Prayerfully, at the end of each day; someone’s path that you’ve crossed should be able to say that they saw and/or sensed the presence of God flowing from within you.

Why?...... Because you had an EAR to HEAR what HE was instructing you to do….And your actions have been motivated from a HEART which isn’t perfect yet ….. But …which is reflecting that ART of the perfected love of the Lord.

Exchanging My Happiness for Joy

You O Lord are the source of my joy

“El SIMCHATH GILI”

(God my exceeding Joy - Psalm 43:4)

“……...This day is sacred to our Lord. Do not grieve, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.”                Nehemiah 8:10

(Read Psalm 43 and Nehemiah 8)

Today, Lord may I begin to comprehend that You ARE my joy.   May I realize that my mind must be renewed to the concept, that, my ability to remain joyful (full of joy) in the midst of adversity, is one of the battles that must be won.  Consequently Lord, I will totally understand that YOU and You alone are the nucleus of my joy.  Everything that is necessary for my “JOY” has its basis, its focus and its core emanating from You Lord.

Therefore today I invite You, El Simchath Gili to infiltrate my mind, thus permitting me to remain joyful throughout this day.  I will not allow any circumstance that may arise today cause me to lose my focus.   I will exchange and replace every temporal emotion in my mind.  I must realize, that mindset, has its foundation in happiness – which is based on the “happenings” at any given moment.  Simply because joy is centered in the spirit of man – as I delight myself in You – my spirit will be at peace; and I will obtain the ability to receive all of the benefits of having a joy filled life – regardless.

So I thank You now, El Simchath Gili for Your guidance, direction and the provision of Your “joy”.  The joy that You bring will empower me and offer to me the foundation to stand strong today and always.

Since your word has informed me that joy is a part of the fruit of the spirit; I will seek to produce the same.   I will continue to daily alter or amend my appetite in the realm of the spirit.  I will provide the proper spiritual nourishment which will ensure that the fruit which my spirit produces is not lacking in the area of joy.   I will become more aware of the fact that I must exchange those things which bring happiness with those which bring joy.   As I continue to mature in you; this will become a natural process.

Finally, may I never cease to reflect on the strength and encouragement of our patriots who walked by faith as they sang:

“This joy that I have, the world didn’t give it and the world can’t take it away.”

My Ultimate Comforter in Every Storm

 “Jehovah El Ha-Melitz

…….My Lord, My God, My Comforter

(The Lord God my Comforter - Isaiah 51:12A)

"I, even I, am the one who comforts you. Isaiah 51:12A

Read Isaiah 51:1-22

Storms don’t come to last…they come and pass!

Therefore, Oh Lord, may I always maintain my focus – regardless.  May I never permit tragedies, nor the abrupt and sudden onset or alteration of situations; to overtake, nor to overwhelm my mind.  May I always find the comfort and peace that I need, in my assurance and knowledge of who you are.

Father, may I always remain cognizant of the fact that every storm you permit me to encounter has a purpose.   You have fore warned me that in this world I will have trouble, trials, and tribulations – “storms”.  However, you have also taught me to be of good cheer because You have overcome the world and all of its adverse conditions.  Therefore, since You have successfully conquered all that this world has presented to You – I can take comfort in the fact that; through the indwelling power of the Holy Ghost, I also am an overcomer.

Lord, You have equipped us with the ability to remember the wisdom and Godly principles which were taught to us by many of our loved ones who are now with You. When I reflect, I can remember hearing the saying that the darkest hour is just before dawn.  So Lord, may I always take comfort in knowing that the sun WILL always appear again.  May I perpetually find comfort in you, Jehovah El Ha-Melitz .  May I stand in the midst of every storm and still yet declare that You are Lord. May the spirit of fear never be fueled by anything that may arise in my life; any action or any adverse words which have been released from my mouth……… because You are my ultimate comforter.

May I remember that You have orchestrated the timing and the nature of every storm in my life.  May I trust and cling to Your immutable anchor.  May I never cease to find solace in the guidance of Your omniscient and omnipotent eye.

You ARE my Jehovah El Ha-Melitz –, My LORD, My GOD, My KING,…… My COMFORTER!  Hallelujah!

Be Encouraged! Your Samuel Is On The Way!

“Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up” Galatians 6:9

The Lord has instructed me to remind you that all of your praying and all of your fasting has not been in vain.  When we consider the example which was given to us by Hannah; we can glean an insight into the diligence which is required to remain faithful…… until your “Samuel” has been manifested.

The Lord has said that we must read once again the story of Hannah (I Samuel 1.)  We must remember that Hannah’s womb was closed by the Lord.   There was nothing wrong with the seed that was sown.   The seed had been sown into good ground.  The potential of the ground to produce wasn’t the problem.  God had intervened and would not permit the ground to receive and produce the seed.

God today is saying that for many of you, you have sown good seed, into good ground; however His appointed time for your manifestation had not arrived.  He has permitted you to be ridiculed, criticized, and mocked….. Even by those in the house of the Lord.  (Remember Hannah’s actions and intents were even mistaken by the man of God!)  Yet, you, like Hannah have continued to remain faithful and to endure through every test and trial.

We must remember that as we have been awaiting the arrival of our Samuel – our level of faith has been greatly increased and our stamina intensified.  Birthed within us; as we waited, has been a powerful level of humility and strength.  This dimension from which we now operate permits us to be as synonymous to a “bull walking through a china store”… however not breaking a single dish!  The wait has so fortified our faith and our relationship with the Lord – to the extent that we have become that profitable servant; totally sold out and “souled” for the Him.

No one had to remind Hannah of the vow that she had made to the Lord.  If you have not arrived at the place in your walk with the Lord that you can honor your vows made to Him without the assistance of anyone – then you are not ready for the birth of your Samuel!

However, if you have prayed like Hannah did; remained faithful like Hannah did; endured the times of disappointment, discouragement and seemingly being defeated year in and year out – like Hannah did…..then you will receive you Samuel…..just as Hannah did!

Be encouraged….. God’s appointed time IS at hand!  You WILL receive your Samuel – just as Hannah did – simply because God is not slack concerning His promises!  Every one of His promises are still YEA & AMEN….. WHATEVER He has promised will; without a shadow of a doubt… come to past…….  However in HIS divine timing!

Now is not the time to throw in the towel!  Nor the time to throw up your hands in a loss of hope.    Remain steadfast…. Your Samuel IS on the way!!!!

“ For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.”  Habakkuk 2:3

It’s “BLESSimony” Time!!!

“Oh give thanks unto the Lord for He is good and His mercy endure for ever.” Psalm107:1

We all know that the favor of the Lord is always surrounding, covering and protecting us and all that belongs to us.  (Psalm 5:12)

Have you ever considered the fact that the Lord protects and hides what is rightfully ours?  When we are walking uprightly before God, He allows our Angels to supernaturally “hide” us and everything that concerns us.

Here is a prime example.  I went to the ATM machine that was located within a local neighborhood store to make a withdrawal.  Upon leaving the store and reaching my destination, I discovered that I didn’t have the money that I thought I had withdrawn.  So, I figured that I had made a mistake and not withdrawn the amount that I was looking for. I checked my receipt to discover that I had withdrawn the funds!   Thinking that maybe I had dropped the money I decided to go back to the store and retrace my steps. (CRAZY FAITH!!!)   I went back to the store, retraced my steps….no money.  Well, just before I left the store, I decided to go back to the ATM machine.   Guess what??? The money was still at the ATM machine, hanging out of the machine…I had never taken all of the money out of the machine!!!  Now this is a very hectic, heavily traveled neighborhood store.  But no one saw that money… and no one else had used the ATM prior to my coming back.  The money was just sitting there – in plain view waiting for ME to come back to retrieve it!!

God protects and hides what belongs to us.  Even in our carelessness.   God didn’t allow anyone else to go to the machine to make a transaction.  He didn’t allow anyone walking pass the machine in this very active store to see the money just sitting there.  And, He allowed me to walk in faith to go back to look for it and not just assume that it was gone!

I would like to encourage everyone who is reading this to realize that what God has for you – it is for you!  No one can take what belongs to you….even when you are negligent!

Walk in faith, keep your focus and watch what God will do just for you.  I’ve learned to appreciate everything that God does.  No matter how great or how minute, our God is always working everything out for our good!

The Lord is our protector and glorious king, blessing us with kindness and honor.
He does not refuse any good thing to those who do what is right.  Lord Almighty, how happy are those who trust in you! “                                                     Psalm 84:11-12 (Good News Translation)
