Day 11 - The Day of Accountability

“My awareness of your omnipresence elevates my accountability to you O Lord”

Lord, as another benefit resulting from this period of consecration; I decree that I have an enlightened mindset in regards to my accountability toward you.   May I view with a higher regard every plan, idea and every strategy that you have given unto me - whether it be for me, your people or for the entire universe. 

Although you “Yahweh Hashopet, judge my motives and actions, I must never become stagnant, thus further nurturing the actions of procrastination, that attempt to become a comfort zone.

Therefore, I acknowledge the fact that I hold in high esteem all that you have entrusted to my hands.  So…. as of today, I will begin to set in motion and actively pursue every avenue that leads me to, and takes me down, the path of your divine destiny for my life.  Because I regard my accountability to you far more superior than any earthly commitment, I have an increased zeal to aggressively accomplish your plans for my life.  

May it be my earnest responsibility to always remain cognizant of the fact that it matters not the presence or the absence of people…. My accountability is to you.  Therefore, because you are omnipresent I will always, and alway (no “s”) govern myself accordingly…… knowing that your all-seeing eye will observe my actions prior to their execution; and that you will hear my every word prior to its release from my mouth.  

So Lord, may I place the proper restraints on my flesh as to curtail my actions.   May they always be in alignment with the motives that you, the righteous judge, see within my heart.

Yahweh Hashopet, because my accountability is focused solely on you – I can declare that YOU have empowered me to stand fearless and unashamed.  You have called me to a level of excellence that supersedes the leadership of mankind; and enables me to always adhere to Kingdom Principles….. It is because of this level of accountability that I am and will always be a threat to the kingdom of darkness and an asset the Kingdom of God!

I decree and declare that it is so…..  In the name of Jesus – Amen.

Day 10 -The Day of Wisdom

“Lord may I daily walk in a state of wisdom that operates above my physical age, and natural experiences.”

“Wisdom is the principle thing, therefore get wisdom and in all of thy getting, get understanding.” Proverbs 4:7

To have information and to have no knowledge of its application is equivalent to walking in a rainstorm carrying a closed umbrella.  Many Christians today are experiencing a since of being “overwhelmed” by the circumstances and the occurrences in their daily lives.  Most are truly devoted Saints - who can tote, quote and know who wrote the Bible.  However, they have not received the wisdom for proper application of God’s word.

So today Father, I ask that you El De’ot, reveal to me the hidden treasures of your Word.   I understand that I can no longer afford to walk in ignorance concerning the application of your principles.  You have given me a work to accomplish.   I have the tools, I have the plans, and I have the true desire to continue to walk in your divine guidance.  However, the missing element necessary is your wisdom… which is vital, crucial, and extremely relevant for this level of ministering and ministry.

 El De’ot, May I always remember  that for every minute that I am not aggressively applying your wisdom, “I” am permitting a delay in the manifestation and the execution of your plans for my life.   “I” am opening the door for diabolical distractions. “I” am giving fuel to the kingdom of darkness and giving it permission to release and execute its plans.  

Therefore, I will plunge into you and seek your wisdom at any cost.  The degree of your wisdom which I have already attained and obtained is no longer sufficient.   I therefore humbly release a new mandate into the atmosphere.   I will push through EVERY obstacle that is attempting to prevent me from this advancement, and cling only to you at this time…. as never before.

 I will, I can, I must, ….with a renewed tenacity seek the guidance and direction… the wisdom…… that is only procured from you El De’ot.

Day 9 -The Day of Illumination

Lord may I permit your light to shine through me—REGARDLESS.

To encapsulate the concept of “Illumination”; we could state that illumination is when God, through the working of Holy Spirit, conveys to us an understanding of a revealed Bible truth.  

So today, Lord I ask that you, Jehovah Ori, illuminate every area of my mind that appears to be dark and void of understanding.   Your Son has come to us as our Light; as our lamp … as our path... as that road which reveals an understanding of your desires for us. 

Today may I seek you Holy Spirit as never before, for a fuller revelation of who you truly are Jehovah Ori…. For without revelation I will have no illumination. 

I ask you Lord God, my JEHOVAH ORI; that as a result of this consecration, I will continually seek your face for the true illumination.  May I never fall prey to the ideologies, concepts, and endtime thought patterns that have been released from the kingdom of darkness.  If I must stand seemly alone; then so be it.  Permit me; empower me to never compromise or keep hidden the illuminated revelations that you have given to me….. but to release them at the proper timing.  My effectiveness and stamina as an end-time warrior be maintained only if I seek you daily for a more in-depth illumination of my previously learned strategies.  This is a necessity because yesterday’s strategic planning has been exhausted.  Only you can assure my success daily against every diabolical plot and plan.

May I realize that just because it’s a new year, that fact alone won’t assure me of receiving your “multidimensional” illuminations.  Lord, enlarge my territory…. - the territory of my mind, which will produce new imaginations, a new comprehensive vision and an unquenchable thirst for you.

Jehovah Ori, may I permit your LIGHT to so shine through me, that I may then in return, have that ability to share with others the wisdom, revelation knowledge and endtime strategies that you disclose to me.

Day 8 - The Day of Redemption

HALLELUJAH! I am redeemed!

Even though it has been many years ago, whenever I hear the word redemption, I remember the redemption centers for those S & H Green stamps that people used to collect here in America. 

To summarize the entire process; at the center you would bring in the stamps that you had collected from various markets - and had pasted in a book.  Then you trade or “redeem” your stamps for something of value.

The stamps were just worthless paper, when brought to the redemption center, would be traded for an item whose value was far greater that mere paper.

So, it is with us. In our sin nature, we were nothing short of mere paper; just dirt, just clay, just a blob of useless worthless nothing.  However, God; because of His unconditional love for us has the power to convert, to trade, to exchange and to forever “buy back” our souls.   He desires to release them FROM (the bondages of their former state) and release them TO (their new dimension in the Lord).

There’s a hymn (for those of you who are still blessed to sing them!), which says:

Redeemed -how I love to proclaim it! Redeemed by the blood of the Lamb; Redeemed through His infinite mercy, His child, and forever, I am.

Redeemed, Redeemed, Redeemed by the blood of the Lamb; Redeemed, Redeemed, His child, and forever, I am.

So on today, let us reflect on all that the Lord has permitted us to accomplish….. however great or small.  Let us realize - had it not been for our “JEHOVAH GOELEKH” we would be nothing more than mere S & H Green stamps - with no future or hope.

As Jesse Dixion wrote:

I am redeemed, bought with a price; Jesus has changed my whole life.

If anybody asks you, just who I am, Tell them I am REDEEMED.

Where there was hate, love now abides, where there was confusion, peace now reins,

I’m walking with Jesus; I’m a child of the King. All because I AM REDEEMED!

Day 7-The Day of Strength 

Lord, YOU are my strength!

“My health may fail, and my spirit may grow weak, but God remains the strength of my heart; he is mine forever. “  Psalm 73:26             New Living Translation (©2007)

As we have daily encountered the circumstances of life, we have realized that we have only maintained the ability to yet be triumphant because of an inner strength that has been and always will be prevalent.   This strength is not our strength, but strength of the Lord.

The words in the above text for strength translates as “rock”.  Lord, may I remember that you are my perpetual “ROCK”.  When all else fails—you will remain constant.  Even if there comes a time when my health, wealth, and spirit become overwhelmed—you are still my strength.  Daily may I never attempt to stand in my own strength.  Daily may I acknowledge you in all of my ways.  Daily may I remember that I CAN do all things through your strength which is that rock, that pillar and that fortress forever in my life.    Daily may I remain cognizant of the fact that “In Times Like These”…I have an anchor; my anchor holds…. And it grips you…. that solid Rock!

So Lord, when everything: every foundation, every prop, every support system that has been erected in my life—is shaken…. “when the earth all around me is sinking sand”; on Christ that solid rock I’ll stand!  When I need shelter, when I need a friend; “I go to the rock”.   May I never, never, never forget that YOU, Jehovah Uzzi,  are my strength…..my rock. 

May I fully understand and cling to the essence of an old favorite hymn which states:

“On Christ the solid rock I stand, all other ground is sinking sand”.  

   I decree and declare that it is so…..  In the name of Jesus – Amen.

Day 6 -The Day of Mercy

May I learn to extend the mercy that I’ve received from you Lord

Lord, where would I be today if you had not extended to me an inexhaustible supply of your mercy?  May I remain humbled; may I remain appreciative; may I remain grateful; may I never ever forget that I am not consumed by the consequences of the deeds done in this life - just because of your mercy.

May I now O Lord, receive such an overwhelming revelation of your love that I have the ability to offer your mercy to all.

As I am nearing the end of the first week of this Consecration, I thank you in advance for the tenacity and endurance to persevere and conquer every obstacle and every temptation that will be directed towards me in the weeks to come. May I use the concept of your undying, inexhaustible mercy as the foundation to anchor and sustain me now and in the days ahead.

I reflect on the past week and rely on those character qualities to fortify me for the weeks ahead.  Let me remember that you are my: “My “El Simchath Gili” (God of Exceeding Joy); my “JEHOVAH MEPHALTI” (The Lord my Deliverer); my “JEHOVAH BORE: (The Lord of Creation); my “El NORE” (God that Forgives); my JEHOVAH El EMETH” (Lord God of Truth); and above all my “ELOHE CHASEDDI” (The God of my Mercy).

Day 5 -The Day of  Truth

Today, Lord I embrace your truth.

“JEHOVAH El EMETH”

(Lord God of truth - Psalm 31:5)

“Lead me in your truth and teach me, for you are the God of my salvation; for you I wait all the day long"  Psalm 25:5

Within today’s arena, there has been such a distortion of what is really “truth”, that without the indwelling guidance and direction of Holy Spirit we will be led down the path of error.

Many foundational concepts that were once upheld as the truth have now been replaced with the cunning influences of the enemy.    Not only has our government and its judicial system strayed from the truth, what is even more disheartening is that the body of Christ is beginning to lose its authenticity concerning what is truth.

We must now as never before plunge into the truth of God which He has revealed to us in His Word.   We must embrace it with a “bulldog” type of tenacity.   As we embrace what is truth, it then becomes our responsibility to enlighten those to whom we encounter.  It is our mandate to read the truth, understand the truth, and above all apply the truth to every area of our lives. 

As the fast-approaching end of time as we now know it draws nigh, the kingdom of darkness will cunningly attempt to discredit the truth even the more.  However, God is truth and we must continue to proclaim His truth, avail ourselves of His truth and uphold His authentic Kingdom principles that He has given to us.

If we adhere to the truth and allow it to infiltrate our minds, then we will have to ability to discern error immediately.  SAINTS don’t be blindsided – this is an urgent plea.  We cannot afford to be passively ignorant concerning what is truth.  Time is of a grave essence.  We MUST, by any and every means necessary “raise the bar” and live daily a life founded on “JEHOVAH El EMETH”.

Lord, my plea today is that you assist me as I pray for a keener, endtime discernment.  Jehovah El Emeth establish a supernatural alarm system over ever portal that permits an entrance or access to my spirit.  May I immediately become aware of every diabolical intruder that attempt to enter.  I vow to never yield, entertain or compromise with error; thus weakening the heighten level of integrity that you have ordained for me.  I will be one of the end time warriors who will embrace your truth and enlighten others of the same.

Day 4—The Day of  Forgiveness 

Lord, May I remain cognizant that forgiveness is a decision!

Without getting an in-depth comprehension of God’s love for us, we cannot even initiate a conversation on His forgiveness. 

Although we don’t usually envision it to be so, the concept of forgiveness is birthed from a seed of love.  Inevitably, when we increase and engulf an awareness of God’s love—then the decision to forgive one another will become as natural to us as breathing.

For far too long we have been deceived into thinking that forgiveness must involve forgetting as well.  Forgiveness is a decision not a feeling.  Forgiveness is not reliant upon the acceptance nor the initiation of the offender.  

Forgiveness is a principle that was established by God because He knew that man would sin. He also knew that (1) sin would separate man from Himself and (2) His love for man was so great that He didn’t want to be separated from him.   Hence, He has given to us His most precious gift in the person of His son Jesus to atone for our sin, thus bridging the gap caused by sin.

Therefore, whatever “traps” that I become ensnared in that will cause me to commit a sin - because of God’s unconditional love for me - the blood of Jesus has already made atonement for them. I must now learn how to receive El Nore’s forgiveness for myself and apply it to others who may offend, misuse and abuse me.  I must also realize that to walk in unforgiveness is only a deceptive tactic which has been released from the kingdom of darkness!

When people are offended, those who still have not exceled in the wisdom of the Lord will make the statement, “I’ll forgive them; but I won’t forget what they’ve done”.   Well, why not embrace this concept.  What a blessing it is to forgive and not forget – but REMEMBER! To remember the offenses that have scarred me – yet, to have finally reached a plateau of spiritual maturity in the Lord, where I now possess the ability to DECIDE that I will administer true forgiveness to my offenders…while remaining totally cognizant of their offenses toward me!  Hallelujah!  Now that’s true forgiveness!!!

Lord may I daily embrace and extend to others the true forgiveness that you have extended to me.  Thank you El Nore!

The Day of Creation

 “JEHOVAH BORE”

“Create in me a clean heart and renew a right spirit within me.”                                                                     Psalm 51:10

Today O God may my cry unto you flow from a heart that has the capacity to receive more of your creative nature.   I acknowledge now that it is only through your Divine craftsmanship that I will be freed from every impurity.  So, I ask you not to just renew my heart; but to create - to take from “my nothingness” and compose a completely new heart; a throne from which I will have the ability to receive a renewed spirit.  May I no longer be enslaved to those concepts, precepts, ideologies and strongholds that are relative to my former sin nature. 

Today Jehovah Bore, may I begin to totally understand the awesomeness of who you are.   Only you could CREATE a plan that would permit the redemption of fallen man.  Only you could CREATE a plan for the justification of fallen man. Only you could CREATE a plan for the sanctification of fallen man.  Only you Jehovah Bore could CREATE a plan that reveals your ultimate love for fallen man.

So today, I submit and surrender my heart to you Jehovah Bore, for a complete cleansing; thus, producing a “newly created” heart which is now composed from none of the negativity or the ignorance of my past.  A brand-new heart which possesses a “newness” that only you through the power and presence of Holy Spirit have the ability to CREATE……

AND IT IS SO!!!  HALLELUJAH!!!!!

The Day of Deliverance

Lord you are my ultimate Deliverer

“Surely you shall deliver me from the snare of the fowler and from the noisesome pestilence” Psalm 91:3

The Bible displays are least four concepts for the word deliverance. 

Briefly:

 (1) "to deliver out of the hands of..., to escape." We can find this example in the Hebrew word “Natsal” (Strong's #5337)

(2) "drawing someone to one's self." – “Rhuomai” (Strong's #4506)

(3) "to deliver into the hands of...for the purpose of judgment."  -  “Nathan” (Strong's #5414)

(4) "to have ample space between oneself and one's enemies." “Yasha” (Strong's #3467)

Therefore, today we can stand assured that whatever our need is concerning “deliverance”; our Jehovah Mephalti is well able to manifest it.  When we combine the four definitions above we can comprehend that our God will not only rescue of His people from the dominion of Satan and the world system, but in the process of rescuing and delivering us from, He will draw and deliver us unto Himself.  One commentary summarizes the entire deliverance process as:  “To be removed by God from the hand of the enemy and drawn close to Himself, from which position God places us in confrontation with the enemy on God’s own terms, in order for us to gain victory and defeat the enemy, and to experience freedom from oppression in an ample and secure place.”

As you seek Jehovah Mephalti today, ask Him to reveal to you the areas in your life where total deliverance has not yet occurred - as well as any obstacles and road blocks that are still preventing you from obtaining your total victories. 

Let your prayer for today be: “Today, Lord, I will embrace every concept of deliverance. Deliverance IS my portion.  My spirit, soul and body are totally delivered.  I will also never permit my mind to return to its former state.  Any residual thoughts, motives and actions will have no lingering effect – and will dissipate! Therefore, my deliverance will produce a lifetime of freedom ….never, ever to be bound again.”

Every Blessing of the New Year is YOURS!

^“Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.”  Isaiah 43:19 (ESV)

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! In our ministry one of the times when we embark upon a time of consecration is at the beginning of January.  This period extends for 21 days during which we daily focus on a different character quality of the Lord.  We are also partaking of the Daniel Fast.  The food guidelines are listed separately.  Consecration this year will extend from tomorrow, January 2^nd until January 22^nd .

Our theme for this year is: FAITH + EXPECTATION = MANIFESTATION.

It's a…..NEW YEAR!!!! 

With…

         NEW MOTIVES!!!!    NEW DIRECTIONS!!!!          

          INCREASED DISCIPLINE!!!                       

               INCREASED DEVOTION TO GOD!!!!

Expecting……. INCREASED MANIFESTATIONS!!!!

I would also like to remind you to seek the Lord for the wisdom and the endurance to fulfill every commitment made unto Him at the beginning of this new year.  Far too often we are doing the same things, year after year; then we become discouraged when we obtain the same results as in previous times. 

Stretch your faith this year...step up your game.....  place a demand in the realm of the spirit and watch what the Lord does just for you this year!

Go and Possess Your Land!

“Let us go up at once and take possession of it..” Numbers 13:30

In the same fashion that God lead and directed His people in times pass; so is He doing today.  Sometimes it appears that we have forgotten that the ultimate battle has already been won and the victory is already ours! Many appear to have developed the mind set of the victim in this war instead of the victor.  Far too much time is spent focusing on the what we are observing in this physical realm – than standing in faith and proclaiming the promises of God.

REMEMBER: It doesn’t matter what the intensity or the volume of my voice may be – if my words are not spoken in faith and in alignment with the Word of God – I’m just wasting my time!  It doesn’t matter how many times I decree something, if my mind has not been renewed to the extent that it is in total agreement with the manifestation of my decrees.

Possessing my land requires an ear to hear the voice of God; the discipline the to move out in His timing, a discerning spirit that detects every diabolical move from the kingdom of darkness and an unshakable,, steadfast confidence in the Word of God.

So it’s time to learn how to obtain “sweat less” victories! (Note: The Levitical priest were instructed to were linen as opposed to wool as to not sweat in the presence of the Lord. Research Ezekiel 44:17,18.) We can’t “make” our adversary do anything.  He fears not our words – nor our hype!  However, he MUST, MUST become subject to the Word of God when it is spoken.

Don’t permit any type of fear to cancel your faith!  Speak the Word of God, and don’t permit ANY negative words to override or cancel what you have spoken! Speak it, believe it and it SHALL come forth.  We sometimes forget that just because a spoken request hasn’t manifested in THIS realm – doesn’t not negate the fact that it DOES exist!

Lastly, learn how to extend your prayers above the battle ground and into to the courtroom!  When we learn how to spend more time in the presence of the Lord in worship – we will have the advantage of descending in power.  We will have the privilege of walking as Christ did; telling the enemy, “It is written”.  Don’t permit him (the enemy) to have the upper hand any longer.  God has command and Jesus has defeated every opposing force.  Soooo why the delay?  The time is now! The person is you.  Move forward, keep your focus and go possess your land!

                                                                     The Tithe & The Tip

“What shall I render unto the Lord for all his benefits toward me [How can I repay Him for all His bountiful dealings??”  Psalm 116:12 AMP

I  read an article in “Money” magazine that offered suggestions in reference to tipping those who render specific services to and for us.  The listing included everyone from various walks of life.  As I read through the list, I observed that every person, whose vocation was mentioned, was receiving at the very LEAST ten percent! 

It appears that we have no problem expressing our gratitude to people when they supply us with a few “comforts of life”.  We will even often be very generous to them when we feel as though their services rendered to us were outstanding.

Therefore, if we are willing to demonstrate to mere people our appreciativeness; why is it that so many devoted; scripture quoting; Bible toting; Saints of the Most High God; have a problem giving back to Him?

Far too many have become “bamboozled” or “hoodwinked” when considering their giving unto the Lord.  In all actuality, we, as endtime Saints are no longer bound by the law.  We are supposed to use the principles which were established under the law (in the Pentateuch) to build our foundational truths.  However, we have been redeemed from the law.  The New Testament expresses free will giving.  Yet, since the ten percent guideline was already established in the O.T…. we are to now use that as a minimum for our giving – not a maximum.  We haven’t really accomplished some great feat when we deposit our little ten percent into the tithe box!  The waitress at a local “greasy spoon” is receiving more than that!  Therefore, how can we be content to offer to GOD; who is our FATHER; who is the creator of the entire UNIVERSE; who is supreme in every aspect; and enables us to go out and to obtain our money…..  a ten percent  tithe/offering and be content???? It never ceases to amaze me how people will claim that they can’t afford to tithe!  Yet these same people will participate in various saving programs and plan for a vacation – yet never consider putting aside a special offering for the Lord!

Why are some so apprehensive concerning their giving?  One of the reasons is that they have not been liberated from the spirit of poverty.  That spirit and its big brother: the spirit of fear, are a “dynamic duo”.  Their power must be broken if one is to become a New Testament; free will giver.

So, what shall I render unto the Lord?   Yes, I will render myself as a living testimony of His miraculous redemptive, saving, and sustaining power. However, I will also never esteem others higher than I do the Lord when it comes to giving; especially the giving of money.  Therefore, when I say that I’ve surrendered all – to the Lord – I have really surrendered ALL……even my finances!!

As we are embarking upon a new year, why not amend your thinking concerning your financial giving unto the Lord?  I am a witness that you surely can’t beat God giving!!! The more you give, the more He’ll give back to you.  WHY??? Possibly because when we give in faith, we are exercising our  “faith muscles”.  As with any muscle, the more we exert energy in that area, the stronger it will become.  Therefore, in 2024 let’s be determined that one of the areas that will be altered….positively … will be in our decisions concerning our financial status with the Lord. 

Remember…..

“The silver is mine, and the gold is mine, declares the Lord of hosts.”    Haggai 2:8 ESV

Since it all belongs to Him – Transform your mindset to not be satisfied with giving a meager ten percent.  Instead of thinking that I can’t afford to give more – a renewed mind will embrace the trend of thought that I can’t afford NOT to give more!

Stretch your faith muscles …. And watch how the Lord will compensate you in more ways than you ever imagined!!!!

Apostle Paul said it this way…“I am not saying this because I am in any need, for I have learned to be content in whatever SEASON I am in.” (Philippians 4:11 paraphrased)

Stay in the Race!

“Yet I have left me seven thousand in Israel, all the knees which have not bowed unto Baal, and every mouth which hath not kissed him.” I Kings 19:18

While in prayer one morning the Lord simply said, “Encourage my people”.  

So no matter who you are; just know that it’s not by mistake, happenstance, nor by coincidence that you’ve decided to read this message today.  This message is for you!   God knows each of His children and He gathers; or groups us together as He sees fit. God also likes diversity as depicted by the numerous nationalities represented globally.  However, today He sees us as one.  One group…His people.  People who haven’t swayed in their commitment to Him.  A people who haven’t been hoodwinked or distracted by the nonsense of the adversary….you are a vital part of this group….. And for this YOU are to be commended.

In our text we can read and observe the fact that the prophet of God was on the verge of becoming discouraged and giving up…but the Lord had to reveal to him that there were still others in the race.  So God is still saying today …”Stay in the race!”  You’ve accomplished much – yet, there is more work to be completed.  Your road may have been long and seemingly endless  - but just know that the Lord is well pleased with your achievements.  You may have incurred some bumps and bruises along the way – but you didn’t give up.  Just for that alone…the Lord is saying…. “Well done!”

Whatever you must do; (That’s in accord with the Word of God) that will permit your mind to stay focused – do it.  Always remain cognizant of the fact that our God knows our every motive.  Every single minute occurrence in your life was already prearranged by Him and has emanated from a heart of pure love for you…. for your advancement.

Remember David.  Through all of his victories and defeats; he had learned the art of edifying himself (I Samuel 30:6); and not permitting the enemy’s tactics to diminish his love for the Lord.  Therefore, the Lord said that he (David) was a man after His (God’s) heart. 

You have accomplished much……however you must continue to press forward towards YOUR destiny…. While still enjoying your today!

So be encouraged – now is not the time to give up or give in to the constant parade of attacks from the enemy’s camp.  Stay in the race! Whatever your pace….stay in the race.   You aren’t walking alone – the Lord has billions globally who are still standing for Him – REGARDLESS!

“But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.”  Matthew 24:13

Simply Trust God!

“If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”           II Chronicles 7:14

With the recent occurrences of violence, car-jackings, credit card scams/hackings and national outbreaks of police brutality many people here in America are overly concerned about what they are hearing and observing.  People were wondering what would happen next.  Will the nation’s government be headed by someone who is totally incompetent or will it even experience a major shutdown?  Will people be expected to work and not receive their wages, or maintain the ability to purchase necessary items… or will they be forced to amend their life styles?  What will happen?  What about the next pandemic? ….and the list could continue.

Well.. I just need to remind you that it matters not what impact our judicial system may have on the economy; nor the display of terrorism or police injustice that may transpire; we cannot permit the spirit of fear to invade their spirits!   Matters not who our next president will be nor the negative situation which are occurring  …… Our response must be, “I’ll simply trust God”.

The Bible is full of example after example depicting how the Lord moved on behalf of His people – when they trusted Him.  However when we decide to lean to our own understanding – disaster will be our fate.  God’s word is always true and will always prevail in every situation – if we remain faithful to it.  Now is not the time to “throw in the towel” and give up.  Now is the time to put to work all that you have studied and learned about the Lord.  Now is the time to prove the Lord’s faithfulness and to take him at His word.  SIMPLY TRUST GOD!

To trust is to:

T – Turn: Turn from the negative reflections and the opinions of those who are not adhering to

      what God has decreed. (I Corinthians 15:33 & 34)

R – Rest:  Rest in the promises of God. Cast your cares on Him. (I Peter 5:7)

U – Uproot: Uproot…. Go to the source of whatever is attempting to choke out my peace; attack

       the root not the fruit!  Remember.. It’s a spiritual battle (Ephesians 6:12)

S – Stand: Stand on what the Lord has said.  Gird up the loins of your mind and stand! (I Peter

      1:13)

T – Transform: Transform my vocabulary by renewing my mind; so that I will only speak faith

       filled words.   (Proverbs 18:21)

Therefore it matters not what our judicial system decides….we can chose to operate according to a system which is superior to that system.  We can walk according to the mandates of God’s kingdom.  When we walk governed by kingdom principles; we will be the recipients of His kingdom blessings – and we will have available to us His kingdom provision… REGARDLESS.

Refuse to engulf the spirit of fear that is attempting to invade many at this time.  God’s promises are true and remember…

“God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?”  Numbers 23:19

Our hope….. and our trust MUST be in God!  SIMPLY TRUST GOD!!!!!!

Your Axe-head Will Float Again

(Read: II Kings 6:1-7)

This story as recorded in II Kings has always been among one of my favorites.  Today we will not even be able to “scratch the surface” to reveal all that can be gleaned from the examples and principles provided in this story.  However, we’ll probably come back to it at a later date.

The focus for this meditation is the servant.  He was: working, in the right place, doing what he was instructed to do, using the proper tool and appearing to be accomplishing the task that was required of him.  However, all of a sudden – he was faced with a dilemma.  The very tool that he was using for advancement – which wasn’t even his, (he had borrowed it) – had vanished into the river – never to return again…. So he thought.

When you are faced with a dilemma – who is your first line of defense?  Many times we turn to a spouse, friend, colleague or family member.  Our servant in this story cried to his master.  He cried to someone who had the wisdom, faith and the solution to recover for him what he had lost.

The axehead in this story can represent any tool (or weapon), that’s necessary for me to be effective as I attempt to move towards my advancement.  Or any tool (or weapon) used to bring down, cut down or cut through diabolical plans or natural road blocks.  The servant had temporarily lost sight of his weapon.  However with the proper guidance, and instruction, he was able to see the return of his valuable tool.  So, just remember that your situation isn’t hopeless; no matter how it may appear to you. 

It is only when we are in the proper place; receiving the proper supervision; anchored by the proper support and obeying the instructions which are given to us - that we will be able to cause our “axhead” to float again.

The servant had to DO something.   He didn’t just sit and weep about his situation.  He didn’t just tell his friends or colleagues. He told his MASTER! He told someone who had the wisdom to correct the dilemma, and the power to bring about the recovery of want he had lost.  The servant may have had faith, however “Faith” without corresponding actions – is dead.

As we are in this season of recovery; expect your axehead to float again.  Expect every weapon that is needed for your advancement in this season to be recovered.  Expect the outcome of every situation that appears to be impossible, receive an immediate reversal.

 So go now and recover your axehead – but don’t do it your way (leaning to your own understanding!). You must listen to and adhere to the voice of your Master!  You must listen to the voice of wisdom….which may be delivered to you by God directly through His word or by someone who can provide you with the careful and watchful guidance. 

Your axehead will float again.  However you must be in the proper place, listening to the voice of your Master and doing only that which is relevant in this season for your recovery.

My Ultimate Creator

Today O God may my cry unto you flow from a heart that has the capacity to receive more of your creative nature.   I acknowledge now that it is only through your Divine craftsmanship that I will be freed from every impurity.  So I ask you not to renew my heart; but to create - to take from “my nothingness” and compose a completely new heart; a throne from which I will have the ability to receive a renewed spirit.  May I no longer be enslaved to those concepts, precepts, ideologies and strongholds that are relative to my former sin nature. 

Today Jehovah Bore, may I begin to totally understand the awesomeness of who you are.   Only you could CREATE a plan that would permit the redemption of fallen man.  Only you could CREATE a plan for the justification of fallen man. Only you could CREATE a plan for the sanctification of fallen man.  Only you Jehovah Bore could CREATE a plan that reveals your ultimate love for fallen man.

So today, I submit and surrender my heart to you Jehovah Bore, for a complete cleansing; thus producing a “newly created” heart which is now composed from none of the negativity or ignorance of my past.  A brand-new heart which possesses a “newness” that only you through the power and presence of Holy Spirit have the ability to CREATE……

AND IT IS SO!!!  HALLELUJAH!!!!!

Are My Connections Productive?

Be honest in your judgment and do not decide at a glance (superficially and by appearances); but judge fairly and righteously.                       John 7:24 Amplified Version

As we search throughout the scriptures, we can observe that the relationships which people were involved in were of grave importance.  Therefore, we must realize the significance of becoming associated with and connected to the right people. 

Connections should be for the purpose of increase.  Therefore I should be either the provider or the receiver – but increase is a must.  Wrong, non-productive relationships would be considered one of those “weights which does so easily beset us” (Hebrews 12:1). 

So let’s consider some of our connections.  What do our: friends, acquaintances, religious and secular group memberships reveal?  Are there any connections where I am currently not being increased – or increasing someone else?  Some connections are temporary; seasonal - while others maintain the ability to perpetually be an asset to us in some fashion.   When we don’t know the purpose for a relationship, nor have considered its nature – we will attempt to cling on to and transform those “passing connections” into permanent ones.

We are in the era now where everyone seems to want to “network”. Everywhere you go people are wanting to connect. This can be advantageous as well as detrimental.   We must be on our guard at all times and realize that every good connection may not be a God connection. 

As we approach the end of this year and this season, let’s survey our connections.  Are there those relationships that should be eliminated?  Be determined that those “blood sucking”, non – productive, eternal leeches and carbuncles will not be carried into the new year!  Be determined that you will venture out into new connections to include those that will offer completely difference experiences for yourself and others. 

God has given us the ability to be sociable creatures.  We therefore need connections.  However, we must be certain that every connection will be constructive and offer increase, integrity, stamina and above all receive a stamp of approval from the Lord.

Isaiah 43:19 ESV

Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.

Seven Types of Faith

 “So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” Romans 10:1)

Today we will view this multifaceted word “FAITH” from another angle.   We have been taught through the Word of God, that Faith is obtained by not simply listening to the Word of God – but through understanding the Word that we hear.  However, what so frequently occurs is that we don’t properly understand nor comprehend the Word. We sometimes fail to view the phrases and words used in the Bible in light of the culture and philosophies of that era (in other words from a hermeneutical approach).  Then, since we don’t fully understand the Word, the enemy is able to steal the effectiveness of the Word.  (Read the explanation of the parable about the sower and the seed as recorded in Matthew 13:18-23).  Without the proper understanding – we open the doorway of our minds to the knocks of fear, doubt and unbelief. 

We are all given a measure of faith.  However, it then becomes our responsibility to move forward and upward on the “faith ladder”.  I would like to encourage you to check out the seven types of faith that I’ve listed below.  No doubt this list is not conclusive - just a simple measuring stick to get the ball rolling.

(Not Listed in any Specific Order)

1. Natural Faith (Ex.- The type of faith that we extend to: bus drivers, our Doctors, our

       Banks, etc.  - No one has ever questioned a bus Driver about their credentials – we just display “natural faith” by taking a seat and riding to our destination!)

2. Little Faith (Matthew 6:30)
3. Mustard Seed Faith (Matthew 17:20 – small but potent)
4. Great Faith (Matthew 8: 8 & 10)
5. Measure of Faith (Romans 12:3)
6. Faithless Faith (John 20:27)
7. Visual Faith (Luke 5:20)

I challenge you as of today, to ask the Holy Spirit to begin to open the doorway that will lead you to receive the proper understanding of His Word.  Ask Him to erase the slate of your mind that houses any and all concepts and precepts concerning Him that have been established as a result of man-made traditions and/or erroneous teachings.  Ask the Holy Spirit to place grates over your physical entry gates to filter out and forbid anything from entering into your spirit that would contradict the true understanding of the Word of God.  Lastly, be ready to receive the freedom that the true understanding of God and His Word will initiate.

All levels of faith are initiated from a basic, proper, clear and correct concept of the genuine love shown and expressed by Our Lord through His Son Jesus.  So do you want to unlock the pathway that leads to an enhanced degree of faith??? – The master key is labeled.. “UNDERSTANDING”!  The more that one understands – the greater the level of Faith!
